Pleasantly surprised by the food. Tried the chicken tacos for lunch and they were really good. Just the right amount of spicy/​hotness. I would definitely come for those again.

I decided to visit La Reata for some Mexican fare. I will admit that I personally know the new manager and staff. I know this venue had a bad rap from previous owners. However, I was pleased with the lunch i had. I ordered the wet burrito with steak. It was a hefty portion and quite tasty with plenty of meat and rice, and side garnishments of sour cream, guacamole, and pico. The gringo in me missed having some cheese, but it was still good. The décor has a 70’s feel to it and it’s very roomy. I’ll be back to try the tacos sometime in the future.
