Wish there was an option to give negative stars as the owner is exactly like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. My husband and I went in to purchase a high end knife set as a Christmas gift for my dad. At first the owner(forgot her name because we threw away her card) was great, she showed us several different types of knives and explained how each of them were made. However, as soon as she found out we wanted to compare prices, she transformed into Mr. Hyde and basically kicked us out of the store. She was unprofessional, disrespectful and unbelievably rude. After we left, we went to several other local independent kitchen stores and asked the same questions. It was like night and day, the customer service we received everywhere else was outstanding and we ended up spending ~$ 450 at another store. We were tempted to go back in like Pretty Woman and flaunt our purchase, however, we NEVER want to step foot in this store again. If you shop here, beware of horrible customer service.

This my go to place for kitchen supplies. They have a great selection of pretty much everything and the prices are pretty on target and comparable to what you would find elsewhere. The staff are all really friendly and helpful for the most part and it’s always lots of fun to browse their selection. They don’t carry food items like many stores do but that’s not a problem for me. I’m happy to recommend them to my friends.

The people at this store were very helpful when I came in asking for a «stoneware baking sheet» and a «scraper thing to go with it». They only had a few stoneware items but I found what I wanted. They have a kitchen tool for everything. Their staff are helpful and are very low-pressure sales.

So I love to cook. Just love it. I’m very focused on great ingredients, the right cooking utensils and cookware and the perfect preparation for the dishes. Most recently, I’ve turned my attention to Le Creuset cookware with a real eye to purchase. Unfortunately, it’s eye-poppingly expensive, and it’s expensive at this shop as well. Why four stars? Because the gentleman who helped me(sorry I didn’t get his name) knew Le Creuset inside and out. My roomie had found a 23 skillet at a thrift store and I needed to know more about how to clean and care for it. He was a wealth of knowledge and was happy to share what he knew with me. I also needed a spice grinder for a reasonable cost. He hooked me up with a nice grinder that works great! It ground my caraway seed perfectly and followed up with the allspice without flinching. Need the right thing at the right price with the right information to go with it? Definitely hit this place up. They’re friendly and know their stuff.
