We use Cutlery on Wheels at our business. Always lots of scissors and knives to be sharpened. He comes to our location and does a fantastic job, I can’t recommend him enough.

I found Cutlery on Wheels while browsing the internet and boy am I glad I did. I put out a list at our corporate office for my group and we had a lot of interest. I talked to Bill and he came right to our office with his mobile sharpening setup and did all of our knives while we worked. I have needed mine sharpened for a long time, but I hated the idea of taking them someplace and then being without them for an extended period of time. With this service, there is no having to take them anywhere special or wait days to get them back. Prices are very reasonable, and Bill’s knowledge of all things knife related is great! We will definitely be having him back to do more work. I almost forgot to mention, the knives are super sharp and he even fixed a bent tip on one of my paring knives. I will definitely recommend him to everyone I know.

Cutlery on Wheels comes to the Madrona Farmer’s Market every Friday. We had a few of our knives sharpened here and they did a great job(very sharp!) and they were pretty reasonably priced. The guy uses an oil(or water?) cooled grinder and can do both Western and Japanese blade edges for your knives. Also, I think he said he is an authorized distributor for Shun and Wusthof and carries a bunch of knives with him in his truck. He was incredibly knowledgeable and won’t steer you toward the most expensive crap – he carries Victorinox which are super cheap but the best knives(as rated by America’s Test Kitchen/Cooks Illustrated). The one downside is that because he’s the only dude in the truck, sharpening can take awhile and we were way done shopping at the FM by the time he was done.
