Tom Roof the Cleaner

I used Tom Roof cleaners after researching who I thought I could trust with an expensive handwoven white shawl and case. It was very fine weaving and had a spot. I was concerned about yellowing. I did not need to worry. They did a perfect job removing the spot and cleaning the articles. I decided to take an old American cotton flag to be cleaned. I spot checked and saw that the red would run. I took it to Tom Roof and once again the piece was cleaned beautifully. I told them not to worry if the colors ended up bleeding, but just try their best. They would not be responsible if it bled. I was willing to chance it. It turned out beautifully. The gentleman who does the difficult pieces does a superb job. I haven’t met him, but sure appreciate his expertise. I expected to pay for the flag, in fact I wanted to pay as it required a lot of time on their part, but they refused as a flag cleaning is complementary at this cleaner. I would recommend this cleaner, especially when you are worried about fine
pieces.
