Came with a couple buds for brunch. Comfortable atmosphere with capacious outdoor seating that has a retro contemporary design vibe. We asked to sit outside in the sultry late morning warmth of a what later turned out to a monsoon-filled afternoon. It was understandable that on such s morning many patrons would choose the cooler indoor seating, so we went and saw a mostly empty area with a large party in the corner next to a couple with a child The hostess first tried to seat us next to this chatty party of 14 and couple with child. When we decided to choose our own quieter area she mentioned something about it being reserved for larger parties, but did not resist our request. On a rather warm morning I find it odd to have imaginary reserved seating that has priority over real guests. There was plenty of room for both real and contemplated guests. Brunch options were traditional and allowed for exceptions, and prices were mid-range. They had gluten free bread so that was ordered by one of my dining partners. I ordered a basic sausage and egg dish. The restaurant was not busy; however, the gluten free bread order was forgotten initially, and my dish arrived several minutes after others’ so my friends politely allowed their food to cool while awaiting my dish to make its appearance. My plate was nicely presented and appropriately simple. Two pieces of bread were placed decoratively atop my food without any accompaniment of butter or jam. When my friend’s gf bread finally arrived it came replete with butter and individual mini jar of jam. Why my bread didn’t need these basic adornments as well was a mystery. I then asked for butter and it was quickly provided; happily, it was cold, a sufficient amount, and of good quality. The outdoor atmosphere was pleasant, food was high quality, menu intriguing, offering crepes and more basic American breakfast fare, and accommodated our substitutions and diet restriction requests. I found them eager to appear cool though I’d rather have it as though we were the cool ones. I felt as though I was the supposed to be the wanna be. Though we were politely accommodated, there seemed to be a reticence to embrace our way of things. Being fussy about seating where it’s not crowded or forgetting basic condiments and plates arriving at different times can’t also accompany airs. Overall I’d come back here to enjoy the atmosphere and try new dishes. It has promise and it’s a unique and relaxed setting and the service is attentive.

We went here as a group on a Friday night, which was pretty busy. There are some coordination problems with seating and flow, but perhaps this will resolve as this business gets going. No problems with food or ordering, but didn’t feel like there was anything on the menu that was a must to try. It’s fine, just fine.

Such a fun afternoon with a dear friend. Sat at the bar and enjoyed yummy sangria and delish nosh served by a wonderful, attentive bartender named Derrick. The chandeliers and décor are absolutely lovely. Never disappointed at The Living Room!

Servers are not really helpful with simple tasks such as recommending lunch items. One girl answers my question with an answer that sounds like a question and it made me feel really awkward in ordering. Anyway. Eh.

Well our experience there was nothing special to say the least. We ordered drinks I had a Margarita with no salt. When they brought out the the drinks mine had salt. I said I’m sorry I asked for no salt. They took my drink back to the bar and I front of me poured it into another glass Salt and all. Then the food came out let’s say I could have made all of this at home and probably better. The burger I ordered was a regular frozen party with canned green chili and a slice of store bought cheese. The appetizers took 40 minutes as well granted we were not in any hurry but I felt it took to long. At the end of the meal the manager did take the margarita off the bill and gave me a coupon for 25% off my next visit but I don’t think I would be visiting this place again.

The food was very good and came out very quickly. I had the tuna melt and homemade potato chips. Love the wine flights and the layout of the bar. My complaint is that it took 30 minutes after they dropped off the bill before they came back and only because I stood up and told them I was very frustrated and needed to leave. At that time, they told me I needed to spend $ 2.50 more to hit the amount for my groupon. I told them to just charge me for something, anything, but I needed to leave. At that point, the seemingly person in charge just told me I could go and not to worry about the tax and tip. They would cover it. Although they fixed it at the end, not sure if I will return or not. I usually sit at the bar because I am in a hurry. Not sure their customer service is in a hurry.

Great date night with my wonderful husband. Great fast service. Used a groupon but still got the happy hour prices on the wine and appetizer. Food was delicious and service was fast and efficient. Will definitely go back.

Went for happy hour, the majority of their wines are $ 5 during happy hour which is a steal. Ordered bruchetta and a pizza and was impressed at how flavorful the food was. The atmosphere is open with great seating for friends, family or a date!

My favorite thing about the Living Room is the dining area. It just feels so open and homey. They also have a very large and welcoming patio. I really wasn’t digging the food though. This review is only for their brunch menu. I had a Groupon for essentially ½ off and could only justify going for brunch because I heard that the dinner items were way overpriced for the quality. The mimosas were pretty good and at a fair price($ 5). Bottomless mimosas I believe were $ 10. I got the open faced sandwich($ 11.95) which was almost good. The eggs I requested poached were perfect and the flavors were okay. BUT I almost broke my teeth on the two rock hard pieces of ciabatta bread on the bottom. Very difficult to eat. My brunch date’s meal was very mediocre which isn’t a bad thing, but also not a plus. I’m not sure I will be back unless it is for the ambiance or with a Groupon.

Excellent brunch. Crab and asparagus crepes with $ 5 mimosas!!! Yum. Hubby’s BD and he had their fabulous Bloody Mary and Fitness Wrap. We’ll be back.

So upon reading the Unilocal reviews I was actually quite nervous to try this place out based on the service. Came here on a Friday afternoon with a girlfriend. I used the groupon deal as I had heard this place was overpriced and had small portions. Low risk right?!? We arrived and got seated outside(our choice) right away. The waiter did take a while to come and take our drink order but once he came by we also put in our food order since I had read that the staff hardly comes back around. Their white sangria was delicious and during happy hour it’s $ 5 a glass! We ordered a chefs board which was super tasty, the Margherita pizza and some spinach and artichoke dip. The pizza wasn’t all that great, tasted like something from the frozen section of the store but the spinach and artichoke dip was quite tasty. Our server did come and check on us a few times along with the wait staff bringing our food. Overall I would come back here based on my experience. Happy hour here is a great deal so keep that in mind! They were able to use my groupon even during happy hour but I did have to pay full price for the two items I got(wine and dip) just FYI.

We went here for dinner. The food was fine but they skimp on burger toppings, and what you get isn’t as fancy as it sounds on the menu. Not worth the $ 12 with so many other great dinner restaurants I town. With that being said: Great atmosphere… I would go here again for drinks and appetizers with friends, just not dinner. Friendly staff and good wine selection.

Thanks for the bogo brunch and dinner postcard offer in the mail that ill never use btw. I have a better idea… listen to the many people on Unilocal and straighten up your business. For example, how many people have to say that they dont want bread instead of pita served with your hummus. Its actually kinda funny. Just like everyone else said before: Food average(not worth the price) Portions super small Figure out the menu, there’s sushi, burgers, bruschetta, hummus… doesn’t make sense. With a place like North so close by and a limited population… somethings gotta change!

Wicked sushi. I’m kinda sad that it’s no longer Armitage, but honestly this place is a step up. It’s got the wine lounge feel, and also great food. We got spinach and artichoke dip(best I’ve ever had I think), the pretzel, and bruschetta for apps, sushi and the cheese fondue as our entrée. The Wicked sushi roll is great, as was the cheese fondue. However, they added cooked cauliflower which we thought was kinda weird(it should have been raw cauliflower), but the pretzel dipped in the Brie was to die for. The service was super nice. We also shared a few bottles of Pine Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon. Amazing wine.

First thing is first This is NOT Armitage and comparing The Living Room to it is unfair. They shared a location, but are different owners, concepts and overall businesses. So now that we have that out of the way. The Living Room was lively. I went on a Wednesday and it was busy and had a good buzz. The music was up, but I still held a fantastic conversation with a great girlfriend. Clearly it was not too loud. I enjoyed the Zinfandel, which was Plungerhead. I found the wine list decent sized but very safe. This is not points off in my book, but not a ton of creativity. Tons of safe options is all fine by me. I wasn’t hungry, but my girlfriend ordered the caprese salad. It looked fantastic and she enjoyed it thoroughly! Our bartender, Alex was great! She checked in the perfect amount and joined in on our banter when it was appropriate. She jumped to give me an industry discount, which makes me want to come back and bring more friends. Overall, I am very impressed and am to come back and try their cuisine.

Beautiful setting. Large and spacious. Great commanding view of the valley below. New eaterie with professional staff and a new menu. Oh and the wine storage … could I get locked in there at night? haha Well actually the wine room is for rent. The deck was toasty warm with comfy furniture. I look forward to going back to further explore the menu. Very professional wait staff. They even choose their own wines with a private label for the restaurant. Nice.

The food is average but the servings are pitiful. I spent almost 40 dollars for lunch and was still hungry as were my friends. The sliders have a tiny amount of meat but are good. The rest was really slim. The shrimp was ALL batter and very little shrimp. The pizza was cracker thin and small. Sushi was good. But the lettuce cups have such a small amount of meat and the shrimp appetizer was like 3 shrimp cut up. Everything feels like a rip off. The bruschetta were small. Everything is overpriced. The deserts are good though as is the brunch menu. Service could be better. If they increase the portions I might go back.

Great ambiance, but the food is subpar. My friends and I ordered French fries, a pizza, the cheese fondue, and bruschetta. We were disappointed by the small portions, and thought everything was overpriced. Our drinks were decent though. We were all still hungry, and didn’t want to order any more food, since nothing tasted spectacular. Also, the menu is all over the place — -it offers everything from sushi, to pizza, to burgers, to fondue — very strange. I recommend coming here for drinks only.

So glad to have another place to hang out with friends! This restaurant is located in the former Armitage and the remodeling they did is beautiful! They have a full bar and an extensive wine list. The food was pretty good but they were out of a few things we wanted to try. They brought out regular bread instead of pita with the hummus. We will give it another try later.
