Not a bad place. Has all the essentials but don’t expect excitement in te presentation world. This place is not trying to create an emotional experience. No acknowledgment when I walked in. No inqury as to what I might be looking for. I pondered over the beer selection and only after I made a choice and asked about the chilled whites did I realize there was a whole other cooler of choices. No mistake, this was a Walmart experience without te Walmart prices.

I love the fact that there is a small, cozy liquor store located close to my home. It’s a nice option if you want personal service and the ability to find something quickly rather than looking up and down 42 aisles of booze.
Mick and Justin, the owners, keep a nice stock of items in the store including Single Malt Scotch, Tequila, Small Batch Bourbon and ~drum roll please~ …Dogfish Head brews! Yee-​Haw! Their cooler has a nice selection of many craft brews, not just Dogifish. When it comes to wine the guys are knowledgeable at pairing a great bottle of wine with your meal which is a breathe of fresh air.
I highly recommend this upscale little liquor store if you’re on this side of town. Great customer service, great booze… and it’s LOCAL!

I was making a holiday purchase for someone and I do not live in town, or even in State for that matter! Finally I called Magee Road Liquors, and Mick the owner was a breathe of fresh air! He was friendly, and accommodating. Mick was also knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile for a customer. He made sure I knew about the delivery and the progress of how it was received. I would not have been able to get this gift to the recipient if it wasn’t for him. I will do all of my business, in this area, with Magee Road Liquors. They have outstanding customer service– which is truly a rare thing these days!

A great resource for fine tequila, scotch, wine, and beer. They have a great selection and customer service that is personable and helpful. A nice change of pace from the big box stores– a true gem!
