I love Sauce for what it is. No frills, no pretension, good, consistent service and you know what you’re going to get. It’s always a smooth process. You walk in and check out their menu which is posted on the wall leading up to the cash register/ordering point. They have a selection of sandwiches, soups, salads, pastas, pizzas, and appetizers. Just enough variety so there is something for everyone to find something they like. They do offer limited wine and beer as well. Once you’ve ordered and paid they hand you your drink cups and a number and will bring your meal to your table. This is quick casual dining, not a full sit down experience. I adore the winter roasted veggie salad, add chicken. Chunks of butternut squash and other yummy veggies atop mixed greens and a light vinaigrette are a crazy good flavor combo. For the most part their salads are awesome-ive tried almost all of them at one point or another and they’ve been consistently fresh and tasty. I’ve also sampled the tomato basil soup, which is okay. I find it to be a bit one note. The turkey pesto panini is a great light lunch. I’ve tried their pizza as well and I prefer the thicker crust –the thin crust pizza they offer is a little too much like a cracker for my taste. One of the downsides of this place is that it’s loud. It’s echo-y and sometimes you can hear other diners conversations from across the room. I wouldn’t rate this concept as 5 stars because while the food and service is always fresh and consistent, it is not on the same plane as other places that offer similar fare. It’s great for a casual lunch or simple dinner, but I wouldn’t suggest it for a date night(first date, anyways) nor for a special occasion(birthday, anniversary, etc). Added bonus of this place: the gelato shop next door is a tasty way to end your meal if you want dessert.

Pizza here is very good; more of a boutique, gourmet approach than your standard doughy monster dripping with red sauce. Personal favorites are the mushroom arugula and the Rosemary potato — very different and very good! Salads are good, but not great. Apple walnut is recommended. Pasta is not so hot: a bit on the tough and rubbery side.

Went sauce for dinner and was very disappointed. There were three of us and the staff brought out our dinners five minutes apart. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. When I order a grilled cheese I expect mayo and butter on it. Mine has nothing but the cheese. When dining out I also expect all meals brought out at the same time.

Went to this location and placed an order for 4. Presented a gift card and they wouldn’t accept it. They said they are under new ownership so I’m out of luck. They lost a customer over a $ 30 check which probably cost them $ 12 in food costs. Experience matters and this one was horrible. Any reputable business would have honored the card. They’ll likely see new ownership soon if they aren’t out of business first.

We had dinner here last night & was pleased as always. They had my favorite soup– veggie– & we split a bowl. The soup has so many different veggies and the broth is delicious. It has a touch of Parmesan in it as well which makes it extra good. We each had the vegetable salad It has a delicious vinaigrette dressing that’s very light. Another one of our favorites that we never tire of… One of my favorite places to eat lunch or dinner. Also I love the whole wheat rolls! Good option for vegetarians.

Very casual place to grab some quick Italian food. It’s located in a strip mall, so there is plenty of parking available outside. The interior is very simple with a large amount of seating. Outdoor seating exists as well, but may not be enjoyable if it’s really hot outside. You will notice the menu on the wall when you walk in. Good size menu with lots of options and reasonable prices. The service was good. Very friendly and quick. The food was solid. We had the vegetable salad, sausage and pepperoni pizza, and the chicken broccoli and cheese pasta. No pics to post unfortunately, as we were really hungry when we got to the place and couldn’t wait. It was really tasty tho. All in all, great casual spot to grab a quick bite to eat if you’re in the area!

Every Sauce in town, you walk into and you say dang this place is busy. Well there’s a reason because it’s good quality food you can’t go wrong with. The moment your plate arrives in front of you, you’re impressed with how well it looks and you just can’t wait to dig in. The blend of flavors of every dish I have ever had has been delicious and I finish every single bite. In addition, the staff is friendly, welcoming and best of all quick, to get through the usually massive line that sometimes goes out the door. Thank you for the great service and savory food. Until next time!

Great pizza and wine! Friendly and fast service especially considering the work required. The hand stretched dough is fantastic and reminiscent of a small rustic pizzeria. Very reasonably priced pizza and bottles of wine. Would be 5 stars, but the wine glasses were dusty. Will definitely be back!

I would have given it five stars but they no longer a part of the Fox restaurant chain and do not accept it any longer. Bummer especially to find out after we placed our order they won’t take our gift card. Never even an email stating to the fact that they are no longer part of the Fox restaurant chain.

If you have never been to Sauce, it is high time that you go!!! The food is fantastic, always fresh, extremely tasty, and the portions are large! I highly recommend dining at the location on Oracle in Tucson, the staff there are ALWAYS super friendly and purposely professional. When you leave there, they make you feel you’re leaving a friends home after a tremendous meal! My favorite dish is the Chicken and Broccoli Pasta with cheese sauce, but EVERYTHING they offer is over the top deliciousness!

For my money the mark of a well run restaurant isn’t never making a mistake, its how you react when one happens. Manager here went above and beyond to correct an error. The food, service, and atmosphere was as always, great. That’s why we keep coming back.

Probably the only pizza place I’ve ever been to that can pull-off putting lettuce on a pizza. They have three or four different pizzas with lettuce on them(my favorite is the chicken caesar) and they are all delicious. Makes the pizza hut taco pizza look like a sad gimmick. Sauce has gourmet pizza for the same price as chains. This place is also really really affordable. Take a date for under $ 25 and a family of 4 for under $ 40. Generous portions and low price more than deserve a 5-star rating.

There were about 14 of us all at my granddaughters get together. Service was great and fast. I loved my Caesar salad and the prices were great. Positive attitudes of the employee’s. A good experience. You may get lucky with the parking but I say, Parking sucks.

I so wanted to like Sauce. I did find every single employee I met to have a great attitude and super helpful. Kudos to the management for creating such a great work environment as it shows to the customers. Now the bad part. I ordered a mushroom and artichoke pizza. There was at most **ONE** mushroom sliced thinly on the whole pizza. I am not exaggerating. I am guessing there was ¼ of an artichoke. Basically it was a cheese pizza with a few veggies dropped on. In fairness, my husband ordered mushroom pizza that had what looked like a salad on the top(similar to a picture someone posted). His had plenty of mushrooms. There is an opportunity for the Sauce team to figure out why the inconsistency and how to catch it before it reaches the customer.

Not just a pizza joint! Although the pizza is great and they have gluten-free no less! There is something for everybody at sauce! Vegans, health-conscious and those watching our waistline there’s something for everybody at Sauce. Love the salads especially the summer vegetable salad. Quick, clean, easy and efficient. Great little outside dining area as well. Great prices.

I love Sauce, I usually go here for their salads because they have a very nice selection. I love the whole pay first concept so I don’t have to wait on someone to bring the check after my meal I can just go, that was a great idea I wish more places could adapt to. You can order wine, or beer as well as the usual soft drink, tea selections. They do have really good pizza, personally I get the hand tossed crust if ever I do get the pizza because the thin crust really only leaves me feeling not completely satisfied. The one with the mushrooms and shaved Parmesan is my favorite, and I highly recommend it. They’re very cool about bringing extra bread with your lunch upon request. In a nutshell, if you want a good lunch that’s more casual and laid back this is a great place.

We love this place– been coming for years, every time I come home for a visit, and it is consistently fantastic. :) We literally have to hit this place up at least twice in our less-than-a-week long visit home! I am a big fan of their pizzas, especially since they’ve added a ‘hand-stretched’ crust option– we go for the sausage/caramelized onion every time, but the other are good too. We just can’t give up that savory-sweet taste combo! To add to it, they have great salads– personal favorite is the chicken & pine nut salad– lots of great flavors, enough cheese and nuts to make it hearty and the roasted chicken is always good. Reasonably priced, consistent, and great staff. :)

Love the whole Sauce vibe. Order up and get it delivered to your table. Everyone working here was very nice. Love that it’s pretty much farmers market fresh. I had the turkey and feta salad. Super yum. Very fresh and the flavors really complemented each other. My aunt had the chicken and pine nuts which she says is her usual. My kids split a cheese pizza and some chicken and broccoli pasta which they loved. Hubs had the lasagna and almost licked the plate clean. I also have to recommend the bruschetta. It’s always one of my favorite things to get and here it is stellar. Very fresh tasting and flavorful. I liked the artichoke version best… it was unique. Great wine list, good choices for gluten free as well. Good value for the prices. Gets crowded though so go early if you can.
