Laundry On Pantano

I went over to Rincon cleaners just around the corner. They had a higher star rating. But believe me I will lot be going back there again. It’s been some time since I used a public laundromat. Rincon wanted to charge me 5 dollars just to use a card w/​out any value on it. Then I had to put funds into the card to use their machines. 1.25 for detergent. No thanks I’ll go some where else.
***Around the corner was Laundry on Pantano. They too had cards, but a big sign saying the cards are refundable, there was nice employee named Mark who help me out tremendously., He saw how much I had to wash made a recommendation on a machine to save me money. I didn’t even have to buy a card, he was able to put everything on his card and ran me a tab. At the end of the wash I just paid him, I had a pocket full of quarters and he was super cool with it. Even the ambience was nicer, they had TV air-​conditioning stools and chairs vending machines, at the other place it was bleak and sad all I saw were 3 crappy looking video games. Next time I need to do my wash at a public laundromat. I’m going to Laundry on Pantano. Thanks for nothing Rincon.

What a sweltering place! Those poor employees that have to work here! They only have swamp coolers then with the monsoon weather, the dryers and all the water it was a sauna in there!!! Horrible! By the time you get finished you are completely wet from sweating and on the verge of passing out!!! Employees are nice and the place is kept clean. It’s just pretty sad they won’t upgrade and put AC’s in.

Best laundromat I’ve ever been to.
TV, kids toys, kids books, free coffee, plenty of machines; washers in assorted sizes as well as two options in dryers.
Machines require payment via a $ 3 card that you must purchase and load with cash, but it’s refundable when you return your card.
Clean and bright. Even bathroom is clean.
Soda and snack vending machines though I don’t consume such products.
They offer drop-​off services as well.

I came in here for my second time after a good first experience. I had the COMPLETE opposite experience of my first one. The older lady with a long grey braid who was working seemed completely uninterested in my potential business. Very disappointed to find they don’t accept cards of any sort, and even more disappointed by her demeanor while telling me this. will not be back, sadly.

Avoid this establishment.
I have been here once before and it was great. Friendly staff, very clean and the machines worked well. Would have been a 4 star review but I never got around to it.
Unfortunately, this time around things were different. I was «helped» by a miserable older woman with long grey hair in a pony tail. She didn’t acknowledge me, despite waiting patiently at the counter for a while. I asked her for a laundry card (you need to have one to use the machines) and I had planned on loading on $ 20 with my debit/​credit card but she quickly denied me saying «We don’t take cards here.» Then she just stood there staring at me, awaiting a response. I thought she was going to say something else but she didn’t. Awkward… so I reluctantly replied «oh that’s too bad. I guess I’ll have to go somewhere else». She smiled and said «Okay!» and walked away to her folding duties or whatever she would rather be doing.
This entire one star experience could have been avoided if she had even made half an effort to act like she cared or valued our business. She could have said «no cards, but there’s an ATM down the street» or «no, we don’t take cards. sorry for the inconvenience». I’m not looking to get my behind kissed or anything and I would have had no problem going to get some cash but It was almost as if she was happy that we were not giving her business. Oh well, their loss.
I usually don’t give places one star but since they were completely useless to me, they have eared it!

Thanks to a new puppy had to take two King-​size bedspreads to the laundry (they are too large for my home machine). Mark saw me trying to figure out the card system and asked if the two loads were all I was doing. When I said yes — he said don’t bother with the card, he would start the machines and I could pay cash, then did the same for the dryers. I was most appreciative as I won’t be back til the next time I have to wash a king size comforter. Great customer service Mark, thank you.

i will never go there again, i brought in my laundry, mainly bdus (air force clothes) and shirts, they ruined my clothes, i told the idiot running the counter i only wanted permanat press, as i have poly shirts, i payed them cash and instead of giving me a card to do my laundry they throw it in the machine and push the whites button, i told this guy at least 5x not to do this, i told him to stop my laundry i do not want this, of coarse he knows it all, the worst part the manager just let him do whatever he wanted, now im stuck with all my ruined clothes, my shirts are heat damaged, and falling apart. my abu’s faded and i just bought them. i dont need someone supervising me on using a laundry machine or dryer, i am not an idiot im older than the worker this is not my first rodeo, i follow instructions. unlike this employee.

I had the privilege of meeting the owners while doing my well over due loads of laundry a few weeks back. I was absolutely pleased at how personable and helpful they were. I had my infant son and my 8 yr old with me and no one gave it a second thought.
As far as the helpfulness of the workers, I believe you get what you give. If you are kind and patient and not expectant you will get help and lots of it! They have jobs to do to and it’s not just to help you.
I will be going back very soon. I don’t believe I’ve eve seen a cleaner laundromat.

Clean with plenty of washers in varying sizes. Lots of dryers that actually dry quickly. Great for getting all the laundry done in under 2 hours twice a month. Friendly and helpful attendants. They even have a coffee station in addition to the vending machines. I wish they were open until 10pm though. Sometimes I like to do laundry late.

DO NOT VISIT THIS LAUNDROMAT! THEY HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Its NEVER about the outside aesthetics. This is a nice laundromat. Its very clean and spacious.
HOWEVER, the elderly woman who works here is EXTREMELY rude. She threw money at me, completely ignored me when asking for help with starting a machine, then when confronted about her rudeness, she got upset and threw me and my 2 young children out of the laundromat. After asking to have the owners number she shouted that she was the owner. I had to take wet clothes from a washer and drag them out.
They are not child friendly at all. The only customers seem to be retired bitter old people. There was an older woman who verbally attacked me, antaganized my five year old as he walked around and talked about me for having too much laundry. Then laughed right along with the clerk as I struggled with trying to get wet clothes into my car.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMENDED THIS LAUNDROMAT TO ANYONE! YOU WOULD DO BETTER DRIVING ANOTHER MILE OR SO.

This is one of the cleanest laundromats I’ve been to. After several experiences having clothing ruined at other places with gum/​stains on the dryers, I was so happy to see perfectly clean and white dryers and washers. This place obviously gets regular upkeep and cleaning, plus has an attendant who is usually very helpful.
They do use the card system, which can be annoying if you’re new/​just doing a couple loads, but I love not having to find quarters. They have a great variety of machines too, high efficiency, a bunch of 4+ loads, and top loaders. Their waiting area is alright, magazines, vending machines, TV and clean seats.
They also have a next day wash and fold service for $ 1.30.
