This isn’t the best Mexican food. although, its descent. the only issue I have the food sometimes isn’t hot enough. also I would like to see the kitchen staff wear gloves and the bathroom be thoroughly cleaned. this is by my fiancé’s parents house so I’m sure I will have it again but it isn’t something I would drive from the east side to have because I’m craving.

Disapointing, pureed tomatoes as a mild salsa isn’t any fun. Canned enchilada sauce. Typically bland food and basically gringo average food, Do yourself a favor an cruise by 6th and 12th for some cheaper an better eats that are much more appealing

Never had mexican food in an egg-​roll before. Also, never ordered mexican food from a drive through window before (because, well, Taco Bell isn’t Mexican food…) I got the Mini-​Chimi Tasters plate. Came with three chimis, each with a different filling. Tasted good, but more because of the fried exterior rather than delicious interior. Also came with rice, cheese, beans, lettuce and guac on the side, with some actually good salsa. Service was very quick at least. I should try a main dish next time, if there is a next time.

My family has been eating here since before I was born, and to this day they are my favorite. They have the best beans in Tucson and great margaritas! Growing up in Tucson I’ve eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants in Arizona and this is by far the greatest Mexican food I’ve ever had! I suggest the #7 combination plate because it has a bit if everything, but nothing here is even close to bad, right down to the cheeseburgers! If you haven’t tried this place you should make it a point to stop by! They started summer specials that are a great deal!

This is the first I have ever been there and thought I would try it out since I drive by it every day. My sister and I ordered from their drive thru and I should have left after they told me they didn’t serve horchata, we ordered lemonade instead (it was ok). We both had a combo of cheese enchiladas and a taco, with rice and beans, they also added chips and salsa. We got home and tasted the food and I can’t even call it MeXican food. It tasted like everything came from a can! Canned beans, canned tomato sauce, the taco shells were OBVIOUSLY store bought, etc. There was nothing authentic about their food. The only thing that tasted good was the chips and salsa but im very disappointed, especially for the price I paid. It is overpriced all together and the food also seemed like it was sitting in a fridge and they just heated it up in a microwave. We couldn’t even eat half, oooh well. Wont be going back.

Friends took us here for dinner right before closing. They served us with gusto and didn’t seem to mind our late arrival. Had a pitcher of margaritas to start, delicious! It was recommended we try the baked tostada with cheese and green chili. Very simple and flavorful. The chips and salsa are absolutely delicious! The salsa had so much flavor and was spicy! No canned/​stewed tomatoes here. Ordered the tamales in red and green. The red tamales took it home for me. Delicious red chili flavor, spicy, and meaty! Definitely homemade, the kind you buy by the dozen from a friend of a friend! I did not care too much for the green style. I will definitely eat here again!

Love the flan! Enjoyed the flat enchilada and the green chile tamale. I’ve been coming here at least once a year for the past 10 years. They are a bit pricey, but I usually come here with my family that lives in the area.

I went to La Casita De Molina for lunch today. I was meeting a group of friends and didn’t have high hopes due to the reviews on Unilocal.La Casita De Molina was better than I expected, but nothing special. I had chicken tacos and a side of beans. I liked the taco, but the beans didn’t have much flavor. The restaurant is about a 35 – 40 minute drive from my house. Definitely not worth the drive, but if you’re close by it’s not bad.

Been by this place forever and decided to stop for lunch as I was craving some Mexican food. Service was great, seated right away and food came quick. Also plus that they have green corn tamale. But the food was just ordinary and salsa sucked. Salsa tasted just like canned tomatoes. You cant get away with that in Tucson. Also they had no lunch menu specials or even a lunch menu. It was $ 10.95 for just a combination plate for lunch and it didn’t even come with rice. Quality of food was not great at all. Much better places for some good mexican food in Tucson.
They do have a drive through if you don’t want to go inside which is cool.

My husband and I frequent this place when we want a GREAT Mexican meal. The chips and salsa are fantastic, it is a bit on the spicy side but the right consistency and flavor. They have a great selection of combination plates. I am partial to the # 6, a cheese enchilada, a bean tostada and a beef taco. I substitute a chicken taco, which you can get rolled or folded. We often compliment the meal with a margarita, which they make quite well, especially for the price. The service is always great, and the food is consistent and delicious, even from the take out window.

Finding ourselves at dinner time in the west part of town, I Unilocaled looking for a good restaurant and this is the one we decided to try based on others’ reviews. We’re happy we did.
It’s small but comfy inside filled with locals and has an active take-​out window.
The chips and salsa (a tad on the hot side) were delicious.
We got combo plates of a bean tostada, guacamole taco, and cheese enchilada and when they arrived the food was piled high. The rojo sauce on the enchildada was especially good and was done in the Sonoran style.
Our server very attentive and very welcoming.
All in all, a fine eating experience at a fair price.

Overall a great experience. The food is like something out of your Mexican abuela’s kitchen. Prices are reasonable and what you see on the menu is exactly what you get. The guacamole, beans and tortillas are fantastic, and the salsa is actually spicy! The menu is fairly basic, and tbere is almost no seafood. If you want basic Mexican food at a good price, give this place a try.

I went here once for their lunch buffet. It was an experience! Everything you could want in a Mexican food lunch buffet, taquitos, tacos, rice, beans, the fixins for buritos, chimmies, and anything else that you can fry. Needless to say, after eating all you can eat tacos taquitos and chimmies I was seriously ill. I really don’t think it was the food quality, I think our bodies are just not meant to take in that kind of grease. It all tasted great but I never went back because it is so bad for you and so hard to control your primal fooding urges.
