Location: Food truck so you will just need to find out where the Tucson Food Truck Round up is going to be and most likely they will be there. I’m not sure if they are a part of that association but they were there with all the other trucks that are normally together Food: I had the chance to try their schnitzel sandwich($ 7) and a water($ 1). The sandwich was nothing special or did not even really seem to have much flavor. I tried the schnitzel by itself without the roll or the lettuce or tomato and the breading did not have much flavor to it which in turn did not compliment the pork. It really just felt like it was a normal fried, pork sandwich with regular flour as the breading. The roll it was seated in between was soft and good and the vegatables complimenting the sandwich seemed fresh. Just overall and«Meh» experience. Would I go back?: Only if I was really in the mood to have some other German food. I would try the Brats next but I thought with this schnitzel sandwich being their special, that it would meet higher expectations. PROS: — Its German Food CONS: — For a food truck wait, it took longer time for the food to get out than expected(greater than 10 min which seems to take forever when your standing next to a food truck waiting for your food)

This truck is the real deal! Authentic German food! I got lucky and got to try the Schnitzel, a special menu item they offer ever so often. The potato salad is to die for.

Did I mention that I’m NOT supposed to have restaurant food for a long time? Loophole! This isn’t a restaurant. It’s a food truck. This was actually parked outside of my job today, and the husband decided to come see me at work. He got German food wood just looking at his favorite place(he goes on base often) and decided that we shall dine in style. ;) He had curry wurst. It was pretty good! Different, but good. Why did I choose to go to the food truck next door!!! More on that later. He bought me a black Forrest cake. Throughout bites I was like«nom nom nom… I wonder if this is Duncan Hines… nom nom… naaah. Who decided to throw cherries in chocolate cake!!! How amazing. I can eat seven of these!» I didn’t eat seven. I only had one, but if I had my way, I would have TOTALLY had seven. I’m the biggest cake glutton ever. I had a Sonoran dog from another truck. Husband’s curry wurst kicked the Sonoran Dog’s butt all over the parking lot. I ended up in the bathroom. Thanks Sonoran dog. –_–

What can I say, I’m a fan! I love nothing more than finding the best hot dog or brat at a festival and this is how I FINALLY got a taste of Haus of Brats. Debating between the regular/traditional and the Über Brat(bacon wrapped brat stuffed with cheddar cheese), I went for the traditional– and I’m glad I did. As it should be, the brat was juicy as can be fresh off the grill! Ketchup, sweet mustard, med-spicy mustard and spicy mustard are available to dress up your brat. They were out of spicy, so I went with medium, which was pretty mild on the spice. Brats are a combo of lamb and pork and boy are they flavorful. Super delicious. The only thing I didn’t really love was the bun. It was a little thick and dry for my taste– perhaps that’s the way it should be. Nonetheless, this food truck is totally worth the visit and I’ll definitely be back. Hopefully next time I’ll pair my brat with some spicy hot mustard!

Curry wurst for the win!!! As a huge fan of German fare and if I may say so a connoisseur ;) I was pretty excited when I saw this food truck outside of total wine. And it did not disappoint! Delicious ! Go find this truck! Chase it down if you have to! And don’t be afraid of the wurst!

As a Wisconsin girl who was raised in German-American culture, I think I’m at least partially qualified to say that these are the best brats I’ve ever had. Upon arriving at this food truck, I was greeted by two very friendly people who very promptly assembled my order, a classic brat with sauerkraut. Every aspect of this brat was done right down to the last detail. The brat was tender and juicy, the kraut was crisp, and both were spiced to absolute perfection. The hot mustard was sufficiently hot and flavorful, and it was all served on a large German roll perfect for containing copious amounts of toppings and condiments. I can’t wait to try their other menu items, especially the desserts!

Find this food truck. Find this food truck!!! I just stumbled upon Haus of Brats in the Buffalo Exchange(Speedway & Campbell) parking lot and have even dreaming about it ever since. The Über Brat– filled with cheese and wrapped in bacon is a must. Get it with their warm sauerkraut, hot mustard imported from Germany, and drift off into wiener– in-your-mouth heaven. Truly authentic offerings, wicked fast and friendly service, and their rolls are to die for. I also got a $ 5 off coupon to Buffalo Exchange with my lunch :)

Yum-o! I love finding out where this food truck is going to be, usually through the Tucson Food Truck Roundup. Basically this is german carb fest awesomeness. It’s hard to get good service from a truck in my opinion, but(sigh) I heart food. I had the über brat, which is a cheese brat, wrapped in bacon, MAKESURETOGETTHEKRAUT! yum. The menu was small but you know what you were coming for. They had some great traditional mustards to choose from, just wish they were better labled so I know what I am getting into. These ladies know how to please the masses. Only thing I would love more is more kinds of brats! Faves: berries & cream(not sure what the real name is), über brat
