My first time here. Cool beach like decorations. Lots of space. Huge game on TV so it was super noisy. I want to go back for Happy Hour. The chicken wings with honey, coconut and pineapple were delicious. My hamburger was huge, with excellent meat and well cooked on a cibatta bun that was grilled. A bit on the spendy side but worth it. They have live music sometimes.

This place was quite a surprise and I really liked it. My son and I were searching for a place to have a late lunch after exploring the area. This place was just down the street from our hotel. It has a complete beach vibe and reminded me of places in San Diego, where I lived for a while. It was quiet and had a pretty good atmosphere. The server was very nice, although a bit soft spoken. My son ordered the BBQ chicken wings and a side of seasoned fries. He liked the wings and we both agreed that the fries were the bomb! Lightly seasoned and super crispy. and a lot of them. I love fish tacos, and it being taco Tuesday, I ordered 3: The battered, the Guyamas, and the shrimp. The shrimp taco was by far my favorite, full of flavor. The battered was my second favorite, and the dressing on it was delicious. I was disappointed with the Guyamas, as the grilled cod was quite dry and a bit overcooked. Also, the lime wedges served on the side were a bit dry, not much juice in them. If I lived in the area, I would probably go here often.

Fini’s Landing is an AMAZING place for breakfast!!! In fact, it is actually one of my FAVORITE places to eat breakfast! The menu is very Southwestern; as well as being varied and extensive. The food is always cooked to perfection! I especially like their breakfast burritos and huevos rancheros! Moreover, Fini’s Landing a great place to watch the game or to meet friends. It is actually one of the ONLY places that I’ve been to in Tucson that isn’t a «Meat Market«where a woman would actually feel fine just stopping in and dining by herself. The food is really great and the servers are terrific. Ryan is my favorite server and is not only personable, but really pays attention to what is needed at each table. The General Manager, Kenny, does an excellent job and totally sets the tone for the establishment. Also, the prices are quite reasonable — especially considering the area and the Happy Hour prices rock! I can’t quite believe some of the recent reviews here such as one woman stating that«in 2 hrs., she was never offered a menu at the bar.» WTH??? Can she not SPEAK??? If a bartender thinks you are only there to drink — ASK for the damn menu! If they forget, ask again or grab a waiter! Jeez! I have never had this happen to me nor have I seen it occur with others, so it just doesn’t ring true, as I have been at this restaurant bar at least 20 times in the last few months. It is one of my favorite places to unwind. The next time you are thinking of a place to eat breakfast or just a great happy hour place, you just can’t go wrong with Fini’s Landing!

Came to watch the game, grab lunch and have a drink. They didn’t have ingredients for two different cocktails on the menu. After agreeing to an accommodation the drink never arrived in 25 minutes. Alas not my fave outcome.

The food is mediocre, nothing that really stands out but nothing that tastes bad either. First day I was there the girl did a good job as a waitress. Since I was by myself, I decided to sit at the bar the next day. Big mistake. The guy behind the bar was the worst waiter ever, almost seemed like I killed his puppy or something. I couldn’t figure out if he was just a bad waiter or if I unknowingly offended him or something. Really unprofessional, I was planning on having lunch here for the next two weeks that I’m in town since it’s right across from the business they stationed me, but after that experience I left and will never set foot in there again. I found this great little Italian place right across the street with the nicest people you’ll ever meet. That’s where I’ll be having my lunch the next two weeks, so in hindsight I’m glad this happened.

Normally would have given this place at least 3 stars. Food is typical for a bar, but served hot and drinks provided fairly quickly. Stopped by tonight and sat at a table wife for 10 minutes, no service, no «I’ll be right with you etc. Was not crowded, but wait staff concerned with chatting it up with regulars at the bar. Been here before but will never return.

Horrible food and horrible service. Sat at the bar for two hours was never offered a menu or asked if I wanted something to eat. The bartender constantly ignored me I often waited over 5minutes for a new beer after asking repeatedly. Once I finally received my nachos they were over cooked and burnt. I would not return spend your money somewhere else!

In summation, a relaxing, beachy atmosphere with a 80⁄20 chance of some pretty great food. And I can’t forget the AMAZING view. The instant you walk in, you feel like you’re in a relaxed beach bar on a nice little vacation. It’s not an overwhelmingly loud, hotspot vibe, but it’s not full of grandmas playing bridge, either. It’s mostly just hungry adults eating good food(at a reasonable volume). The service can be hit or miss, miss especially if you come in anywhere near the final two hours of operation as you’ll definitely get the death glare from the staff from having the audacity to be hungry when it comes near time to close. Annoying, as I’ve worked in the biz myself and that’s part of life, but whatever. Just go for lunch or an early dinner. This is a GREAT place to get a casual beer after a long workday and just kick back. Like I said, the service isn’t particularly warm but they’ll guide you through any questions you have and make sure you have a great meal. My husband and I came here recently and had an awesome experience. When I say experience, I mean we came in and the vibe was good, the margaritas were classic and the food was satisfying. We didn’t opt for an appetizer this time but the choice of meals were excellent. I got the Jamaican Jerk Chicken, which I was a little curious about since it’s obviously not really along the theme of this place, but I was extremely satisfied. It came with a delicious wedge salad with a ton of flavor — cheese, chili, lime, and a few tomatoes which I typically don’t even like. I devoured it. I personally think the concept of wedge salads is bizarre and that they are annoying to eat but I loved it. The chicken was incredible, though. It came with a slice of pineapple, which really added to the vacation feel. It was very true to the jerk chicken style, warm and juicy and cooked to perfection. They don’t slight you here, either, as I had a giant helping of fries along with the salad and chicken. I was completely satisfied after my meal and kind of wished there was a beach to go out and lay on afterwards. My husband had an assortment of tacos — the carne asada and the la paz(beer battered cod) if I remember correctly. He said they were delicious. Two was enough to fill him up, and their taco list seems endless. Something for everyone. They even have their own hot sauces available for sale. We were extremely tempted by their assortment of house hot sauces for sale as they were EXCELLENT. Maybe next time. We left in a great mood after an excellent meal. Also note their commitment to local food sources — definitely worth supporting. The reason for the four stars instead of five is as follows — I just don’t think the service is amazing, first of all. It’s more of, «Hi, can I take your order, here’s your check, bye.» Maybe I’m high maintenance, but nobody seems that friendly or happy to be there, they don’t ask you how you’re doing or how you’re liking your food, and I might go so far as to say they just treat you like a paycheck. Not in a bad, awful service way, but just kind of cold and distant. Not engaging, I guess. Maybe that’s petty but I feel like a lot of Tucson restaurants work hard to train their servers to make their patrons feel at home, and I don’t see a lot of that at Fini’s. The other reason is for an experience I had ordering takeout. I came in around 9:15(posted closing hours being midnight) for a smoked salmon app(that other Unilocalers raved about) and the el perro guapo dog. I was treated like a massive inconvenience, told that they were closing soon and basically given the stink eye for even being there. Over two hours before posted closing time — unexpected. I had intended to dine in but opted for takeout for this reason. Note — thumbs down on the salmon dip. 1% salmon, 99% sour cream or mayo or whatever. Not palatable at all, unless I got a bad batch or something. The dog also came without any of the fixings and was pretty much cold when I went to eat it 5 minutes after I picked it up. Not enjoyable, so I would caution ordering the dogs as I don’t think they are a star menu item. Stick to the tacos or main entrees instead and go to el guero canelo if you want hot dogs. Final notes: jerk chicken is amazing, as are the tacos. Great hotsauce selection. Lukewarm service, Amazing atmosphere. I WILL come back and I’m sure I’ll have another great meal here. It’s just not the perfect place — yet.

Love the atmosphere, felt like I was on vacation in Florida. The chubasco fish tacos were the best I’ve had, they have lettuce boats instead for lo-carb option however too much lettuce for me. Salsa is very good and Tuesdays they have $ 2.50 tacos and mexican beer. Their barbeque beef is good as well as chubasco beans, habanero sauce is actuslly not too too hot. Good flavor. One of our local favorites and every time I mention to friends they agree it’s one of the better places in town!

My husband would be upset with me for giving Fini’s only 4 stars, but I just can’t do it. The location is nice. The food, however, is just OK — nothing bad about it, but nothing I would ever have a craving for. Good selection of items on the menu, so everyone can find something here. Happy Hour is pretty good, with both drink and food specials. I do have to give 5 stars to their key lime pie, though — best in Tucson that we have found. Very tart, no excess fluff on top, and a not-too-sweet granola-based crust. However, the server told us that it’s not made in-house, but Fini’s still gets extra points for choosing such a good pie to serve.

Fini’s makes me miss the fact that I moved away from the foothills and out-of-state before it opened. I thought I was taking my mom to an Italian place during a recent visit and was a bit hesitant when I drove up and saw it but we decided to go in anyway and I’m OH so glad I did! There was nothing about this place that I didn’t absolutely love. The atmosphere was spot on; beachy casual with some great décor and the menu was filled with all the things I absolutely love! I would love to taste test everything especially based on the other reviews. We happened to be there on a Tuesday so went for the dollar tacos and margaritas. Pretty generic order given the expansive menu but I certainly wasn’t disappointed. The tacos were amazing! Street taco more in nature which is what I prefer. I’m really looking forward to a trip back so that I can return to Fini’s and get some of the more eclectic, hard-to-get menu items that they offer. Great find!

Came here on a Wednesday and it was pretty packed. It caters to the older crowd on the north side of town, but a unique beach-bar setting – think classier Kon Tiki. Good happy hour specials. But the food is pretty bland. Our group split the salsa trio – no spice to either the salsa or mango salsa, and no flavor to the guacamole. The roasted corn on the cob should’ve been a highlight, but also just tasted like cold corn with no flavor to the aioli or queso fresco. Fish taco was okay, a little greasy, like they didn’t remove the excess oil after frying the fish. Their house beer is a little on the sweet side, but very drinkable with bar food. Our server was friendly and prompt and we filled up pretty well for $ 15. Might try again if I’m in the vicinity.

I find Fini’s to be a very unique scene for the North side of town. Alongside the high class and trendy places along sunrise, this surf-style dive offers a different feel. C and I went their on a whim on a weekday and were surprised when we walked in. This beach-bum décor was eclectic and the bar is shaped like a boat. Their menu was uniquely crafted and their beer list was pretty great! C ordered their hot dogs and I got one bean and guac taco(no cheese) taco and one«panga». I am unsure if a panga is something unique to Fini’s, but imagine a taco, but instead of a tortilla you have a grilled half-head of romaine. Pretty cool concept! Their food was good and they were open late. Fini’s nearly lost a star for poor service on our first visit. The bartender periodically sat at a nearby table and checked her phone and never had menus or anything readily available. We were one of 5 guests in the place and seemed like a pretty big inconvenience. I am happy to report though that we sat at a table 2 Tuesdays later(half priced tacos on Tuesday!) and received amazing service from Stevie! I am glad we got to be served by her before I gave this plave 4 stars. Good save, Fini’s!

In a town that has a million and one tacos offered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you should take the time to come check out Fini’s Landing. They have their own house-made sauce(Chubasco) which is fantastic. My personal favorite is the Habanero version — medium spicy(for me, I have a high spice tolerance) and VERY flavorful. It’s fantastic on whatever you happen to put it on. I’ve tried quite a few of their dishes, and they are consistent and produce great food each time. The La Paz fish taco is something I tend to order almost every time I’ve been here. Great little fried fish, tasty pico, and some yummy mayo-based sauce on top with a squeeze of lime and delicious with a TON of the Chubasco hot sauce. The San Juanico fish taco is terrific with a pineapple based salsa. I’ve also tried a grilled fish taco(decent) and their black bean taco with the pineapple salsa(awesome for vegetarians). I’ve also sampled their wings with the traditional buffalo hot sauce — they were surprisingly great. The skin was crisp and the meat was nice and tender. The buffalo hot sauce was more flavorful than hot but it was a very solid wing. We’ve also tried their Landing Nachos and the Loaded french fries which are pretty much nachos only on fries. Their guacamole is solid, and the pico has a good balance with the savory and acidity aspect. The servings are large for these two items. My husband has tried a couple of the burgers, which are always cooked to temp correctly and he says they are solid burgers. He’s also tried the fish sandwich and really enjoyed that. I’ve tried, for their lighter fare, a couple of their salads, and they used fresh ingredients. They offer their salads in half and full sizes which is great — I typically am good to go with the half size. One of their best dressings is a house made one — the vinaigrette is flavorful and delicious. Service can be hit or miss — typically it’s on the more solid side, but sometimes it can be a little spotty. That tends to be when it is filled to capacity so do take that with a grain of salt. Check them out on their Taco Tuesdays — tacos and Mexican beers are on special. In a town that has a million tacos, these are definitely great and worth checking out!

I’ve been on the hunt for another place to fill my crazy taco addiction. I found heaven«Finis Landing» this hidden gem is worth the drive from my place. Must tries the dockside Ceviche and Jamaican Jerked Chicken. My buddy ordered a Gulf Stream Sandwich, I tried and it was loaded with different flavors(in a good way) But it tasted nothing like my tacos. The place was very busy it had a nice vibe and the architecture is amazing especially the awesome bar that is shaped like a boat. 5 starts to staff did a wonderful job in getting our orders out on time and being very attentive. Will be back to try all the tacos on Menu!

Only the promise of free food will get me through their doors again… I’ve eaten at this restaurant two times now. The first time, I didn’t find anything on the menu I wanted to eat as it was mostly fishy based and I don’t like much seafood. So, I ended up ordering dessert for my dinner and had their molten lava cake. The second time I ate at this place, it was a Saturday afternoon. One thing I HATE about any ‘dining out’ option is when you’re made to feel like the unwanted cousin at a backyard wedding. What I mean is — You walk in and have to seat yourself. So if all the tables in the tiny place are full, then you and your party are left standing by the door looking like idiots. Quite uncomfortable. Another aspect that makes you feel like the unwanted cousin: the service. POOR. Our waiter the first time was ‘meh’ quality, but our waiter yesterday(if you can call him that) was pretty horrible. He acted completely annoyed and bothered that someone dared to sit in his section. I guess my party should have sat in the Hooters section with the skanky bleached blonde waitress wearing a low cut tank top and yoga pants to work in. At least she gave a nice fake smile. The prices are quite absurd for the quality of the food. If you order a burger, like the people in my party did, you have to also order a side of fries or coleslaw or one of the other 2 options. So, two of us ordered fries, imagining that since a side of fries is priced at a whopping $ 4, we’d get a butt-load and be able to share among the 3 of us. Boy, were we surprised! I had 21 measly fries on my plate, and my husband had even fewer than I did. We did order the chips and salsa, and the chips were good, I admit. The salsa was mediocre. Regarding the molten lava cake — Firstly, be careful when reading the dessert descriptions on the menu as they are backwards and that error was obviously overlooked in the haste to get this place up and running. Secondly, the molten lava cake is nearly entirely similar to a dessert you’d find at Applebee’s or Chili’s, etc., that is popped out of a package, zapped in a microwave, and then plopped on a plate. At least at Applebee’s you get ice cream with it. Here, it just sits in the center of the plate as if it’s something that can stand on it’s own, like it’s THAT good. It’s not. I would say this venue probably thrills pompous male golfers who think they’re the shiznet and want yet another place to go ogle young blondes who aren’t their wives while they drink and boast of their power and wealth and scheming. I realize many folks will vehemently disagree with my review on this, however many folks are influenced by an idea more than reality..
