I was without heat during a COLD spell here in Tucson. I have a home warranty plan and called them on Sat evening. I didn’t hear anything back until Mon morning. I would not be able to get an appt until Wed!!! Well I wasn’t very happy about this at all because it was COLD!!! I decided to contact a company that could come out same day and go for the reimbursement option. Goettl came out and I paid $ 79 for a diagnostic of my furnace. They told me it would cost $ 592 to fix the problem (which was a hot surface ignitor) when I contacted my home warranty plan, they said they would only reimburse $ 110 for this problem. I did NOT fix it because this difference in price was insane!!! I went back to waiting on Desert Star that my home warranty plan assigned my claim to. I didn’t really want to wait 2 more days but sucked it up and waited. On Wed morning, this company came out, fixed the issue in about 30 mins and we had heat again!!! Yay!!! The repairman was very polite and respectful. I was very impressed and would use this company again! That other company are crooks!!!

I really wanted to like this company because it has such great reviews everywhere. Unfortunately, I was not super happy with them. The inspection itself was okay, but a few problems:
1) just because I have a husband, don’t assume he owns my home;
2) just because I’m a girl, don’t assume I lack a brain, and barely look at me in favor of only dealing with my husband;
3) if you notice a problem with the air unit, don’t take pieces out that you can’t put back in (melted and warped) and force us to do without air in 100+ heat until we either pay you to fix it or go buy the parts to do it ourselves;
4) don’t say you’ll give us a list of the inspection results, and leave off the very things you specifically said would need servicing (and why).
