This place charges extra for topping making a big about it. And won’t give you anything extra. And the manager sucks

This one has many memories and has been around for about 30 or so years. Consistent and quality desserts every time.

The employees sure reflect the surrounding neighborhood. This joint is GHETTO ! The Wife and I were craving some delicious ice cream so we decided to give this location a try, low and behold once we ordered the employees did not want to accept my 50 dollar bill. Instead of being polite about the situation, I was told«we don’t take 50’s, take the sh** somewhere else to get it broken… We will keep it in the freezer » … First off, this was a rude way of speaking to a customer … Secondly, why would you put a hot fudge sundae in the freezer … I will never go to this location again. My day was ruined .id highly recommended the 4th avenue location.

I really like this Dairy Queen. We used to go to one down in Green Valley whenever we went on a big shopping trip, but it recently closed. This one was in our usual route so we tried it, and I’m actually glad for the switch. It’s clean, the staff are friendly and also very competent. We usually get a Moolatte and Milk Shake and often in the last one we went to, they weren’t always mixed very well. At this one they’re always mixed very well and always taste great. I do regret it only has the ice cream and none of the chicken strips and similar items, but I’m still really happy with this location! It’s now a regular stop on our shopping trips.

This is very similar to your typical DQ. The only difference is there is an Orange Julius. They have all the yummy blizzards and DQ treats.

I’ve been coming here since before it was renovated(was it burned down? knocked down? it happened so long ago I can’t remember). Here’s what I love about this Dairy Queen: 1) The owner makes her employees hustle and they still manage to be nice; 2) they take credit for an ice cream cone; 3) it’s been around since my dad was a kid(graduated Amphi class of ’64); and 4) they know all the old recipes that aren’t on the menu anymore. Support a local business that’s been in Tucson since before you could say chocolate dipped cone and treat yourself to an Old-Fashioned Strawberry Soda. You’ll thank me.

Ok, I’m mildly embarrassed to be writing this review but all my cards on the table, sometimes when the going gets tough, I go to Dairy Queen. And the fact that this location… 1. is open till 10pm 2. takes credit for $ 2.50 3. has smiling happy people every time I’ve been(don’t judge me!) is enough to make me get on Unilocal, pull up a chain, a chain who’s soft serve certainly isn’t the best in town, to write a review. I wish we had a bunny hutch a la Lincolnwood, IL(old stomping grounds), but until then, a mini pecan cluster blizzard is going to have to do. And this place does the trick!
