I feel like I’ve made quite the discovery, coming across this little hut! I must have driven by it a thousand times before I thought twice about it… however, since having my son(now a toddler), coffee has become MUCH more a part of my life and therefore I’m always looking for a decent cup at a decent price. That’s really the rub, isn’t it? I can name a dozen good coffee places, even some places with not-so-good coffee, and you’re going to spend as much as entire meal on one cup of caffeinated goodness. I’m irritated every time I get a $ 5 bill for one espresso drink… but you know what? I still do it! And of course I want to buy local, but frankly it’s hard to find someplace that makes a drink as good as Starbucks. Until… A few months ago I’m driving past Cosmo’s. I don’t know why I never noticed it before, but this time the sign out front stating«Coffee for .99 and add a bagel for a buck.» Hmmm… coffee and breakfast for $ 2, what in the what? Of course, I didn’t get a coffee, I got some $ 4 connoction that was delicious and awesome. It wasn’t cheap, but you know it wasn’t expensive either. It was probably about $.50-.75 less than most other places for a comparable drink. But the best part?! A bagel for a dollar more! WITHCREAMCHEESE! I really want to insert some stream of excited expletives here out of sheer joy. But I won’t, as you might be reading this out loud to some impressionable toddler. I’m already having to spell cuss words out to my husband(my kid is going to be the one who goes to kindergarten and tells the teacher«S-H-I…») but I digress… So for $ 6.18 I get a large mocha, a bagel with cream cheese, and a $ 1 tip for the great service I always receive. At Cosmos, for the price of a meal I’m actually getting a meal, plus a drink, plus paying it back a little on the friendly barristas. Cosmos, you’ve got a loyal fan!

I’m gonna level with you, I was very suspicious of a place that has such a high 5star rating from people with less then a handful of friends. It screams SHADY!!! Like a land grab for reviews. So i checked it out and i dont agree with this 5 star at all. My GF’s latte was nasty, it tasted like it was processed syrup or poorly made. My smoothie did not impress me as there were no fresh ingredients to it and was not made on site in any kind of proper fashion. Although sometimes that can be a guilty pleasure, i did finish it. We ordered some tamales and the size and flavor of them puts them at $ 1 too much. They were depressingly small and were a bit dry as if they were microwaved and not steamed, the batter was a bit bland but the chorizo was tasty. The building looks camouflaged against it self and does not stand out, i wish it did because it lacks identity as a brand, but it does look snazzy clean. The steel flower art vases out front where a nice touch to the place, although it does lack a properly shaded seating area. Moving along i would have given this place a 3 but these suspiciously positive comments need to be addressed.

This place is great, so happy the moved in close to my office. The coffee is delicious — I am a huge fan of the lattes. No flavor needed, they are good as is! My favorite thing about this place though is the S-E-R-V-I-C-E. Cosmo’s gets it right. The place is drive-thru only, and there is never a line. I’ve been caught in a Starbucks drive-thru for 15 minutes, this won’t happen at Cosmo’s. The staff is SOO friendly and passionate about what they do– you can herar it come through in their voice through the speaker. Then when you pull around to the window they greet you with a smile and ask how your day is going. I was having a crappy day once and a trip to Cosmo’s totally improved my mood just because they were so nice. You just don’t get this kind of service anymore, especially in Tucson. Cosmo’s is one of the few places left that seems to really pride themselves on a quality product and pleasing the customer. Never going back to the grumpy a-holes at Starbucks in Barnes & Noble again!

Favorite place to grab a drink, and not jut coffee! They can do a wide variety of coffee based beverages as well as others. Nothing beats the heat like an iced Moroccan Mint tea!

I am so glad Cosmo’s moved into the neighborhood. The coffee is always excellent(I would not expect anything less from Raging Sage coffee beans). The specialty drinks are expertly made and the employees are fun and get you through the drive through quickly. I prefer Iced Lattes(or hot when it is cold out) without sugar or any fancy flavors… but if you are into the fancy stuff w/syrups and whipped toppings, Cosmo’s has that too. He has trained his entire staff well, so it doesn’t matter who is brewing the pot, pulling the shot, or mixing your fancy drink, you can trust it will be delicious.

tasty coffee with good service and so much better than corporate coffee! They perk your cup fresh, they use Rage in the Sage coffee. Only negative is there isn’t a sitting area for casual cups of coffee. Go there get local.

While I was sad to see Krispy Kreme depart(before I ever got to stop in, too — doh!) I’m always happy to see a locally owned coffee spot open up. I love me some Starbucks, but I also love supporting small java places. Cosmo’s…they had me at hello.(And the free cream puff that came with my latte the first time I stopped in.) We’ve stopped here several times since then and have been pleased with the quality of the coffees we usually get(large iced Americano & a sugar free skim vanilla latte), the quickness of service and the fact that I have never seen a line form. Now that’s service!

I’m a major coffee freak. Going in to work at 6am on the daily, places coffee at the top of my morning priority list. Moving to Tucson several years ago, I started working at the Intuit what a great surprise it was to learn there was a coffee shop on campus. Cosmo’s was that shop and I cannot stress the addiction they sparked. Top of the line customer service matched the smooth concoctions brewed by Cosmo himself. Two years ago, I began working from home where I’ve been forced to adapt to a small espresso machine with sub par grocery store coffee… had to fuel that addiction somehow. How excited was I to learn Cosmo was opening shop outside of the office building closer to my home. Now i have only visited Cosmo’s Espresso Coffee & Tea a couple times in these months, but I can honestly this place has lived up to the reputation Cosmo built with me. Great customer service at the drive through window has never lacked and my new addiction, the Iced Americano, shines a spotlight on the superior coffee used at Cosmo’s pulled by obviously knowledgeable Batista’s. In my stint locked in my home office, I have become accustomed to that harsh bitter taste over roasted coffee can take on and though I love the kick, the cloyingly acidic taste always leaves me craving water. Cosmo’s coffee is smooth, sweet and provides that kick I’m looking for. It seems every pass I’m offered a free cookie or a sampling of delicious cake, and if I wasn’t counting my points, id be taking advantage of the locally baked confections to go with my delicious Americano. If your looking for coffee and within a 20 mile drive of the Park Mall area… stop by Cosmo’s…their coffee, tea, or smoothie concoctions will no doubt leave you wanting more.

Awesome coffee drinks, refreshing smoothies, and yummy goodies to go with. My classic favorite has been a dark chocolate non-fat macadamia nut mocha. My recent favorite is peanut butter chocolate soy frappé… YUM!
