This place is crazy overwhelming. And yet, I feel like I never find what I want or need. I try to stay out of this place whenever possible(i much prefer ordering from Amazon for kid stuff). Plus, unless you’ve got coupons I find that they tend to be overpriced. Still worth it for select specialty items but, on the whole, I prefer Target or Amazon.

If I could give negative stars I would. Called regarding a exchange for in-store store credit went in and Valerie denied us. We have spent considerable money for a new child and to have her treat us so rudely guaranteed our departure from their store permanently! Save yourself go to any other baby shop than this one.

This review is mainly for Lorraine! I am located in the Phoenix area and found out that the furniture set that I purchased has been discontinued. I already have the crib and dresser and was in search of the changing topper. I called 3 stores in my area and a store in Fresno, CA none of which had the topper. Each store had looked for the item that it showed in stock only to tell me they had sold the item, which was fine. They then gave me the phone number to another location. When I finally reached Lorraine in Tucson she was shocked that everyone had me call around instead of doing the foot work for the item themselves and getting back to me. She took my information and got back to me immediately to let me know she had found the item and was having it sent to the location closest to my home, in which they would contact me when it is in. She also went ahead and ordered the crib conversion kit that I will need in the future so I do not have the same issue since the line is discontinued. That item, she stated, will be delivered and ready for me to pick up at the same location in 8 – 10 weeks. Excellent customer service on her part! Give that girl a raise! Not only did she do the work for me, she saved me from having to buy a whole separate changing table that would have cost me a minimum of $ 20 more!

I recently had to get a gift for a friend’s baby shower. I checked out her registry from Babies R Us and noticed they offer in-store pickup for online orders. I figured I would order the gift online while I was at work, then swing by later that evening to quickly pick it up. Score! Unfortunately, things did not work out like that. I walked into the store, which is kind of run-down looking for a store that sells baby/children items, and there was no clear sign directing you where to go to pick up an online order. Not a big deal– I just got in the regular checkout line. There was only one cashier on duty and she was helping someone. A woman, who seemed to be a manager, came by and asked if she could help. I told her I was here to pick-up an online order, and she directed me to the customer service counter. She said the cashier would be right with me, and she was going to run back to check on my items. I ended up standing at the customer service desk for almost 10 minutes before the cashier finally got on the phone and called to ask about the status of my order. Then, she got off the phone, opened a cabinet next to the customer service counter, and pulled out my order. Wait, what?! You just made me wait 10 minutes for something that was literally right next to us the whole time? The girl was nice and apologetic, but I would have rather just had my stuff faster. I ended up spending about 15 minutes in the store for something that should have taken no more than 5 minutes. It probably would have been quicker to just go in the store and shop the ol’ fashion way versus online ordering.

Meh, I have definitely experienced better. This store in general doesn’t seem to have good good customer service. The staff isn’t the most friendly, nor were they that helpful. Which is pretty odd, being that it is a baby store. The inventory is pretty good. The baby registry setup is very easy as well. Wish there were more options in town.

upon walking in the door i was promptly asked if i needed assistance and the girl showed me the item and suggested the one that costed less and needed no cartridges so i save money she gave me several 20% off coupons and was very helpful no issues whatsoever

When I first walked into this location, I got the feeling like I was entering a ghost town. I could see no employees and wasn’t quite sure if they were open or had just forgotten to lock the door. This Babies R Us location is clean and well lit and the registry printer is close to the entrance making it easy for those of us without babies to locate it quickly without feeling awkward. I love that the aisles are free from clutter and generally it seems to be well stocked. While I was looking for one registry item an employee did pop up and asked if I needed help locating registry items. They also were able to print two gift receipts for me as I was shopping for two friend’s upcoming baby showers.

This store is a much larger and better stocked option than the one on East Broadway. Clean interior and helpful staff balance out the positives on the store. If you have never been to a Babies R US, there is likely a reason. If you’re new to the whole«soon-to-be-a-parent» thing, this store is a great way to see a lot of different products all side by side. Nice to compare, right?! I’m sure I’ll be seeing a lot more of this store in the future….
