Guy just gave me the service of a 5star restaurant. Great job and food was cooked to perfection

Worst customer service ever !! We came here for their shakes and it took over 45 minutes for us to get 2 milk shakes !!! Worse experience coming to a fast food joint! Never again!

I decided to treat my son to a kid’s meal and I ordered an hotdog. We waited for 20 minutes then when the food arrived the food was ice cold and completely wrong. I complained about wanting a refund all of the employees didn’t seem fazed by my response. Please don’t order anything from this location!

I ordered from one of their drive up menu boards. I placed a relatively simple order… onion rings and a hot dog. This took over 15 minutes. Miraculously when I started to drive off a server runs out of the building with my order. He was FULL of excuses as to why my wait was so long. .they were training somebody, that person kept messing up orders… etc. They proceed to give me ICECOLD onion rings and a luke warm hot dog after a 15 minute wait. If my order was messed up… WHYWASITCOLD. I thought your low rating was a bit harsh… but it was well deserved.

Customer Service — 5 Stars Fast Service — 5 star Quality of Product — 5 Stars Truth in Advertising — 1 Star I finally checked out Happy Hour at Sonic where all shakes any size are«half off» after 8pm. I ordered the Large Oreo Chocolate Shake, a 32 ounce wonder made of crushed oreos, vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. Very thick and creamy. Nandi, my server was very nice and friendly. My only issue is that«half off» is not really half off. Instead of taking off 1.99 off the 3.99 regular price of the shake, only 1.75 was taken off. So I ended up paying 2.40(2.24 + .16 tax). I gave Nandi $ 4.00 and told her to keep the change. It’s minor issue when you are getting such a large item, but when businesses advertise half off, customers expect truth in advertising and this is not the case for Happy Hour Large Shakes at Sonic. For that reason, I dropped them to 3 stars

I normally only stop if he’s craving a hot dog or corn dog but this is definitely not a regular spot. The food was descent not really something that makes you feel like you have to come back. I do prefer how they wrapped(bagged) their sandwiches compared to the normal fast food. I’m never waiting long and I always use my card so I don’t have to worry about the previous«change» problem. Not all of the waiters are on skates so that’s a bummer. Don’t forget Happy Hour I always do lol

I came here for a quick breakfast burrito since my yoga class was going to start in 20 min. If I had known that my definition of quick was different than this Sonic’s definition I would have kept on driving! As soon as I pulled up and saw the 4 cars sitting in the drive thru, I should have listened to my gut and left. Unfortunately, I was only listening to the part of my gut that was screaming for nourishment. I placed the order for my simple burrito and waited. And waited. And after 10 minutes, I pressed the buzzer again and asked if I could cancel my order since I HAD to leave. The guy persuaded me that it was on its way out the door as we speak. Keep in mind that it’s Sonic’s and you can see the kitchen from your car. But I waited… for another 10 minutes! During this time, the other cars parked near mine were also getting vocal with their wait time. One even left too. It was ridiculous! After all that waiting, I was late for my class. Nice Sonics… really nice going there.

As a concept, this establishment is a cute idea. In practice, it falls short. I mean, who doesn’t love the idea of a 50’s style drive in eatery? No one, that’s who. However, the food misses the mark, and I think that’s where it goes down hill. If you eat beef, and like fast food — then perhaps this is the spot for you. But for me, as someone who doesn’t eat beef(or pork) — there are few options on the menu. Even many of the«chicken» items come with bacon. And those options that are available to me are not ideal. A chicken sandwich that is both burnt and on soggy bread? Ew. The only redeeming factors I’ve found are the cheese sticks. I have a soft spot(in my gut) for cheese sticks. They also have good drinks: shakes, blasts, floats, tea, limeaide, fruit slush, and smoothies. But can drinks alone redeem a place that has missed the mark? Methinks not.

I had to take a star away from Sonic. A new trend is starting there that I don’t like. Basically, the people dropping off your food don’t want to give you change. The first and second time this happend, the total was 2.13 and I gave them 2.25. I was asked if I wanted my change. I didn’t want to seem like a total cheapskate so I let them keep it. Last night, I stopped by there and again, my total was 2.13. I gave the guy $ 3 and he asked me if I wanted my change. YES! I do want my change! I thought it was kind of ballsy of the guy to ask me this. In normal situations, I’m a pretty good tipper. I regulary tip wait staff 15−20% and have been known to over tip if the person is really awesome. BUt wait staff make $ 2 an hour. The staff at Sonic does not work for tips so I don’t feel like I should tip and I sure as hell don’t want to be guilted in tipping. I’m still going to go here because sometimes you just need one of their cherry cokes, but I’m going to use my debit card from now on or have exact change.

The reason why I feel that this restaurant only receives two stars is the fact that I have eaten at sonics at other locations and have received better service and food quality than at the Tucker Location. the first time I went, it wasn’t even busy and I had to get the manager out to change my order three times! Seriously, how can you mess up a cheeseburger PLAIN! Anyway, after spending an hour up there waiting on such a simple order, I went to the Wendy’s down the street! The two stars are for the convenience and location of the restaurant.
