Kinky Peaches

I went to Kinky Peaches for a big chop during the summer because I wanted something different. Serriah did my big chop and after she finished my hair it looked great! she was able to see my curls defined and it appeared beautiful
However, after a week later i noticed that my «big chop» wasnt necessarily the healthiest cut. All ofmy curls dont curl in small areas and some ends are frayed where it looks as though they weren’t cut properly. I dont feel comfortable with the level of service I’ve received and even after contacting them via text, which is is their preferred method of communication, they didn’t even respond.
i did have the pleasure of interacting with Monique, after some troubling experiences but she helped with that, so no need to re-​hash it. But, i probably wouldnt reccommend this place to a friend for a big chop. Wasted $ 60.00 for hair that may end up damaged anyway if I dont have someone else take a look at it and trim the pieces I have already paid to have cut.

As a follow up to the comment posted by the owner below, that is incorrect and not true. I told the Stylist I did NOT care how much she chopped off and wanted a true Big Chop. I actually went to another stylist later, Aliah at 2 S.W.A.G salon and re-​did the big chop. HANDS DOWN THE BEST NATURAL HAIR STYLIST IN ATLANTA. Try booking a reservation and see for yourself. Had my hair washed, conditioned, steamed, trimmed and twisted. It was a really relaxing appt. I am still getting compliments and the best part is my hair looks and feels so healthy. My stylist gave me lots of tips to make and keep my hair healthy.

I was so excited when I saw pictures of my friends after they went to this salon. I purchased two Groupons for me and my daughter to get our hair done last year. I still have never received a call to schedule our appointments.

I was able to use my Groupon voucher! It was a long wait but well worth the wait. My stylist was so gentle in caring for my hair. Mimimal hair loss! She was better at detangling my hair than me, no tugging, pulling, ripped hair… I am nervous to allow hair stylists touch my hair because so many of them are so rough but not here. I got a perm rod set and it turned out perfectly! All of my questions were answered patiently and knowledgeably. Great conversationalist! I cant wait to go back! The only downside was the lack of abundant parking :-(
