I found Charla from a Groupon deal. I needed to locate a stylist quickly because my normal stylist was unable and I was going out of town. Charla was very unprofessional and did not give me the respect I deserve as a new client. Her Groupon states that she handle natural hair. That is not the experience I had. I have been natural for over 6 years and have has many blow outs done by many people. She did not handle my hair as if she knew much about safely dealing with the curls of black hair without damaging the hair. She did things that go directly against how natural hair should be handled. Like instead determining what type of hair I have and how it needs to be handled she blow dried my just a bit then put me under the dryer causing the roots of my hair to dry while still in its curly state. After that she proceed to comb through those dry stiff curls with a small tooth comb.
The Groupon deal I discussed with her did not include a cut. I did not want a cut. She never actually had a conversation with me at all once I got to her chair. This should have been a sign to me that this was going to be a problem. After she did a horrible job of blowing out my hair and flat ironing it she started to cut my hair. At no point was there a mirror I could actually see the progress of my hair. I was not even given a mirror to check the final results when she was complete. By the time I realized that she was cutting my hair without permission it was too late she had already started. She did not trim my ends, she totally cut my hair into a different style including bangs! When I told her I don’t want it cut she said a trim is including and continued to cut. there are not enough words to express how displeased I am with not just the style but the service I received.

I had my hair done in this wonderful shop and I must say; I was more than pleased. I called and was able to quickly get an appointment with Charla Jones. She was professional and in my opinion, a master stylist. All of the stylists in the shop were very friendly and I observed that they all were great at what they were doing. They specialize in weaves, color, cuts, and styles of every desire. I highly recommend this shop and will be going back every time I visit the Atlanta area especially since every place I went people complimented my hair.
