Consistently great tasting burger. It’s a relief to simply say one word and everything is taken care of in an order. Love the soda fountain. Fries are great as well. It’s on the expensive side, however.

Where’s the Beef? I’ve been a regular here since it opened and have become less enchanted the last year or so as the burgers have shrunk by about 30%. Overall I like the concept and the staff is friendly but you need to decide if you’re selling a «burger» or a slider. For me it’s not about the money so much as having you guys as a brand live up to your promise. You’re brand is dis-integrating and so will your customer base if it hasn’t already. Turn it around guys!

I usually have a good experience here. The employees here seem to enjoy working here and are very friendly. There was only one time where they messed up my order. I asked for a burger without a bun(which is an option that I love since I’m low carb.). They forgot my order but the manager offered me a milkshake(which I wasn’t able to have because I’m lactose intolerant) but then refunded my fries. I really appreciated that they were willing to go the extra mile in order to make things better. The one time that I came during lunch(during the work week) it did take a while but it was Election Day and there were a lot of other diners there.

They have good burgers but way to high priced. 2 burgers one fry and 2 drinks was almost 25 dollars. To me that’s crazy! The staff was nice and the place was clean. just way to high on prices

Very friendly staff and in my opinion the best burger and fries! The good part is it’s cheap too for the quality!

The employees here are always so nice, helpful, and seem genuinely happy to be working here. I love coming in for the atmosphere, so it is even better that the food is killer. I always get the cheeseburger with A1, mayo, and grilled jalapenos. The burger is always perfect, amazingly seasoned and delicious. Burgers can be hard to make equally wonderful every time, but after a few dozen trips over the last few years on lunch breaks with co-workers, I have yet to be disappointed. That says something about not only their food and quality control, but also the business as a whole. Highly recommend giving it a visit. It’s worth every penny.

My son loves burgers and this place! Frankly I think it is overpriced and lacks atmosphere. We share fries as they are a very large serving. Appreciate the free peanuts to take the edge off as one waits, plus it keeps one occupied.

Terrible tiny patty that was dry. French frys were soft and smothered in oil. No flavor at all in any of the food. Very over priced.

I usually get a little cheeseburger with various toppings and split a regular order of fries with my boyfriend. The people who work there are typically engaging and funny. Our last visit had us talking video games with one of the guys on the line. We had just been at GameStop and picked up a few games. Plus you are usually greeted/acknowledged as soon as you walk in the door. I always find myself munching on the free peanuts too just because they are delicious. The food isn’t gourmet, but if you want a step up from regular fast food joints and would rather have something freshly made in front of you then this is a great place to go. Also, they give you a TON of fries. We always do the regular size between two of us. You get the cup full of fries plus an extra scoop. Probably no need to order separate sides of fries unless you’re really really hungry!

I don’t get it, I guess. Lots of people love this place but after several tries I just don’t see the appeal. The burgers and the toppings are nothing special. I like all the topping options that are all free — that is cool. The fries were decent but I have had better. Is it just me or is this place overpriced, too? I had a little burger, a little fries and a regular Coke for just under $ 10. If I am sitting down at a restaurant with wait staff, I’d have no problem with that price, but for what is basically fast food(just a tiny step above McD’s), $ 10 is too much. I don’t know if I’ll be back …

Highly recommended. One of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten and great fries to boot. Very casual. Nobody has to feel awkward about anything whatsoever or their doing it wrong.

Small fry still works for 3 people. New touch screen soda/water dispenser offers lots of variety for drinks. Great burger and fry fix!

There are a lot of things I appreciate about 5 Guys Burgers and Fries. I like that when I first walk in, I can tell it’s a place that prides itself on cleanliness. It’s so bright and clean even during busy lunch hours which is great to see. I love the selection here as well. I love that you can get a smaller size burger, and my boyfriend can get the larger size. I love all the various toppings you can add, and that your burger is so customizable and tasty! My absolute favorite part of five guys is their fries. I’ve never had their regular fries, only the cajun fries. Hands down best fries I’ve ever had. Love them! They are so addicting. Nice and spicy, tasty, FRESH and made to order. Oh and even the smallest order is enough to feed an army. I like the inside and how large and inviting it is to dine in with the pop machines, and various condiments, and free peanuts while you wait. They are also extremely timely and I’ve never had to wait too long for my order! Great place for fast and tasty food.

I’ll start off by saying that these burgers are not the holy grail that is In-N-Out, but I’m a fan nonetheless. If there were In-N-Outs in Michigan, I would still eat at Five Guys every so often. These burgers are pretty basic but still really good! I like that everything is made fresh. The difference between the regular burgers and the«little» burgers = ½ pound of meat vs. ¼ pound of meat. I always get the little cheeseburger, which only comes with one kind of cheese: American. After experimenting with various condiment combinations, I’ve found that I like lettuce, tomato, pickles, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, and either mustard, A1 sauce, or hot sauce(which is not very hot). I’m not a fan of the jalapenos because they are regular raw jalapenos as opposed to pickled or grilled. Same with the green peppers; they’re just raw green peppers… although the last time I went, the lady at the cash register asked my boyfriend if he wanted his green peppers grilled. The grilled mushrooms and grilled onions do get kind of annoying because they are chopped up and tend to fall out of my burger as I’m eating, but I do like grilled veggies on burgers. The fries are not the most consistent. Sometimes they are perfectly crispy; other times they are a little mushy. Luckily, I like both kinds. The cajun fries are far superior to the non-cajun variety(or «Five Guys Style» as the menu calls it). One container of «regular» sized fries is enough for two people. While you are waiting for your burgers, you can eat your fill of free peanuts. Those with peanut allergies should probably stay the hell away from this place. I haven’t tried the hot dogs but am kind of tempted. UGH, now I really want a little cheeseburger STAT! Too bad they’re closed right now.

My husband had been telling me how much I would really like the fries here, but we kept putting it off because it is REALLY unhealthy food and some days we try to eat vegetables and whatnot. He is right about the unhealthiness level, and that’s the only reason I’m deducting one star. The«regular» burger involves two patties, so I can only assume that the«little» burger has just one. We both got regular burgers and they were cooked just right, juicy but not greasy at all. I’m really picky about what goes on my burger so I LOVE that you get to ask for what you’d like added to it rather than having to try and get them to leave stuff off(if I had a nickel for every drive-thru that gave me unwanted mayo, I’d be rich). I also love that you have some fun options like mushrooms and sauteed onions, you don’t get those everywhere. As a few other reviewers have said, the«regular» fries is enough to feed about 4 very hungry people. I have a serious fry addiction and even I couldn’t finish half of our order. If you want to get fries, bring several friends to share them with. They’re really quite yummy fries, too! They taste a lot like the hand-cut carnival style ones, I love them. This isn’t gourmet food and probably won’t satisfy big burger connosieurs, but I thought it was a real treat and I’ll be back!

I finally made it over to try out Five Guys this past week. At first it kind of reminded me of a Fuddruckers type place when I walked in but without all the video games and goofy stuff on the walls. The food however was worth stopping in for, but they really could have not poured about 20% more fries into my bag when I already had a ordered a large. I acutally liked the fries more than the burger, which was pretty average and something you could get just about everywhere.

I was super stoked to finally be checking out this place, and I’m sure the guy behind the register could tell. When they found out we were«Five Guys» virgins, they all yelled«Hi Kate!» I loved it. The same guy that took my order came up and gave us crayons and blank index cards to draw on while we waited for our food to come up, which took no time at all, but just long enough for me to write«Burger!» in block letters with a sky blue crayon and eat a few of the complimentary peanuts. I’m no burger connoisseur, but that was one of the best burgers I’ve had. Not in a fancy restaurant kind of way, but in like the backyard BBQ kind of way. The difference between the Cheeseburger and the Little Cheeseburger is the number of patties, regular having two and little having one. Now that I know better, I’d just get the Little version because that was A LOT of burger for me. The Little would have been plenty and maybe I wouldn’t be desperately wanting a nap at the moment. Let’s cut to the fries. I got a «Regular» Cajun fry, the small size, and I’m not exaggerating when I say they gave me at least 4 potatoes worth of french fries, if not more. It could have been 6 even. It was a lot! They were overwhelming, but delicious. I don’t think I’d get the Cajun the next time, but I’m glad I tried them. It was just too much of the same thing, I think. All in all, I was more than satisfied with my lunch at Five Guys Burgers & Fries, and I’ll definitely be back. Chain or no chain, they know what they’re doing.

Let me start by saying, I do not eat beef, or pork, therefore my review of their burger is more my friends reviews. In the past week I have been to five guys, 3 times, last week Wednesday was the first day I had ever been or heard of Five guys. Since it was a snow day, we were literally they only people there, knowing nothing about five guys, I was skepitical at the fact that we were the only ones there. The staff was friendly, taught us the menu and how to order, it reminds me of in and out burger. My boyfriend ordered the double patty cheeseburger, and I ordered the grilled cheese with pickles. We then split a fry. I was secretly please to know 4 guys were making our meal, like our own five guys army. Anyways, we sat down peanuts in hand, awaiting our food. Are you supposed to throw the peanuts on the floor? When we got our food I was in love, even though I merely had cheese slapped between to backwards buns, with pickles, it was buttery, and flavorful. My boyfriend LOVED his burger, and for less than 13 dollars for both of us, it’s outstanding! The fries are great to, thick cut, super tasty, I love that you can top your fries with malt vinegar. I was so impressed, i knew my friend Chris, who is a total burger guy would love this place, so literally the next day we went back. This time however the place was packed, every table was full, and there was a line to order, for how busy they were, we still received our food in record time, and again I ordered the same thing, and he ordered a double patty cheeseburger with just tomato. His response was«This reminds me of boardwalk food, and I would eat here everyday.» Today my third visit, was equally as busy, and just as fast, this time I mixed it up and ordered the veggie grilled cheese, super fresh and tasty. Long story short… maybe because I wasn’t hyped up like the other reviewers, I was pleasantly surprised! I will defiantly be returning, and for the price, it is truly fresh, fast, and fun.

Five Guys for 5 bucks. Good deal if you’re in the market for guys and/or burgers. My friend and I went here the other day, finally succumbing to the pressures of our work friends. My only other experience has been the soggy fries my friends had left over at work. The paper bag was nearly clear from the grease, so I knew it had to be good. I got the regular burger(2 patties) and my friend got the small one(because she’s a girl). The woman who took our order saw our bewildered looks when we walked in and showed us how to order. Very nice. They have some cool toppings like A-1. They also have some peanuts you can munch on while waiting to gorge yourself. The fries are fantastic and have that old-school just-chopped feel to it. As for the looks of the place, it’s not too pretty. Lots of white with splashes of red all over with seemingly no standard typeface to their marketing. Yes, I am being a pretentious graphic design geek, but nuts to it, it looks weird. Anyway, service was quick, burger was good(not as greasy as the myths go), and the prices were pretty good. $ 11 for 2 burgers and fries. Also, they have Mr. Pibb, which is like Suburban crack.
