Best Western Plus Franklin Square Inn Troy/albany

I arranged for a room over Christmas for my daughter who lives locally but was between housing. She went in prior and talked to them about the fact that her 3 children, ages 3,5 and 7, really needed to beleive that Santa came there for them. WOW, did they go above and beyond! They put the children’s gifts under the lobby tree and decorated a (conference?) room just for them for Christmas day! The staff could not have been more kind, thoughtful and accomodating! It is also conveniently located to the downtown area with shops and restaurants and the wonderful Sunday Farmer’s Market. Their room was clean, adequate in size, and to boot, at a very good price. Will definitely be using this place in the future.

Average facility in downtown Troy. Staff was friendly and attentive. Room was clean and a bit smaller than I’m normally used to. Water pressure was adequate. Temperature control worked just fine. Breakfast was very poor, due to burned eggs, cold potatoes, cold rubbery ham and turkey links. On the second day I at breakfast at the local deli. I could have stayed elsewhere for half the price but decided the location was the best for what I needed to do. I would have stayed at the Hilton Gardens, but they were full. If you’re on a budget, this is not the place for you.

We got married at the Franklin Plaza this past Memorial Day weekend. Best Western Plus in conjunction with the Franklin Plaza were absolutely amazing. The customer service was excellent. Leslie accommodated us and all of our guests in every way that is possible. She was super friendly as were all of the staff. The hotel was very clean and nice. This was the best experience of my life between Franklin Plaza and The Best Western Plus. I will always highly recommend them to everyone I know! Thank you so much for an amazing wedding weekend Franklin and Best Western!
