Timberlee is the best place in TC to showtube! Everything is great from the lodge service to the kids helping on the hill. Jonathan is my personal favorite — his positive attitude is second to none! The bartender has a heavy hand(perfect for post tubing) and so friendly. I wish I lived in TC since childhood so I could enjoy more Timberlee adventures!

I am from Texas and we visit Michigan twice a year to snowmobile and snow ski. We have a cottage in honor. We were looking for a place to snow tube and we ran across this location. The location was very clean and well kept. The pizza is really good and they have a bar. Now let’s take about the bar. The bartender was cute as can be but she was very limited on bartending skills which made ordering drinks really fun. She didn’t crack under pressure and she did her best while keeping a cute smile in her face. I would go back just to tease her at the bar. Now on to the tubing. At first the line that carries you up in the tube broke so of course everyone had to go back inside so of course I hit the bar again. About 45 minutes later they were up and running again. As a courtesy they extended us another hour of play time. We went down the hill about 6 times. I like going down in doubles with a spin. So much fun. I would highly recommend coming for pizza, drinks and some down hill tube action.

I was driving with my brand new fiancée down M22 and we saw a sign for snow tubing, so we punched up Timberlee Hills in Google Maps and made our way over there. The«banquet hall» is pretty sad, but I don’t know how comparable it is to other options in Traverse City. The main attraction is a sweet snow tubing hill. I think we paid $ 12/person for an hour of tubing action. Their website says it’s $ 14 for one hour or $ 24 for two hours with a $ 1 discount per person if you pay cash. Select your tube, walk over to the lift and a guy will hook you to a cable. When you get to the top, you have to roll out while another guy removes the tube from the cable. Find a spot you like, wait for the employee to give the all-clear, then go racing down the hill at top speed! It’s tons of fun and you can do lots of variations. Go down while you sit, go down lying on your stomach, face-first, go down with your tow rope tying you to a friend’s tube, ask the guy to spin you. There’s endless fun to be had here. Within my one-hour time slot, I went down seven times. This is a fantastic, family-friendly way to burn an hour or two when you’re in Traverse City. Highly recommended.

I was recently married and I have to send mass kudos to Yvonne & her staff for making our day a wonderful event. Everything was beautiful and my parents had many phone calls that following week raving about the food! Other comments from guests ranged from the food to the ambiance, lower cielings made for a more intimate event, the low light in the room made for a nice intimate feeling as well. Thank you Timberlee Hills
