I needed a bang trim while up north for the summer, and came here because of the positive Unilocal.Bang trims are only $ 5, and Emily did a wonderful job of emulating the style that I already had and liked. In and out in under 10 minutes, with a friendly attitude and a view of the bay included. Looking forward to returning for a full cut the next time.

Researched through the Unilocal community and found Salon Verve. It is set off the Bay, so there’s lots of natural light as you get your hair cut/styled. Nikki was my stylist and was attentive to what I wanted and offered suggestions before she pulled out the scissors. She’s such a pleasant personality and a talented stylist. My cut suited my natural waves. Thank you, Nikki!

As other reviewers mentioned, first thing you notice is no strong smells. Second is the smiles of the staff. The third may be all options available to you from hair care to makeup to nail care to massage — all using good for you products. The staff is also so proud of and active in their community. Emily is my stylist and takes great care of me and my hair. She has a great eye for taking your hair to a better color and cut without a major change. Great staff, products, and location. I am so proud to be a client!

Heather is the best! She has been doing my hair for about 5 years, and she recently moved to Salon Verve, and I definitely followed her! Even though I’m a seasonal resident, I travel to Traverse City from Chicago as often as possible in the winter to have Heather take care of me! Five stars!
