We reserved on line… then the rain came. The shop was very kind and let us cancel. We came back a few hours later with the sun shining. The bike are excellent, helmets provide and we were off with a few easy directions. Had a great afternoon of riding. Thank you

Worst service I have ever had took my bike in, that I purchased from them for the same problem twice made me wait over a week both times and when I went to pick it up it still wasn’t ready. I would not buy a bike from them again or recommend anyone else to.

Rentals were about 35 for a full 24hrs. They adjusted the bike specifically to you… so it’s hard to share bikes. Bike helmets were complimentary. One of us in the group had brought our own bike and happened to have a problem with the brakes… one of the employees happily took a look at it and helped fix it for free! We were so appreciative.

We rented 2 Specialized cruiser type bikes today. 21 speed w/soft seat & upright handlebars. I give them 3& a half stars overall. 5 stars for the quality & maintenance of the equipment! Also $ 23.00 for a full day is very reasonable. I give them one star for service. The staff started to argue over who would wait on us. No one seemed to be in charge & no one wanted to wait on us. They got us the bikes, but we had to ask for helmets & a map which are included in the rental. After we were several miles away, we realized they forgot to give us a lock. Also, there web site is excellent & very easy to use. I reserved the bikes on their website the night before.

The customer NO service is top notch. I was ignored when I walked in upstairs. Then after I chased someone down — was told to go downstairs. Well, downstairs I got to watch someone eat a slice of pizza and 3 other employees ignore me until I spoke up for the 3rd time about renting a few bikes. The teen associate acted as if I was of bother to him and that turned me off. I took the bike right back and walked over to the store next door. They were rude!

The guys in bike service are awesome. I had picked McLain Cycle to meet up with a seller on Craigslist so that we could get a professional look over of the bike for sale. The guys at McLain helped me understand what the bike had going for it and what were some problem areas. Although I am sure they wouldn’t want every craigslist bike transaction to happen at their store, in this case they were able to offer their services to me and make me a new customer even though I did not buy one of their bikes. My wife’s family also has all their bikes serviced at their shop.

Great customer service! My dad and I just rented two fabulous road bikes for $ 25/day and they even threw in free lights so we’d be safer riding at dusk. They helped us revise our route so it was safer and less windy(taking Bluff Rd instead of Peninsula Dr up to Mission Point). I would come back here for a bike rental any day!

I wish I could remember the guys name so I can give him Kudos for his excellent customer experience. I walked in looking for a quick fix to a quick release problem on my GF’s bike wheel. We were only in town for the weekend. While I was in the shop waiting, the same gentleman also let a couple of riders use some tools to fix a bearing problem(No Charge) because they were so booked up. I dug that. Back to me, I was looking for a simple washer and it wasn’t available(sucks) so I was thinking I had to buy a new quick release. I asked if they had any used ones laying around and boom one appeared for me for the very reasonable price of $ 5 bucks. Boom! Sold. McLains Cycle use them!
