We keep trying to give Staples our business but every single time there is horrible customer service. I placed an order 11⁄3 via the staples website for graduation invitations. The order was guaranteed to be ready 11⁄5 by 6:30pm. I got an email and call at the last minute telling me they don’t have the double sided glossy paper that the website gave me as an option. The woman on the phone told me that I would come in to the store to choose either thinner glossy paper or only one sided glossy paper, neither of which is what I ordered. Even though they barely contacted me less than two hours before the order was supposed to be ready, she expected me to drop everything I was doing and come to the store if I wanted it by the guaranteed time. I asked the lady on the phone if she could get the paper elsewhere or if another staples had it and she said no. I called Staples customer service and they called the store and found out that the store simply ran out of that paper and they normally carried it, which the store didn’t tell me. Customer service also informed me that another store could in fact have the correct paper and that I could order it online and have it shipped to me and I would be reimbursed for shipping. I then went online and tried to order the invitations and have them sent to me only to find out that particular invitation could only be picked up in store. So, I had to order it again and pick up the order in another city(also not something the initial staples told me I could do). This whole experience has been a poor one and Staples failed to meet the written guarantee to have the product I ordered on time. The Tracy location failed to notify in a timely manner that there was an issue, failed to correct the issue, failed to give my all my options, and failed to make good on the staples guarantee. I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

I could not believe how unprofessional this store is. I had to drive 30 min to this store because they had something I wanted in stock. I got there at 6:25pm on Saturday July 25 thinking I had plenty of time to pick up the item I needed. When I arrived the doors were looked and the store hour sign was taken down. I know there closing time is 7pm. I happened to catch an employee coming out and he said sorry we are closed so I started asking him what there hours were. He said the had to close early because they didn’t have enough personnel to run the store. I cannot believe how unprofessional Staples has gotten. I can see why they are having to shut some stores down.

It’s the copy and print center that I had issues with. I went in on a Monday. To make 17 copies off of my flash drive. She said it would take her two hours because she had other projects. Okay. I asked her if I could come back in on the next day, Today. She said fine. She was in a rush of course. I left my flash drive with her, paid ahead of time and returned today. Which the prints weren’t ready, and the flash drive just left in the computer with no notes. So it was shoved in a drawer. Yazmine was unprofessional and rude. Left no notes for the next day. Chris was there today, he apologized and printed them off within five minutes. As the only office supply store in Tracy, is my only option for now.

I had a transaction in Tracy the other day and needed copies of some documents. Unilocaling/googling office supplies the only one that showed up was Staples. No Office Max or Depot in Tracy? Well, it all worked out for the best since I was going to be in the area eating lunch at the Olive Garden. So off to Staples it was. Walking in the copy center is quite evident towards the left side of the store. Two associates were busy helping another customer that had some sort of a printing problem. But I was acknowledged right away and told that they would be with me in a minute. The associate that helped me was very friendly and efficient. I told her what I needed and a minute later everything was finished! I certainly would use this Staples again if I had a need and was in the area!

I absolutely hate going to this store. First off, they close at 7pm. Secondly, they hardly have any good items, and third, the entire staff needs to be replaced. Not one employee deserves their pay check. As soon as you walk into the store, they tell you«we close in 20 minutes». They don’t ask if you need help. I feel bad for the store manager. It seem like all the dumb Tracy kids work there. They need to be replaced with robots.

The copy and print center is a complete joke. Twice I have received an email confirmation that my order is complete so I drive out to pick it up and it’s not done. The service team manager is so nonchalant and clearly doesn’t care about customer service. Although, there is one guy in there that’s very kind and helpful. Just hope you get him.

This location(specifically the UPS shipping center) is horrifically unorganized and staffed with incompetent humans. I stopped in to ship a few packages(Sunday Nov 30th) and it took 30 minutes to get someone to help me and then another 30 minutes to get the packages properly labeled. The packages were supposed to be delivered by EOD December 2nd. After learning the packages never arrived I tried to track them using the numbers on my receipt. Turns out the tracking numbers were not valid because the packages never left the store. When I called for an explanation I was told«Umm there was like a problem with a number or something but they will ship today». Eloquently put staples employee… I then asked what the new delivery dates would be and was told«I don’t know and I am kinda busy with other customers at the moment.»(silent scream) I called back later to speak to a manager and he was equally as clueless and snippy to boot. I still have no idea when the packages wIll arrive. GETITTOGETHERSTAPLES.

I’m pretty certain this location shouldn’t be in business. It looks like a tornado tore through the building and they haven’t cleaned up from it. It also reminded me of the local Macy’s – it’s tiny. They had very little in stock and I’d be concerned about having something shipped to the store for pick up there. They’d probably send it back or lose it.

Sucks this is the office store around. I’ve walked into this store multiple times and have walked right back out completely frustrated. Not only do the employees seem to be absolutely clueless, but they never have anything in stock that I need. They should consider putting in a petting zoo so people actually have a reason to waste time there.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced so far! They had refused to return or even exchange the dysfunctional product and told me to contact the manufacture and even so they refused to give me any information and wanted me to find it myself. The store manager goes by the name Jorge Romero and unlike any store manager I have seen is willing to help the customer and just escalated the situation with his bring an smart ass attitude. Never buy anything from here! They won’t take faulty products back! They won’t even help you with information about the manufacturer! The new staples location is great BUT the team was a disappointment. .we were in there for 30 minutes searching for an item and when I asked an employee where it was they replied with an Isle number that was not even relevant. searched longer went to ask again and no one was around it was weird. waited at the print station and the lady called someone to help us and we finally walked away cause no one ever came to help. There were things on display stands still boxed up with a paper on it cause they didn’t finish putting it out. kinda disappointed with the customer service.

Not all staff was approachable. Some were in conversation and didn’t stop to see that I needed help because I was waiting for them to finish their conversation… Aunt wanted to get a bookshelf but apparently only some Staples carry furniture in store like the Manteca one, the lady sales associate told me. As we left, one girl genuinely said have a nice day. Therefore, two stars.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Staples was still up and running. After visiting Michael’s next door, my girls and I headed over to Staples. I just wanted to wander around, but they did have the Mr. Sketch markers that my twins had been bugging me about all week. That purchase completed the items needed on their supplies list. There weren’t very many people in the store. The merchandise was very organized and the store was clean. I was waiting in line behind one person and an employee opened up another register to ring me up. It’s a nice store to have around to be able to run into and pick up your office supply need. Hopefully it won’t have the bad luck like other big stores and stay around for awhile longer.
