I decided to stop by for a coffee, the cashier ended up giving me a cup that was reusable and a free cookie, great customer service and rapid service

As a New Yorker in Maryland I have a hard time finding quality bagels. Einstein bagels does not live up to what a bagel should be like. It tastes more like 3 slices of white bread smushed together and then made into the shape of a bagel. Nice try Einstein Bagels but I’m going to pass

Had a very good experience there this morning. The food was good, the location was neat and clean, the employees were polite and friendly and the service was incredibly fast. We didn’t even have time to walk away from the counter after paying before our breakfast sandwiches were ready! Solved the mystery of the employees-only bathroom mentioned in one of the previous reviews too! There are two sets of bathrooms in the place; one set is for employees and the other is for customers, although this morning everyone was using the one not marked employees only. I would definitely eat here again.

I will say that to the chains credit, the food was just fine but there is something to be said for a place’s cleanliness and service. I pass by all the time now and my memory of the kinda grimy dark atmosphere overshadows any craving for bagels.

Staff does the bare minimum amount of work to keep their jobs. No friendly greetings or goodbyes. The landscaping on the exterior of the property is very neglected. I remember 5 years ago it used to be kept up very well. There are now waist high weeds growing next to the outside dining table. The bathrooms are now locked with«employee only» signs posted. I couldn’t even wash my hands before eating. It seems that the place must be under a new management now and it is seriously gone down hill. There are plenty of other breakfast places to go to, Einstein Bagels in Towson shouldn’t be your first choice, or your last choice.

Stopped in for bagel and cream cheese. As always polite service and it was quick. I like this place since its not packed and I can get in and out I want and quickly.

I love this chain, but this location is a bit run down and dirty. The service is a bit slower than other locations. I will say they are polite and I have never had a major issue with my order. Just disappointed by the interior mostly. It could due with some sprucing up.

Why does a place have something on the menu but rarely has it? Bagel dogs are more rare than the hope diamond. Grrrrt

this restaurant is the dirtiest thing I have seen in a very long time. outlets do not work for computers, crumbs on every(empty) table and all over the floor. should be out of business soon.

I like yesterday’s coffee as much as the next guy, but paying for it is another story. Also, my wife’s sandwich fell out of the bag because it was poorly packaged: fun!

Einstein Bros. is no Zabar’s, but they make a solid bagel. I’ve been coming to this location maybe once every six months for the last several years, whenever I have a bagel craving but am not going near any legit delis. I’ve never been really disappointed in the bagels; I always feel pretty satisfied with my purchase. A few trends have appeared to me over the years. First, ordering is confusing. There is one register for bulk bagels and sandwiches, and another for coffee, smoothies, and payments, and you have to go to both, but maybe you can only go to one depending on what you’re ordering– it’s not really clear, and the line is a jumble. Second, almost every time I’ve been there the coffee and iced tea self-serve dispensers have been empty and I’ve had to notify them and wait forever for the employees to refill. Third, this place is usually crowded– which explains the drink refill wait. Either it’s super crowded or totally empty. Fourth, the staff are generally very courteous and helpful, even in the middle of a customer surge. Einstein Bros keeps early hours. They close at 5 or earlier, which is annoying when I have the occasional dinner-time hankering for a bagel sandwich. But I guess they wouldn’t usually have much business in the evening. They also have occasional coupons in local mailings, so that’s nice.

I got a coupon for $ 2 off a lunch sandwich so I figured I’d grab something quick one afternoon. I ordered the Turkey BAT(hold the bacon because I don’t like it) and

Nothin special, blah and boring staff that made it seem like a chore to do their(and like I was bothering them by coming in). The everything bagel sandwich I got was mediocre at best. I won’t be going back any time soon that’s for sure.

Let me start by saying that I’ve always LOVED Einstein Bagels. I truly think they have the best bagels and cream cheese and the coffee isn’t bad. Recently I have been going to the one in Bel Air and it is consistently great. This morning I was in Towson so I went to the one on Goucher Blvd. I haven’t been there in a few years but used to come on a weekly basis. The place was so dirty it was absolutely disgusting. The floors were filthy, there were spider webs and dead bugs in all the window sills. My son had to use the bathroom and as he walked toward the men’s room another customer warned me not to let him go in there. He said«that place is destroyed.» So I took him in the ladies room which was filthy. The other issue is the service. When I used to come to this Einstein Bagels there were always several college students and a manager working. This morning at 8:00 a.m. there were two young girls working and one was obviously training because she just stood there and followed the other girl around. I was in a hurry and ordered two bagels with cream cheese and a coffee. The one girl who was actually doing work then proceeded to wait on all of the other people behind me(and there were several) including taking their orders and then going to another cash register to ring them up. It took at least 10 – 15 minutes to get 2 bagels. The half and half creamer was also empty and I purchased a container of their bagel bites that are already packaged and they were so stale and hard they were inedible. Whenever I’ve purchased them before they are soft and fresh and delicious. I am so disappointed. I guess I will be skipping Einstein from now on unless I am in Bel Air. Oh, I almost forgot. When we were leaving a woman came in and had a basket with cleaners in it and began walking around spot cleaning. I’m not sure if she was just late or what but she needed to do a whole lot more to get that place cleaned up.

So surprised at the speed of service, given that the morning rush is staffed by only two people. Great coffee, but no lactose-free options for creamer. That is honestly my only consistent complaint with this chain.

Great place! Einstein has the best bagels. Plus, their staff is efficient and on the ball. I had to order bagels for an event I was going to, so I placed the order the day before and had only a few minutes to drop by and snag them the next morning(which was why I was pre-ordering). I was nervous that my order wasn’t going to be ready… but it was and it was 100% correct! I was in and out of there in less than 5 minutes! Their shmears are the best and they also have great breakfast sandwiches and coffee!

I enjoy a good bagel maybe every 2 years, but while this place tries to offer variety it just isn’t my cup of coffee. It was nice to see more options that just eggs available to put onto my bagel. Many times when driving by this dud location, it looks closed or rather closed down. Einstein seriously needs to relocate closer to the mall to benefit from the business they could receive, but maybe it’s good for them. You’ll be surprised when you go in and see a decent crowd sitting around enjoying their breakfast items, sipping coffee, or wasting time. It seems to have its loyal patrons though. The décor is modernized, clean, cozy, and offers multiple seating arrangements. I assume the bagels are cooked fresh everyday, but who’s to know the truth unless your an everyday advocate. Anyways, most of the options on the menu are healthy yet fresh, low calorie, with small portions. They also offer about 5 different flavors of fresh brewed coffees claiming to be 100% Arabica(pictures posted for this too) and Sun Chips. It is great for the people trying to watch their figure, cholesterol, and calories, but I like to have breakfast and at least feel satisfied until lunch time. While attending, I noticed the various cream cheese shmears as they call them, and they sounded pretty tasty, haven’t tried those yet. There is a decent bagel selection too, unless you come late and they may be out of a lot of the good options. I ended up getting the Club Mex Signature Sandwich… consisted of my choice bagel(Asiago), turkey, pepper jack cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onions, and ancho mayonnaise. I posted pictures of this final creation before and after I took a couple bites. It was quite good, but like I always insist a couple more slices of meat wouldn’t hurt. Since, it was a «healthy» bagel sandwich that’s what you get and it was edible. I ate it all, especially because someone else bought it for me, what a treat! Keep me healthy huh? Lastly, the indulgence and dessert of this trip and the business for me are the Cinnamon Twists. Basically, twisted sticks cooked crunchy, and sweet, cinnamon, with a drizzle of frosting. I would return again, but I’d need the extra money to make sure I have lunch and dinner, so I don’t starve all day long.

Location Location Location is the first rule of real estate. Clearly the owners of Einstein Brothers Bagels on Goucher Blvd didn’t get that memo. I enjoy the breakfast grub here so I go out of my way to stop here when I’m in the area. No it’s not the cat’s meow or anything but at the price and the quality it can’t really be beaten. This place could do so much better if it moved about 100 yds east or west.

Well, I hate to be the bearer of good news, but my first experience at Einstein Bros Bagels was good! I have drove past this place approximately 1,038 times and never actually went inside. As a matter of fact, I really thought that this place was on the verge of closing down due to the lack of cars I see in the parking lot. Nonetheless, I decided to give Einstein Bros Bagels a shot. A benefit of this place is the fact that the serve breakfast foods late into the afternoon. When you have those days where you don’t get up until 1 in the afternoon(like I did today), its good to know that you can come here to get some type of breakfast. I ordered the Bacon, Egg & Cheddar sandwich bagel( ) and a Blueberry bagel. The sandwich bagel was good and was eaten quickly, maybe because I was pretty hungry? My only gripe is that the sandwich was $ 4.65, which is steep for a sandwich that would be much cheaper anywhere else. The blueberry bagel, which was $ 1.05, was nice and soft to eat. If not for the prices, this would be a default spot to come to for a breakfast sandwich. Until then, this is just a place to come to when all the other places in the area close up their breakfast menus for the day.
