I too had a negative customer service experience. I called to see if they carried walnut for a project i’m making. The guy who answered literaly laughed out loud into the phone and said-​we dont carry wood… aaahahahahaha this is tool city and hung up. What a weirdo.
FIND ANOTHER PLACE FOR TOOLS SINCE THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE ARE EXACTLY THAT — TOOLS.

Couldn’t find what I needed at Rockler (4÷19÷13). Rockler suggested I call Tool City. I was hoping/​expecting to get the same friendly, helpful service I’ve come to rely on from Rockler. It’s not just WHAT you say but HOW you say it. Let’s just say the tone wasn’t very welcoming and I’ll just spend my money elsewhere. Disappointed before I event stepped in the door.
