Their pizza lunch special is awesome and they deliver in a reasonable amount of time. The pizza is delicious, and I love the variety of toppings. Great place!

Where to start… 1. We placed our order through Eat 24… Although it was a Friday night and most pizza places are busy. There’s no reason why our order should have taken nearly 2 hours. 2. Fettuccine Alfredo w/Chicken on the side(I’m a vegetarian & my husband is not): this had to be the worse alfredo I’ve ever had. It was extremely bland. I had to add stuff to it just to jazz it up. My husband stated the chicken was gross. When I order food from a restaurant I shouldn’t have to add stuff to it to make it taste better. I might as well have cooked myself. 3. Garlic Cheese Bread: not good and chewy from sitting too long in the container. 4. Minestrone Soup: veggies were too soft for my liking. I like my veggies in soups to have a little bit of a bite to them. Flavor was again bland. 5. New York Cheesecake: not good. Certainly will not be ordering from here again. Perhaps we ordered the wrong items off the menu and they are better known for their pizza. Just not worth trying again.

I love this place. We have been disappointed with the pizza places around here and decided to give this place a try. We’ve had it 2 times so far and we have been very impressed. one time we had a lot of family over and we fed them all for a very reasonable price. The pizza has very fresh ingredients and the crust is thin and the perfect crispness. My sister ordered pasta primavera and everyone sampled it and commented on how yummy it was. The house salad is fresh and not just iceberg and a couple of tomatoes. It has green leaf lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes and olives and pepperocinis. The delivery this last time came 10 minutes before they predicted so that was nice. Try it out you’ll like it.

Great new york style pizzas. Awesome chef salad. Quick delivery and nice drivers. Highly recommend the gourmet pizza and the bbq chicken pizza.

Good flavor but it took 1.5 hours to be delivered and the crust was chewy like it had been sitting in the box too long. A friend told me how good it was so i was excited to give it a try. Bummer. We were disappointed.

This area is in desperate need of a GOOD pizza delivery place(sorry Bonello’s and Rizzo’s, but you don’t make the cut). Piece o Pizza, to my surprise, actually has pretty good pizza. Fresh & flavorful. My only complaint is that the bottom crust tends to be pretty soggy and my pizza always seems just slightly undercooked. I’ve asked them to give my pizza a few more minutes in the oven, and it came even MORE underdone than before. Now I just heat up my oven and broil it a few extra minutes when it arrives. My husband was not a big fan of the wings(he said they were too salty) and I thought the salad was pretty lame. So, maybe if they worked on their sides I could give them one more star. Delivery has always been quick(within 30 min).

Never been there or even seen it-well maybe have but was not paying attention-i found it on Unilocal because I was sick of the usual pizza hut dominos papa johns pizza, I wanted something different and/or better. I ordered a delivery. large pizza for my boyfriend and I because there was a coupon, we got sausage mushroom with minced garlic and it was sooo good. I’m a HUGE fan of garlic i like to be able to taste it and they did a good job. Hot wings were good too. Delivery didn’t take too long, transaction was quick. Overall awesome!

Ordered a Gourmet pizza and The Fresh Mozzarella — it took well over an hour for delivery, we were told 45 – 60 minutes. The Gourmet Pizza was OK but the other one was definitely NOT the Fresh Mozzarella. It has Pepperoni, Jalapenos, onions, Cilantro, and NO Mozzarella! We were too hungry to wanna call them back and correct the order, but we didn’t get the correct order.

This family-run business makes a great thin-crust cheese pizza. Not the best customer service(not very friendly or enthusiastic) but the pizza is worth a try, especially for the price. Order the XL as it is smaller than your average L pizza. Happy eating!

Italian salad was great, nice and fresh. Balsamic and ranch dressing were both good. I loved the thin crust cheese pizza. Perfect amount of cheese and sauce, which I’m really picky about. The crust had good flavor and was properly cooked(a little crispy but still chewy). Only complaint was that the hot wings were tough and overcooked. I love spicy but they were too hot, like they had been marinaded too long. Great prices-Delivery was fast and polite. Look forward to trying new items next time.

About a week ago I ordered a pizza from this establishment expecting edible food and instead got a pizza that was obviously tossed around in the back of some kids Honda, an attitude about the fact that my order was demolished, and a beyond flippant response when I called in to let someone know what was going on. The pizza looked delicious, too bad it wasn’t edible. The BBQ wings were okay but I ordered hot. And the mozzarella sticks were lukewarm and disappointing. I used the Eat24 function available here on Unilocal and I’m wondering if I’d have fared better by calling in my order instead. Regardless, I’ll never do business with these folks again.

Overview: Piece O Pizza & Deli is a small casual Italian restaurant in Torrance that serves and delivers a very wide variety of pasta, pizzas, sandwiches, calzones, salads, and much more to the South-Bay area. The Food: Fairly overpriced, and simplistic. My $ 8.50 deluxe calzone here was not much more filling than a $ 2 combo slice from Costco as the calzone is mostly air. That being said, I really enjoyed how they provided the tomato sauce in its own plastic container because I love me a saucy pizza and I know that the calzone would have been quite messy had they just stuffed it with sauce. The texture of the calzone exterior was nice and dry but lacked a certain«chew» that I prefer with my calzones. I enjoyed the flavor balance of the innards with the bell peppers, onions, sausage, and onion but it all tasted very«standard» which is not necessarily a bad thing for people who don’t enjoy adventurous eating. The Service: As I had a delivered meal, I can’t fully comment on the service. I can say that my meal was still at a good temperature when it arrived, but no utensils were provided. The plastic spoon in the picture below was scrounged from a random drawer at work. Conclusions: Piece O Pizza & Deli is an run-of-the-mill Italian restaurant in Torrance that offers an incredible variety of Italian food items for both dine-in and delivery. The value is low in my opinion, and the food lacks creativity, but I would still recommend it for Italian-food lovers who are picky eaters.

If you have lived in the area long enough to you will recognize this is where Rizzo’s used to be, well at least it’s half of the old place. I was looking for something different to try and found this on Unilocal. This is my third meal here so here’s my review. The pizza is very good and the prices are great! They don’t skimp on the cheese which is always good when it comes to pizza in my book! The free local delivery is great and fast. So far I’ve had pizza twice, buffalo wings and a sausage sub. The wings were very tasty and the sub, like the pizza had plenty of goey melted mozzarella on it to go with the tasty marinara sauce. For myself, one of the top qualities I look for is how I feel after. So far so good, no indigestion and no running for the toilet. The former tenant almost always gave me indigestion so I stopped eating there. Piece ‘O Pizza hasn’t been open that long but I hope they get a good stream of customers to keep the doors open.

Ordered the Hawaiian style pizza for delivery. Came out to be a little over $ 11. Pros: Good quality ingredients! Delicious!(definitely one of the better ones esp for the price) Cons: Delivery took slightly longer than anticipated. About an hour. Pizza was not hot when received. Will be ordering again!

The only reason I’m giving 2 stars and not 1, is because of all the food I ordered, only the pizza can stand on its own as awesome! I ordered the XL pizza with ham and pineapples, hot chicken wings, pastrami sandwich w/fries, carbonara fettuccini, and fried zucchini. The pizza is fantastic. I was hesitant because they call it a New York style pizza, but their«XL» seemed like a regular large pizza. BUT when I took my first bite, I became an instant fan! I’m not usually a fan of pineapple on pizza, but my family loves it. The pineapple they use on their pizza is very fresh and sweet. The ham isn’t salty at all, and the cheese is the best part. It’s literally like string cheese. Really good! The chicken wings are spicy, but not too bad. You can also order them as BBQ’d wings. In one order, they put 10 along with a generous container of ranch dressing. I liked it. The pastrami sandwich was too salty. I didn’t like it too much. I also thought they could’ve added a little more. Just saying! It came with fries, which I asked for«extra crispy». They came out like regular fries. Such a shame because they had some good fries that would’ve been awesome crispier. Now the carbonara fettuccini wasn’t good at all! The pasta was drowned in alfredo sauce! After a couple of bites, I grew sick of it. The bacon they put in it, is yummy and tasty. I normally order carbonara at other establishments, and I in addition to bacon, often see green peas, onions, and mushroom. All I saw was a few pieces of bacon. Too much sauce, not enough bacon, and no veggies. Maybe some like that, but I wasn’t a fan. The fried zucchini gets the worst review. I can tell it was fried from frozen. I don’t understand why a fresh zucchini couldn’t be cut, battered, and fried, FRESH by order? I got 4 or 5 pieces for $ 4.75 + taxes. I took a bite and the breaded outside, comes off immediately, but my bite couldn’t cut the zucchini. The middle was just like a fried veggie, that had been frozen. For the price, totally no good! The customer service was excellent. They’re friendly and very nice. They tried to complete my order quickly. With my order, they didn’t try cramming everything in one bag, and they were generous with any condiments, napkins, and plasticwere, if I needed any. It was terribly hot inside though. They have ceiling fans, but non were on. Not sure if they have A/C either. There’s a tv(wasn’t on), but I’m sure you can request. It’s pretty clean too. They offer lunch specials for the pizza, calzones, and pastas. The two items I ordered as lunch specials, came with canned sodas. I know I’ll be returning for the pizza, and my family might try the salads and calzones. For sure though, not the zucchini or pasta.

The food here is average but their lunch specials are cheap and they have free delivery which makes up for it. The first pizza I ordered from here was fine but I really didn’t care for the second. It was paper thin. I like their salads, they’re made with romaine and are fresh.
