I needed to get a passport photo taken and was impressed by fellow Unilocaler Helena H’s review. The store is located in a huge strip mall on Hawthorne Blvd next to a Subway. Actually, better directions would be to say that it is to the left of the Sears Outlet store, since it is much easier to recognize from the busy street. My passport photo experience literally took 7 minutes. I walked in, and was greeted by an asian gentleman. I told him that I needed a passport photo, and he showed me to the back room where there already was a stool and white backdrop. He took 2 photos, then told me it would take 5 minutes to develop. After 5 minutes, he cropped the pictures up to standard passport size and handed me the two photos in a small manila envelope. $ 13. 7 minutes. And I was able to get on get on with my day.

Walked in, told them I needed to get a passport picture taken. The gentlemen was just finished with a gal and had me come in. Took seconds and I was done. He said it was going to be 20 mins to get these developed. It was quick and painless. Paid $ 13 for 2 photos. The sign said it was $ 11.99 for 2 photos(w/CD or Email). Not sure what the CD part is for. And I figured it was tax that added up to $ 13. I didn’t question it. I was in a hurry to get to the post office before it closes.

—THISISFORFILMDEVELOPMENTONLY— This is my go to spot when developing rolls of film. They have different methods of developing photos: prints, negatives only, and formatted for cd(which is most convenient for me). The prices tend to vary depending on which method you choose, but never goes passed $ 10. The time frame isn’t even an hour, it usually takes about 30 – 45 minutes! Super quick. The only downside is they only have a C41 processor, so if you’re looking to develop other types of film you may need to go elsewhere. Overall, this place is quick and and affordable. Highly recommended when developing film!

I came across this place when I dine in at subway next door. I have kept this place in mind just because all other business like CVS Costco and Walgreen seem to be more public and printing or taking pictures become a show to others. This place is basic so don’t expect a fancy place but it gets the job done at a decent price. We took 2 passport pictures for $ 13 one pose great quality and fast printing. I agree with other Unilocalers staff are helpful and welcoming. Great location it’s a shopping center with lots of parking spaces easy to find.

After two tries and two denials sending in Photos for my Canadian passport renewal I found this place. I went in and was out in less than 20 minutes with two sets of photos which have been approved for my Canadian passport. The Canadian requirements are exceptionally strict. I had tried calling the consulate to see where they suggested I get the pictures done and I never got through!!! Grrrr. Sooooo tried Photo world and am happy to say everything went very well. Thank you!

Nice and friendly staff! I am so glad they still develop 35 mm film without sending it out. The turn around time was quick!(counter clerk told me 40 minutes) the print quality was great! I shot film on a camera that was older than me and will return again when I’m done with this next roll of film.

Steve is amazing. Besides being the only 1 hr photo around, his service is well priced, his scans are high quality and he’s always on or even ahead of schedule. I highly recommend Photo World for any of your photography needs. A+ Love being a costumer here.

I needed a specific passport picture in a digital format 2×2, 600 pixels and Costco, Walgreens and CVS could not help me. Then I found this photo shop and they assured me over the phone that they can do it. In about 5 minutes I had my picture taken, edited on the computer with the requirements I have and copied on a CD. Could not ask for more. The service here is extremely fast and very friendly. Highly recommended and will definitely come back here when I need any picture services. Parking here is very easy since the shop is in a large plaza.

I have been here three times, once for passport pics for a European passport. And two times for visa pictures. It’s key to get those done right. Fast & friendly service! Owner works fast, is very detailed and prices are very affordable! Location is situated in a strip mall right next to the subway.
