O’connell James V MD

I have been seeing Dr. O’Connell for several months now for my adult acne as well as a suspicious mole on the palm of my hand. Dr. O’Connell has always been good about explaining the reasoning behind each prescription and procedure. I had a biopsy on a mole and he talked me through the removal process before the procedure as well as during so I knew exactly what he was doing at any given time. The nurse has always been friendly and glad to answer any of my questions.

Been going to Dr O’Connel for a few years. He is kind, thorough, and highly skilled. No BS about him. His staff is competent and you are rarely kept waiting. He was recommended by my doctor who is a patient of his.

I had cyst under my left eye that needed to be removed. Nothing to difficult, but I didn’t know any
Dermatologist so I just picked one that was close by.
I lucked out with Doctor O’Connel. First of all I was able to get an appointment the next day and not next month as it is with a lot of Doctors offices. And his office is easy to get to with plenty of parking.
The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and I waited maybe 10 minutes in the waiting room.
The procedure of removing the cyst took about 15 minutes and I was out of there.
I don’t know how he might be with other procedures, but with regard to mine, I was very satisfied and would definately see him again for any other skin ailments I might have in the future.

great doctor… takes time and listens to your concerns… great diagnosis. friendly staff… large parking lot… but very crowed as most medical labs are… highly recommend. much experience… and knowledge… note PPO not HMO Doctor
