Breakfast burrito gold! If you’re a breakfast enthusiast, try their burritos. You’ll definitely come back for one or two. JK. They’re huge. One will suffice.

Shady place and shady business practices, I used to be a regular but over time the service has declined and not really worth the price.

Wow they have gotten really stingy with the portions! To save time I made a phone order. I went to pick it up and the cashier told me they never printed my order. She then preceded to print it out and give it to the cooks. Wasted 30 Minutes!

I love their chili cheese fries, carnitas taco plate, chicken salad, and last but not least the chili cheese dog! The burgers are good too. It’s a little more expensive, but I have never gotten sick from their food. Worth it!

Today I was looking for a fast breakfast burrito couldn’t make up my mind if I wanted bacon or sausage and seen that the menu included a bacon/sausage burrito yum! Got home unwrapped my burrito and every bite had it all so deelish! Highly recommend! Will definitely go back

The food is not worth the experience! I’ve been coming here for years but recently stopped because I’m tired of asking for cheese on certain things, PAYINGEXTRA and I don’t get cheese… wtf, where’s my cheese! Also, they have forgotten items in my to go order… once Fries, the next time it was a burger. Hate to babysit and have to check my order! Their pastrami is lacking meat, they give very little and also charge for ranch and wtf is the reason they only fill the damn ranch thing half way??? You charged me 100% so fill it 100%… 1000 island extra too. I once spent $ 48.00 with my CC and the creepy guy said«Oh I didn’t charge you for the 3 extra ranches you wanted» I sat in my car wondering if he was actually asking for the stupid money for 3 ranches and YES!!! He took my CC and charged it! Are you serious! !!! There’s some weird — looking characters that are rude and unfriendly! !! Customer service goes a long way!

Classic burger stand food with what seems like a lil more effort. Chili cheese fries are goood, patty melt also good, not a homemade patty but bread not overly greasy and onions grilled to perfection. Drive thru service not the friendliest and they’ve gotten my order wrong more than once but overall decent food.

My usual order: fried mushrooms, fried zucchini, and small chili cheese fries with grilled onions. It’s enough to share with a family of four. Sometimes I’ll add the junior burger combo.

Made me sick. The end. P. S. got a breakfast burrito, got it so quickly I should have suspected something, had a cheese sauce reminiscent of nacho cheese, bacon was limp. Just not good, even without the sick

Behind the counter STINKS like cigarettes. Walk right Back Out. No Stars for this place. I’ve read other reviews & they look very negative.

This place used to be a good spot! But then it got really stingy with their condiments esp the ranch. I ordered 2 fried zucchinis and they gave 2 half filled ranches. I asked for another ranch he charged me 25 cents, and that ranch was even worse!!! It was less than half filled! It looks like someone sloppy seconds. I complained to the guy and showed him he said all their ranches are like that, then shut the drive thru window in our face. So long monks! I will not be returning.

I see you got Unilocal to remove my review but I don’t care because I’ll just keep posting it. This place has bad customer service and rude workers. A bunch of sweaty greaser boys working here and frankly I don’t enjoy belittled as a customer. I’ve been boycotting this place for a while and I will continue to do so. I might even flour bomb you guys, idk. Just be ready

This is a review for a to-go order. I haven’t left a review in years but Monks, you caught me on a bad day. Yesterday was probably one of the worst all around days ever, as I had an awful shift at work, then got a fractured ankle after falling in the walk in refrigerator(I’m a chef) right before I clocked out, and sat and waited in pain for nearly three hours combined in the waiting room and traffic. My only hope for happiness was a good meal to end the horrible day. We bought a turkey burger, fried zucchini, and a small chili cheese fries. They forgot the cheese on my turkey burger after we asked them literally 5 times. They couldn’t understand us through the intercom, asked us to pull up to the window to order. Confirmed, a turkey burger WITHCHEESE. After finally arriving home after the workday from hell, I come to taste that there isn’t a lick of salt on the fried zucchini. Not seasoned whatsoever. Unravel my turkey burger and the bread is stale, slathered in oily mayo. With NOCHEESE. The turkey patty looks like a very, very thin rubbery patty of NOTHING that resembles ground turkey, or anything that comes from nature for that matter. I am extremely hungry after having a small bowl of cereal and two bites of pasta all day(it’s 7:30pm at this point) so despite that it doesn’t look appetizing, I take a bite and attempt to eat it anyway. The patty tastes and feels like it looks(gross), and it is also unseasoned but with a faint taste of tuna. What the actual f***? Inedible. Yes, we ordered a small chili cheese fries, but the amount they gave us was laughable. Didn’t even fill up the tiny styrofoam box. Cheese was sliced American and not the grated goodness I was expecting. But then again I shouldn’t have expected much after the worst day ever. /rant

Trying the chicken fried steak. Comes highly recommended from my sister, but after having the chicken fried steak sandwich I have to say that my sister must be slipping. The sandwich was pretty dry and the chicken friend steak seemed to be just a card board like item… I will put 3 stars on this one as I will try again and get something else as I really enjoyed the place, service was great and enjoyed. try again…

Cruising in the South Bay gets a motherfucker hungry, so what better way to tame the beast called hunger than with a tasty pastrami. Pulled up, parked, and went in. The dining room was nice and cool, clean and a bit busy. Studied the menu for a quick second, but i knew what i wanted so i ordered a pastrami combo with a raspberry tea. The food came out pretty quickly and i dove in. The pastrami sandwich was tasty as fuck, the fries were some of the best i’ve ever had from a burger joint and the tea… well it’s fucking tea who cares. I’d give the place 5 stars if it weren’t for the $ 9.00 price tag on it. Look i’m not cheap by any means, but 9 bones for a pastrami combo is a bit steep, it’s not Langer’s or some noted shit like that. Good place, decent food, steep prices. I might hit it again if i’m in the area.

Word on the street is that Monk’s Charburgers has been around for quite a while now. When I was a teenager growing up in the South Bay, I always told myself, «I’m going to try out Monk’s one day…» It’ only took me about 10 years of course, but good things come to those who wait! I half expected a run-down interior eating area, and only because the restaurant’s been around for so long. But to my surprise, Management did not let their golden goose get all grimey or gross with age. The inside of the restaurant is in well maintained shape, and updated with recent diner-like chairs and booths that seem to be cleaned routinely in the main dining area. I had the Turkey Club. It was a very fulfilling Turkey Club. Consider this girl happy with the size of the servings and the crispy fries. BUT — I do know what to order next time… I had some of my boyfriend’s Pastrami Sandwich and did not want to give it back! *Happy Dance* Whether you want a quick bite, or need somewhere to hang out, check out Monk’s care-free and easy going establishment! It is a «must try’ if you’re in the area! Don’t wait 10 years like I did :)

This spot is recommended for both breakfast & lunch. The interior doesn’t look like an old diner and seems like it’s been recently remodeled. They have an LCD screen tuned into over the air TV as well as free WIFI. The drive thru window ends up on the correct side for the driver. I know that’s something weird to post but many local burger joints seem to have it on the passenger side. lol Staff is always nice & accommodating. The food here is typical of burger joints but what I especially dig here is the veggie burger. It’s not skimpy & looks like a regular burger. Love it!!! WC: Separate stalls, clean. Parking: Street & private lot(can be packed during weekend breakfast)
