I wish I was near here more. Over 25 years of buying parts at plumbing supply houses, and I can tell you that L & B is top notch. Their crew at the counter and the sales department have all the knowledge you need to find the best part and pricing for the job. Most of the staff has been there a long time (it’s a compliment) so no rookie mistakes. Old school professionals with great attitudes and vey helpful.

A true wholesale house that sells to the public. Don’t worry if you don’t speak plumber, the counter personnel are very friendly and helpful. It is housed in an old World War II era corrugated steel set of buildings.

I needed a special type of water heater replacement (power vent). I was besides myself with solving this problem because either the plumbers did not have experience with them, we could not agree to an action plan, or the price quotes just kept getting higher and higher and higher. I was losing sleep over this one already. Then a friend of mine suggested I try a plumbing supply house. I found this one through wonderful Unilocal.The people were sooooooooooo amazingly helpful and friendly. They even recommended a plumber to me who quoted me an off-​hand reasonable price to do the job. The water heater i needed seemed to be priced at a very fair price, too. And they will deliver… it for free!!! So, so far I am ecstatic that in about 4 ½ minutes this store helped me come to a very viable and reasonably costing solution, when it was taking me ‘weeks’ to pull this off otherwise. Please bring them your business!!!

I needed to replace a water heater, so I went to L&B. Why? Because my grandfather bought a water heater there in 1989, and just now 2012 it finally died.
Bought the same water heater at a great price. Staff is really helpful, and the guys in the front office are a blast!

If you need a plumbing part, go here! They probably have it.

If you want an obscure plumbing fitting, this is the place to go. They have everything you can imagine. If you’re not a plumber though, you’ll have to pay cash. They have a minimum charge of $ 15, so if you buy a $ 5 fitting, you’ll be charged $ 10 for «handling». Don’t worry though, the cashier lady will scrub off the handling fee for you. In any case, the guy I dealt with behind the counter was not very helpful, so be prepared to know EXACTLY what you want. 2 stars for the fact you can get anything you need here. –3 starts for poor customer service (unless you’re a plumber). It looks closed, but drive down the side road (Plaza Del Amo) and make a left through the open fence, then park about 100 feet down the alley. Walk in to the open door and you’ll see a handful of stools. Sit down on one and you’ll eventually get helped.

Probably the best place to pick up plumbing supplies in the South Bay.
Good price and knowledgeable staff. Sells to public not just contractors.
