Friendly service good food for fast food but my only complaint is every time I get the tortilla roll they don’t leave it in long enough to cook so the cheese is cold and not melted

The food is usually good and they typically always have my wing lovers order, but I believe her name was Olga and I she told me it’s cheaper to get the wing lovers meal instead of the wings individually. So I asked her if the wings were $ 1 each and she replied yes without giving me a total. So I arrive to the window and my total is $ 6 for only FOUR wings. I asked her if they were only a dollar like I previously asked and she says no they’re $ 1.39. Wow I should’ve got the meal then *duh* well thank Olga for not informing me of the price differences. Also thank you very much for rolling your eyes when asked to up sell me to the meal. I changed my mind and left. I will not be back here to this location.

Best El Pollo out there thanks to the hard working employees who are always smiling and treat you like you are in a full service restaurant. A SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO AIDA, who walks around the restaurant helping, asking if you need anything and always with a smile on her face. Amazing employee!

For a quick, cheap, and satisfying-​yet-​mediocre meal, the crazy chicken is the place to go. The pollo was what you would expect from an eight-​piece dark meat leg and thigh dinner. The sides were good as well, and were still piping hot by the time we returned to our place. The salad along with the cilantro dressing was my favorite side dish. My only qualm would be that the mac n cheese’s neon yellow glow was a little too fluorescent. So, i mainly stuck to the salad and mashed potatoes. Again, nothing special but a good alternative to KFC or Popeye’s when in the mood for some cheap chicken dinner.

I can’t begin to describe how dry and lame looking my pieces of chicken were! I stopped by tonight after work at night to pick up dinner. My sister ordered her usual chicken tostada bowl and I got two pieces of chicken breast. I am going to forget about the guy who took my order over the drive through cause I figured my food will overcome his annoying attitude, but once we got home and I took a look at my chicken I was soooooo furious! It’s not about the money I spent, but when you have been working all day and forget to eat lunch and you can’t wait to have dinner and relax and you get disappointed with the food that’s usually good, it’s infuriating. The chicken was soooo dry, it looked like it was grilled ten times. I check with my sister, and she was as disappointed! The chicken on her tostadas should be cut right? So no bones! She had five small bones in gets plus few pieces of the chicken were pure fat! We ended up throwing both plates out! This location is 86 for us and they should close early if hey don’t want to serve fresh food at night. Really the worst experience I had so far in getting food. If I can give them no stars I would.

I absolutely love this place. I am trying to lean out and I order the chicken tortilla soup that is amazing and filled with chicken. It is healthy and filling.
Runs 4.30 with tax. Can’t beat it.
Thank God there are places like this that keep it easy. The lines go down quickly in the drive through.

Came out with the family. Ordered a handcrafted tostada the chicken and shrimp. It was delicious! Staff was very friendly. I also love their 500 calorie menu if you wanna feel less guilty.

How can a Mexican Cesar salad have spinach in it. Only at this one they also thru a hole chicken breast with a bone in it. Called manager she said she was sorry but that is the way they make it. Here is my sorry see attached pictures

Their order accuracy is about 90% of the time which is more than other locations.
Drive thru is pretty fast but I guess it all depends whether what time of day you go.
I gave this place a 4 star because I forgot my drink and it was their duty to give it to me and I just didn’t want to go back. But other than that their staff is great.

We use to come here but the service is horrible now. The people here will give you a hard time on salsa which is insane given that my family spends around 30.00 on 12 piece/​2 sides and a drink every time we buy dinner. Go to Chicken Mason down the street instead. Check out the rating and the chicken there is actually good.

You ever have a feeling you are in a 5 star hotel, the smile, well mannered employees, they’ll even bring your food to the table, serve you condiments and check on you often. Just plain outstanding. While the food is delish, it’s obvious their primary goal is customer engagement and it’ll be unfair to include names as all, i mean everyone of the employees are truly outstanding.

I am sadly shocked by the good reviews here. On two occasions, i went through the drive through and both times there was only one other car. The wait was long and the service was slow. During the second visit i ordered the grilled chicken kale salad, and they forgot the avocado. I was still very hungry so i went to the other El Pollo location in North Torrance and ordered another Kale salad there were more pieces of chicken. So this location not only cheated us on the avocado but also skimped us on the chicken. I will never go back again.

This location is the one I visit most frequently. (It is very close to my house.) The food is fresh and hot. However, the El Pollo Loco in Culver City exceeds the quality of this one.

They haven’t got my order wrong so far been coming here for a while good service gets a little busy around lunch time especially the driveway.

The food is up to standard but during lunch drive thru gets jammed packed so come early or expect to wait. They have some good deals for $ 10 and a dollar menu. I recommend getting the avocado it’s really good on anything for those who like avocado since it’s usually fresh.

Why is the manager speaking Spanish to everyone? Is this placing hiring illegals too? The employees spoke perfect English to me, yet they all speak Spanish to each other. I’m done eating here.

The food is good and the speed of service was quick. However, the employees aren’t ride but they aren’t friendly either. The portion of food wasn’t comparable to the price. It was a little to expensive for fast food. When I tried to find a seat most the tables were dirty too.

Some readers have wondered why I don’t write positive reviews. Its simple, most restaurants have inconsistent and or bad service/​food quality. However one place which 95% of the time delivers consistently good food and friendly employees/​service is this location.
However a word of caution; there are many other El Pollos which aren’t half as good. This includes the newest torrance location off hawthorne blvd.
Nonetheless kudos for a job well done El Pollo on pch!

I was in town overnight for work. I was in the mood for a root beer float and it was dinner time. So I order the chicken and a root beer float, but Foster Freez at this El Pollo Loco doesn’t sell that. They have root beer, they have ice cream, and they have cups. But they don’t have root beer floats? I thought that was so odd.
I won’t comment about the food because I was here for the root beer float, which suprisingly they don’t have here at a place that advertises themselves as an ice cream establishment.

Easy and convenient location, the food comes out hot and packaged well, the only real downside is about every 1 out of 5 orders will be wrong, make sure to check your bag before you leave the window. Also when asking for salsa ask for green and red, the green has a kick to it, its full flavored and had a nice touch of cilantro and onions. The red leaves much to be desired but its super fresh and works well with the pollo bowls.
