Although it was better than Pieology, still not very good pizza. I like that you can get a thicker crust and that they have a better assortment of toppings. What I don’t like is everything else. The crust is bland as heck, couldn’t really taste any sauce, very little cheese on it by default. Next time, would ask for extra cheese. My main issue besides the lack of flavor for the sauce and crust is how burnt it was. The bottom was obviously burnt in places. Not only was it overcooked, there were a million little charred shit particles on the bottom of it. I tried to wipe off as many as I could, you know that shit gives you cancer? The people who run these chains don’t understand how important it is to clean your ovens all the time. If you get a Pizza at CPK, also cooked in a similar oven, there is not ever one speck of black charred shit on it. Have some standards Blaze.

Absolute worst service ever!!! Do not due online service. They completely forgot to place my order into the oven for 20 minutes while I had already paid for it. When I went to ask about my pizzas, they had a look of «oh no!» They promptly found my pizzas ready to be fired, and put them into the oven. I asked to speak to the manager, who turned out to be the one that seemed to have forgotten the pizzas in the first place. He, Nico, apologized and reached into his pocket for a coupon for free pizzas. I appreciated the gesture, but he should’ve come out immediately to apologize. I didn’t need the coupons, which turns out to be a good thing since they weren’t even signed by Nico. Next time, I’ll just wait in the line since there doesn’t seem to be any difference with ordering ahead.

Um, wow! This is my first visit to an assembly-line style pizza place, and let me say, this chain will certainly give my beloved Urbn in Vista a run for their money. I’m glad I don’t live too close to a Blaze; I’d be there way too often. The line moves very fast here. I arrived with the lunch rush and sat watching the pizzas fly out of the oven. One thing to note with how busy it gets here, is that employees had to use their outside voices and repeat things numerous times for me to understand what they were asking. I basically got friendly-yelled at trying to order and pick-up. I like that there are unlimited toppings for less than 10 $. I loaded up on new flavors like goat cheese and roasted garlic chunks. The basil is surprisingly crunchy and lends a nice varying texture. The spicy red sauce is so tasty that I think it’s going to ruin basic red sauce for me in the future. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes pizza. Pros: — lots of topping options — gluten-free crust, thick crust options — friendly, fast service — inexpensive — beer and wine Cons: — parking lot is shared with a Trader Joe’s, and all TJ’s have crappy parking. All. — very loud here

Great pizza that you make yourself. The price is perfect and the pizza is almost to much. They have so many toppings. I’ll be back.

Blaze is my favorite pizza place! I try to be health conscious, so I love that they have gluten free options. It’s like a subway, but for pizza! Their pizza is always fresh and the workers are nothing but nice. My pizza is always made fast, but this place does get pretty packed some days so be sure to avoid lunch time lol! I’ll always come here for some pizzaaaa

I love this pizza because of the taste mostly and the price. For $ 8 you can get a nice size pizza with any and all the toppings you want. Not only is this a great value, but the taste goes above and beyond to really propel your experience. The crust is fantastic. Its crispy and actually tastes like something, unlike some other places. They have lots of different options for cheese and sauces, you can’t go wrong with any one. The toppings are very fresh and there are a lot of options. One thing that is very disappointing to see is the cross contamination between the meat and veggies. I always see pieces of meat in the buckets of veggies, which is a turn off, especially if you’re vegetarian or vegan. The service can vary. It isnt always good. Sometimes they can be nice other times they can be rude. And they are always cheap with the toppings so i always ask for extra. I also tell them to make it well done and extra crispy. I also ask for them top it with arugula and basil after it comes out of the oven.

So today me and my two friends decided to go to blaze pizza, and I have never been so embarassed in my life. Blaze pizza, if you didnt know, ask you for your name when you order. My two friends have very similar name, since we are all of the same national origin. So when we went up to order the entire staff made fun of my name ruthlessly and even questioned whether we were faking our names. They then called me a hotshot(whatever that is supposed to mean). I will never come here again Taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasaaaaaaint

Yea… I’m addicted. After one of my friend took me to lunch here, I went back 3 times in that week, lol. The crust is always perfectly crunchy and the ingredients are so fresh and mostly healthy and I can put as much of them as I want on my pizza for $ 9, who wouldn’t go back? The staff is very friendly here, and yea sometimes it takes more than the advertised 180 seconds to get my pizza, but it’s still really quick for something this fresh and yummy.

Chipotle-stype pizza shop. It’s fun, you can have almost everything on it, and it’s fun. You can also get fresh arugula on top *after* the pizza comes out of the oven, so it won’t be all widdled down. The line was long, but it moved pretty fast. I got a Build Your Own Pizza, with half classic red sauce and half spicy red sauce, mozzarella and ricotta cheese, ALL the veggies minus artichokes(i don’t like artichokes), and roasted whole garlic. Then I got a big handful of arugula on top. It took maybe ~10 mins for the pizza to come out. They have communal pepper shaker, parmesan cheese shaker, and oregano shaker. I’ve never seen an oregano shaker at a pizza shop, so I was eager to try it out. It was delicious! There’s plenty of seating inside and out, so it shouldn’t be hard to find a seat unless you’re caught during a lunch rush. If you have leftover pizza, they have half-boxes that fits half a pizza perfectly. Take it home and have a late night snack.

I came to Blaze Pizza during Pi Day. Although the line was extremely long, I was happy to find the workers still greeted us and helped us with a smile. They also had a good assembly line going which made everything faster and consistent. The longest I had to wait was to order(because of Pi day). If there was no line, I would most likely be in and out in about 10 minutes. I was also surprised to see the place is not dirty although there were so many people coming and going. Their pizza is delicious as usual. I never have any complaints. There is not much else to say other than that.

I like this place I visit frequently. However today the worker that started off my pizza pissed me off something terrible. Worker: Welcome to BLAZE is this your 1st time here? Me: Oh no, let me have one build your own Worker: What type of sauce would you like Me: Classic While he’s adding the sauce to the pizza, I was reading a text message and when I looked up he was putting Mozzarella Cheese on my pizza, I said oh no I’m vegan and then he said«Well you should had said something» Huh, wait what? 1st off not everyone likes Mozzarella cheese he didn’t even ask and then had a f’d up attitude. This place usually has some of the best customer service; lots of friendly staff, this guy on the other hand pissed my off enough to get on here and rant. I hurried away and filled my soda cup to keep from blasting his ass with words that would of made him really sad!

Burnt pizza. This was my third time trying Blaze and this experience was the worst. This time I tried adding different toppings but in the end it didn’t matter because after every bite all I could taste was the burnt crust. Too bad I didn’t check the bottom of the pizza before leaving the place. On a positive note, their lemonades are good, especially the blood orange one.

I do like BLAZE, it’s one of the best pizzerias as a concept. It’s not necessarily the best tasting, nor the cheapest price, but if you factor in it’s overall strengths in what BLAZE brings to the table, it’s a great place to eat. It’s about $ 8 for a pizza, and the standard size pizza is filling for one adult person, and I think it’s big enough for 2 to share or bring home leftovers as a 2nd meal for later The concept of an unlimited toppings bar to build your own pizza that doesn’t charge by the item or by weight(and they’ll stack up anything you want on your pizza and as many items, so don’t be shy, but also don’t be gaudy either) is one of the appealing factors. The pizza is made fresh to order and only takes about 3 minutes to make in their ultra hot oven, it doesn’t go through any microwaving conveyor belt quick heating system like other places, this is a real fresh oven baked pizza with a crisp thin crust. This location here seemed a bit understaffed or overwhelmed when I visited, but the service was friendly. It’s refreshing to see these types of places hire young students as their«1st jobs» to build the youth to become responsible adults. This used to be I think the Posuito Mas Mexican restaurant, one of my favorites, so it’s nice to see it’s been replaced by another favorite, Blaze. Parking is easy in this area and the complex itself is an outdoor mall with lots of things like a Starbucks Coffee, Movie Theater, Japanese Market, Retail Stores, Supermarket, and Restaurants, so there’s lots to do here.

Overall, this place is 3 stars. I came here during pi day(March 14th) equals the pizza’s price. My pie was 3.14 + tax = $ 3.42. My topping were red sauce, olives, mozzarella, roasted garlic, ham, apple smoked bacon, spinach, basil, pineapple, and jalapeño. What a bargain on pi day. Downside, everyone knows about pi day and the lines are long. Avoid during peak times — lunchtime, dinnertime, influx of students after school. Overall, I would recommend for pi day. Otherwise if you are close to 800 degrees on Monday — Friday go for their $ 5 Instagram POD — pizza of the day.

I’ve been hearing about this place so I decided to give it a try. The wait time wasn’t long. The pizza tastes good. I wish the server was a little friendlier and helpful, I’d give them 5 stars.

9÷11÷15 today’s date 6:15pm We always go here to have a afternoon snack or little dinner. Or before /after watching a movie cause this location is close to AMC. Besides the pizza is really good and I love the create your own pizza and my son enjoyed how they make the pizza infront if you. Today I decided to make a review because of a nice experience. I noticed they have new employees and they all have a excellent service they all smile and try to communicate to every customers. They’re happy doing their job not just getting your order, pay, eat then goodbye. Good job for sure always coming back to this location for the pizza and the service.

I’ve never been here before and just by looking at the menu… I didn’t know where to start. It would’ve been nice to see all the choices and ingredients(dough, sauce, cheese, toppings) listed out on the over head men. It gets to be a little overwhelming when you’re pressured to choose while there’s a bunch of others in line hovering over you ^____^ 1. Pick dough: regular and gluten($ 3) extra 3. Pick sauce: white, spicy, regular 3. Cheese: goat, feta, Gorgonzola, mozzarella, etc 4. Chose toppings: pepperoni, salami, crumbled bacon, vegetables, etc. 5. Add sauce(optional): pesto, spicy sauce, bbq I chose to do half and half. Half bbq and build your own. The crust isn’t as crispy as I like it. And actually was a bit soggy. The bbq pizza was a bit bland but the blue cheese made up for the flavor. I topped off my build your own with spicy sauce and arugula… I enjoyed the vinegary taste the spicy sauce had. Customer service could’ve been better(more attentive) and organization was a mess! The guys threw our pizza in the oven without us finishing the order. Overall, the pizza was just okay, customer service and experience not so great. With other build your own pizzas around Torrence, there’s just not enough for me to come back.

I always end up eating the whole pizza whenever I come to Blaze. Lol I haven’t been here in a long time and I noticed that the pizza dough is a lot thinner and there’s an actual crust which gets a little crispy when it comes out. I really like their white cream sauce here. A lot better than red sauce. I always get Build Your Own and I’m always satisfied. Just like a subway but for pizza! I still might like Pieology better since they have cinnamon sticks but I’ve been eyeing that S’mores Pie at the counter. Maybe I’ll get it next time! $ 8 pizza for as many toppings as you like is such a good deal! And it doesn’t really fill you up since there’s not much bread!

I was pleasantly surprised with this specific Blaze place. I came here before watching movies at the nearby AMC with my coworkers. It looked just like Pieology so I was curious to see what it was like in comparison. Service: 5 stars for this. The employees there are genuinely thoughtful of what you want on your pizza. They added everything delicately and with lots of finesse! I couldn’t believe it when I was watching since I’m used to employees half haphazardly throwing the ingredients on your pizza(like Pieology). It was also a really nice surprise to have them ask you over and over again, «would you like anything else?» They were very patient and friendly! Food: I ordered the green stripe pizza since I love pesto sauce. I requested for wheat dough, but they told me that it’s a whole wheat blended pizza dough. The base pizza for green stripe doesn’t have tomato sauce, so I added that along with some pepperoni, salame, mushrooms, spinach, garlic, mozzarella, chicken, and artichokes. I waited less than 5 minutes for my pizza to come out and it looked amazing! And tasted just as great. I really loved the flavors and how the spinach was toasted a little bit. The only thing for me was the excess oil in the middle of the pizza when I took a slice. Other than that, very delicious. Overall: The only difference between Pieology and Blaze for me was the service. The pizzas were both very fresh and tasty, but I would have to say Blaze wins it for me for their amazing service :)
