Miss Mary was such a treat at my sons first birthday party. She was by far the highlight. She got everyone involved, even my teenage nieces!!! All the little ones had such an amazing time. Miss Mary was engaged from beginning to end. We will be recommending Lovebug & me to all our friends and look forward to having her again next year!

Miss Mary came to my daughters first birthday party and everyone loved her!
She was very sweet and accommodating! we were running behind because our food was delivered late and she was very understanding and waited until our guests were done eating.
She was able to engage everyone, kids and adults… everyone was clapping and dancing to her music. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for entertainment for your kids next birthday party. My daughter had a blast!!! and were now signing up for her mommy and me class!

Our son loves music and Miss Mary is nothing short of amazing. All the babies and children at his birthday party had a great time. We will definitely be looking into taking a music class when our schedules align.

Went to a few of the classes with the wife (whom also wrote a review) and baby and we always had a good time. We go to a lot of these types of things and there’s quite a spectrum of adults: anywhere from totally not getting kids to amazingly engaging, warm, and welcoming. Mary’s definitely at the apex of the spectrum.
She took the time and effort to get the names of the kids down, kept our little boy riveted, and didn’t make him feel unsure or afraid at all (as some adults did when he was this age — he’s pretty much passed that now).
She also has a knack for keeping the kids focused and engaged through her charisma while not needing to be all schoolmarm (or man) ish; None of that everyone must stay seated in their correct spot BS that doesn’t really work with little tots.
If you can afford the classes, don’t hesitate.

We started with Miss Mary when my daughter was just 3months old, she is now almost 2. I tried different mommy and me classes and there was always something missing. I am so grateful that I found Miss Mary, It is exactly what I was looking for!
Clean, fun, something we can come back to week after week and be excited for.
Her classes are so well thought out, she always has something new for the kids. yet she keeps certain things repetitive so they can learn. It is the perfect blend between relaxing time & activity time. slow songs and fast songs. The variety is excellent and the way she can entertain a room full of babies, toddlers, parents and nannies with so much ease amazes me!
She always makes it a point to sanitize the instruments. Not only does she keep them clean but she’s always buying and bringing something new and fun to each class. You willl never see an instrument that looks run down (like other classrooms we attended). She is very worldly and always finds fun ways to educate kids about other parts of the world, languages and songs. To top it all off, she is such a kind person who you can tell is extremely passionate about what she does.
We always leave class in a great mood, ready to start our day! My daughter can sing more songs than i know from beginning to end and that is greatly do to Miss Mary’s classes! Thank you for being such a wonderful part of our weeks!
The worst part is putting my daughter in the car because she doesn’t want to leave.

Miss Mary is amazing. She has an incredibly positive energy and is able to engage little kiddos unlike I’ve ever seen before. It was a joy to start the day singing along with Miss Mary and be able to expose my son to music in such an inviting way. It was a perfect blend of singing, dancing, and hands on with instruments. In addition she surrounded herself with other talented musicians to provide a well rounded musical experience for all.
The classes just flew by and I would leave singing the songs to my son on the rides home. Thanks Miss Mary for creating such a stellar music class! Highly recommend.

I have just finished an 8 week course with my 6 month old. She was 4 ½ when we started and is totally infatuated by Miss Mary! When we get to class, my daughter sits and stares at her, laughing and moving around in total glee! All the songs Miss Mary taught us I still sing at home with her, and her eyes light up and she starts to laugh. What an amazing effect music has! Thanks Miss Mary for opening up her heart and mind. Can’t wait until the next series!

Miss Mary is absolutely terrific! If you are looking for an inspired beats from around the world and a way to connect with your child in a meaningful way, then Miss Mary is for you. Miss Mary is a true songwriter/​musician unlike other child Entertainers/​Teachers I’ve experienced. Each class is fresh with certain tunes that are repeated each week to serve as memorable anchor songs. The instruments that she brings with her are varied and abundant. This class is an inspiration to both adults and children.

Ms. Mary was phenomenal at my son’s first birthday party! We had about 13 kids, all under the age of 3 on a cold and rainy day. She was able to captivate everyone’s attention (babies and adults alike) and saved the party! We had the party at Garfield Park in South Pasadena and did not expect the rain. When it started drizzling, i started panicking. We were all in the pavilion and no one got rained on, but I was worried that all the kids would be bored and antsy because they couldn’t run around. Not the case with Ms. Mary! She had fun instruments (drums, guitar, and xylophone, etc), puppets, and a parachute to keep all the kids’ attention. We sang and danced for 45 mins! The rain didn’t dampen the mood of the party because of Ms. Mary! Many random passerbys at the park joined in as well. The most impressive part was how she incorporated the theme of the party into her program. She was great with all the kids, kind, prompt, and easy to work with. She was able to entertain all the kids herself, while the adults are uninterrupted the entire time!!! She is worth the money! Highly recommend her!!!

If you are a Mom and you have a kid, you need Miss Mary!!! I taught music classes for years in another life and these are amazing. I have 2 toddlers, but the class blends brilliantly with babies and older kids. Perfect combination of music, a break for Mama to just hang with her kids (and not be the center of entertainment), learning and fun. You can participate and sing your heart out or chill and take it all in with your little one. New instruments for the kids to try out. Fun dancing play. New themes for each series, to get a little variety. The whole class has a beautiful flow to it. The songs she writes are our favorites. And if you are having a birthday party, she is PERFECT! Nice calm energy intertwined with fun and the most beautiful voice you’ve ever heard.

LoveBug and Me Music classes have given me a way to start the day with my children with the songs we learn in class. «Good Morning to You» is one of our favorites and we sing it at home all the time. It’s a great class to start these kinds of singing traditions with the kids. I always leave class sorry it is over and my heart filled. Seeing all the kids dancing and playing instruments, singing, is pure joy. Mary holds a space that is so nurturing and loving and safe for the kids. She is truly a gentle soul. And I love hearing her sing!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND– Everything was amazing! You’re team is incredible & the entertainment was so perfect. The kids loved it and were completely enthralled the entire time… even better, the parents were so pleased and impressed with our choice of entertainment.
We had a great crowd today, so I am sure I will be seeing you/​the guys (Joe & Dorsea) again in the near future– I will definitely be spreading the word about your amazing group and hope to have the opportunity to use your wonderful services for another event!

My daughter and I just took our very first music class with Mary of LoveBug and Me Music! It was an absolute BLAST! I wasn’t sure what to expect since my daughter is almost 4 — but she was engaged, sang songs, played instruments, wore fairy wings and felt right at home in her first class!
Mary is a wonderful teacher — she’s clearly passionate about music and her classes /​students. We’ve been talking about our class for the last 4 days and can’t wait to go back this week!
I highly recommend this music class, there was an age range from probably 4 – 5 months — ⁷⁄₈ years old and honestly, everyone had a blast! :)

Miss Mary and LoveBug Music class has been such a source of joy for my two kids. Mary is super sweet, patient and engaging with the kids. She teaches traditional sing along songs, songs from her theme as well as original music all while strumming her guitar or ukulele. The kids love the big variety of instruments she brings and look forward to class every week. I highly recommend this class… what’s not to love about beautiful music, a sweetheart of a teacher and happy joyful children?

I signed up for LoveBug and Me when my son was only a few months old as a way to get out of the house and to give my baby a gentle welcoming to the world with the music. By the end of that first series he was sitting up and clapping with the rest of the class! Nearly a year later, we are in our third class series and loving it. My little one has really flourished in the classes and already has a huge appreciation for music. He often sings to himself at home after we have been at class! Mary is a warm and compassionate teacher with a positive roll-​with-​it mentality. Her classes are themed but not strict and babies and toddlers are free to move around and explore the room and the many small instruments she brings. It’s amazing to me how she transforms a room of under slept parents and babies into smiles and energy! Her classes have been a HUGE gift to my little guy and me in providing an open creative space for him to absorb music and socialize with other little ones at different stages of development.

Mary is a beautifully heart inspired woman, who teaches with such authenticity and passion. I met Mary 3 months postpartum and she nurtured me and my infant back into the world with her gentle and healing yoga classes. Beside the mommy and me yoga classes… I became a big fan of her teachings and trying her other amazing classes she offered in the community such as her Sensual Goddess yoga and Love Bug and Me music classes.
Our whole family loves Mary! My son and husband adore Mary and we all continue to visit her creative and developmentally appropriate music classes. We love dancing to the music, singing songs, playing instruments, and enjoying the themes she creates. I highly recommend Mary’s teaching not just for her music classes and yoga classes, but for her empathic and loving quality she naturally embodies as a person through life conversation and mothering support.

Both of my kids love LoveBug & Me classes and have so much fun, we have taken her music and her yoga classes. Mary brings music, dance, and yoga to life in a way the kids just can’t resist! She engages them while providing a nurturing environment where the feel safe explore and be themselves. Plus as a parent I love all the wonderful music she incorperates into her classes, playing guitar, exploring instruments and rhythm. A+ in my book!
