I would drive to the other location so excited this one opened! I may never eat a Tim Hortons or Dunkin Donuts again. The maple bacon and cream cheese are a must

I came here pretty late on a Thursday(they’re open 24 hrs!!). The interior is really nice, I wasn’t expecting it for a donut shop, but it was beautifully done and felt very cozy. The cashier was really nice, friendly and amicable. I was here with a few friends, and stole a bites from everyone’s donut choice — lol and they were all really good! I even bought half a dozen donuts(good price) to bring into work the next day, and my coworkers loved them. Very good donuts, staff and nice place!

DONUTSYEEAASSEEEAAAHHH!!! Go there! Quit staring at your phone, swiping away like a killer cosmic zombie robot renegade cop from the future and get to Donut Kraze now! Do NOT waste time trying to compare this joint to other local favorites cuz you’ll simply burn up precious minutes that could be used to jam massive quantities of donutty-deliciousness into your face like a has-been rocker gorging himself during a depressed, lonely, fat phase. There are many places in town to get sugary, deep-fried treats, but if you want to check off a real winner on your«screw-it-I’m-already-fat» dining bucket list I implore you to put Donut Kraze at the top. Sorry no pix. I literally ate the donuts too quickly.

I’ve brought many girlfriends here. Usually after they try these donuts, I get lucky. I call them my «Donut Lays.» That has nothing to do with potato chips, although there was this one girl that liked to put potato chips all over my oh is that the time I better get on with this review. Much fancier«digs» as they say(but not usually me, unless I’m parodying them). This fancy new location of the Dingens legend is 24 hours, just like the original. The service is lovely. The place is spacious, clean, and looks more like a mid-price restaurant than a donut shop. I can see why others have said it is less atmospheric. That’s for sure. But nicer to bring a «donut date» to… depending on the date. But what really matters is the product, of course. To me, anyway. I’m not a fan of the blueberry crumble or cream cheese, but then I never would be. Those were for someone else, and I shared them. The crumble, by the way, is not crumble as I know it, but more like peanuts. For me, I just got a few of the glazed sour cream, where are my favourite at the other location by far, and one of the best donuts in the country, let alone the city. The Glazed SC at this location are easily as good as the Dingens version, if not better. They’re fresh and delicious. Absolute donut heaven. This donut makes Paula’s wish it was NYC’s Doughnut Plant. I don’t «get» Paula’s and I never will. Come here and try the Sour Cream Donut instead, and then decide for yourself. While you’re at it, also try the doughier, fluffier«original glazed» at Famous Doughnuts on Main Street, as well. I’m Kraze-y about these donuts. Hedley style. When the donut stares at me, I always return its«Donut Gaze.» Like a cow, I love to «Donut Graze.» And I can only imagine that while waiting to find out if it will get to be a Sour Cream or not, any given Donut gets down on its knees, and«Donut Prays.»

Donut kraze is amazing! Friendly staff, delicious donuts and a super cozy environment! The fact that it’s open 24⁄7 is also amazing because as someone who doesn’t like bars(but really loves donuts) has a place to meet with people that doesn’t close at 9. The maple bacon ones are legit.

This place is delicious! First time there tonight– we got a nice variety. Loved the one with bacon and the banana cream one was good-YUM!!! Open 24 hours and the woman working was very nice. Atmosphere is warm and inviting also if you want to sit and eat. I feel like a fat gluttonous animal but man those doughnuts are damn tasty!

THE friendliest service A great café/environment. they’re open 24⁄7! Trumps Dunkin’ Donuts and Tim Horton any day and every day The maple bacon donut is something words can’t describe. The Krazy sandwich is good, just a little on the messy side. PS: don’t eat it in the car haha.

I really adore this place, however I think their coffee could use a lot of improvement. It is really watered down, and could benefit from being brewed stronger, or either have a different dark/light roast. This place has so much potential, and their donuts are delicious! Their bagels with cream cheese($ 1.69) is yummy as well.

A summary of three events: Coffee sucks, donuts are goooooood. I’m not going to lie, I like the personality of the other location a lot more. There’s something to be said about flying off the 190 and nearly crashing into the building on the opposite side of the street. I’ve only gone to this location more because it’s five minutes away from me, but if the circumstances were slightly different, I’d be spending more time at the other location. Looking at the building from the outside, it looks a little odd. The windows are tinted so it looks like no one’s home(but I assure you otherwise) and best of all, it’s next to Peking so you know it has to be good. The parking lot is spacious so there’s plenty of room to park. Somerville is a pretty cool street. There’s a lot going on at the streets that run perpendicular to it, but Somerville is quiet, which makes it the perfect street-in-the-wall( Unilocalism). And… a quiet place to get donuts. The interior is new and up-to-date. There are many seats and a nice, cozy fireplace. Admittedly, I liked the trapped, claustrophobic feeling of the first location. Most people probably wouldn’t like that, but there aren’t many seats so conversation and such ended up being between all the patrons of Donut Kraze, which created a small and intimate environment. This new location allows for your own conversation, but a less communal one. There are some different things of the old location which are quirks that don’t exist here: the doorbell to announce your arrival at 3 o’clock in the morning and the drive-through. I didn’t use either, but thought they were awesome each time I went there. Of course, I think with the lack of traffic and highway outside the door, they are unnecessary. I have always liked DK’s donuts because they’re small and not too filling, so you can try multiple flavors and not feel completely weighted down by the donut. My favorite will always be the sour kreme. it’s perfectly flavored and crunchy, which makes for some odd tastes on a donut. I liked the plain and cinnamon as well. Coffee needs to be updated, blerghhhh. It tasted very much watered down and lacked any sort of taste. I know most people come just for the donuts, but good coffee is essential with donut tasting. Hopefully, Donut Kraze updates their coffee. It would be cool if they used local coffee such as Public Espresso/Grindhaus for their coffee. Business supporting business! I’m hopeful. I hope the coffee gets better, and some flavor is added to the interior. It’s warm and cozy but gives me a Tim Horton’s vibe. There needs to be something additional that draws people in. Local examples: Allen St Poutine has markers to draw things on the wall, Sweetness has board games scattered around. Just to name a couple. Spice things up by creating an environment worth staying awhile. I think it might be needed based on the location(not all too busy). Despite the lackluster coffee and cookie-cutter interior, I’d be hard-pressed to give Donut Kraze anything less than five stars. The donuts are absolutely delicious and I really like the staff at this location. With some additional updates, this place can be one of the most important places to come and get your donut fix in Western New York! Stop by and give it a try, the donuts are worth it :)

24⁄7 donut shop?! That’s already hard to resist! Walked in and was greeted right away, love the customer service! They have«special» donuts and regular donuts($ 1), super affordable! Many different types of donuts, obviously their infamous Maple bacon, to peanut butter jelly, honey glazed… I was hoping to try something seasonal like Pumpkin, but unfortunately they didnt have it that day. I settled for the peanut donut(ONLY A $ 1!!). Definitely enjoy the crunchiness of the peanuts, but i prefer Paula’s peanut donut more because it’s much cakier and soft compared to Donut Kraze. I have yet to try the Maple Bacon donut, maybe that’ll persuade me to be team Donut Kraze.

I’m not a huge donut person, but the the donuts here are fresh and delicious, and there are lots to choose from. I chose the cherry donut and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I was so impressed, I actually took a half dozen home. Good coffee and a super friendly staff make Donut Kraze a must try. I know I’ll be back!

My new favorite place. This spot is open 24⁄7 and they have wifi– you just need to ask them for the password. Perfect new study spot for students! The staff is also super friendly the few times I’ve been here! Their donuts are super delicious and they’re not super sweet! For $ 1 – 2 you get get yourself a freshly baked donut!

Donut Kraze will blow you away. I will be honest, I’m not a huge donut person. I came here to check out the new location and try a few donuts. I’m already craving more a few hours later! The restaurant is stunning. It is very cozy, with a very large seating area. There is a warm fire burning, which creates the perfect atmosphere. Above the fireplace is a huge flat screen television. There is bar stool seating at the large window, looking outside. There are plenty tables with comfortable dining chairs. The entire restaurant is exceptionally clean. The flooring is gorgeous. You can tell they truly cared about every detail. You are instantly greeted by the employees when you enter. They were extremely busy, which was expected for their opening week. The owners are the most kind hearted and hard working family you will meet. They were personally coming out to meet their customers and welcome people to their place. The donuts! If you try anything at all, MAKESUREYOUTRYTHEMAPLEBACON. I can’t stress this enough. The maple is so amazing. It’s not overpowering and honestly the best maple flavored anything, I’ve ever tasted. The bacon on top, is actual cooked bacon. It’s cooked perfectly. Crispy and not too burnt. The combination is so creative and perfect. Thankfully we grabbed the last one in the shelf! However, we were told they were already making more. They are right on top of keeping up with the demands of their customers. This is the second location of Donut Kraze. It is located at 365 Somerville in Tonawanda. This location is now open 24/7, starting today. They also sell coffee and latte drinks, breakfast sandwiches and lunch. Definitely check it out, you will not regret it!

Completely different donuts than Paula’s. Not as heavy and more«foodie» flavors. I love Paula’s but one donut is a day long commitment. These are light enough to sample a piece of a few. The maple bacon was amazing! I think Paula’s may have them beat on filling(thicker texture) but these are a fun option. The setting is really nice and they have many coffee options. Happy to have a new, thriving business in that plaza!

I visited Donut Kraze’s second site that they just opened in Tonawanda. It is beautiful inside, nicely decorated with warm colors. A nice touch is the fireplace in the sitting area. It makes it a warm and cozy place to enjoy coffee and donuts. The owners are wonderful people who are eager to please. Their donuts are so delicious and they offer a wide variety, along with specialty ones. I think they will give Paula’s some friendly competition.

Could not resist trying this new location when we passed by. Opened recently the staff are eager to please and excited to be there. Easy parking mid afternoon, but I imagine once word gets out Sat mornings may be busier. This is just near Peking Quick One if you are in the area. Tons of flavors to choose from, all looked fresh and inviting. Most cost .99, but they have a few special flavors that cost 1.69. Those looked great too. They also have coffee and nice seating options. I can’t say I’ll be a regular as I don’t eat donuts that often, but I will say that the location is better for me than their other one, and I prefer these to Paulas by a large margin, so I’ll likely be back. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. 2001
