Have eaten at tuscan house a few times. Service is always ok. Never great but not horrible. Bartenders only attend to you if they know you. We were ignored both times we tried to order at the bar. The riceball app is delicious. Ate the lemon butter chicken and it has good flavor but the fettuccini Alfredo was very bland… it tasted like plain cream on noodles. We also had the chicken downtown which easy very tasty. The salads served with dinner seemed like they had straight balsamic vinegar rather than a dressing. Had a serious bite. The white sangria is delicious! So overall, the good is average but the décor but we really like the décor and atmosphere.

Called to see if trivia was happening yesterday. They said it was. We drive across town for trivia, only to be told it’s cancelled tonight. Thanks for being so helpful…

Monday nights buy one get one dinner had us stuffed! The Salmon in a pesto type sauce with risotto was good, and the Rib Eye with bacon potatoes was great. I wish I had left room for dessert. We aren’t regulars as we are visiting home for the holidays, BUT the table service was GREAT! We will be back on our next visit from Florida. Ask for Casey! Thanks the Christmas Tree Napkin table

Might as well be a chain restaurant. Food is ok but service is never good here. There’s a ton of regulars so If you’re not a regular you get snuffed at the bar. There are many places that are better in the immediate vicinity.

My fiancé and I came to this establishment after holiday shopping @ the mall we were looking to get dinner and drinks so we waited around for about 5min. Before the bartender came and served us. I ordered a guiness and my fiancé ordered a margirita 1st I gotta say the guiness tasted like a guiness lol it was tasty although my fiancé ’ s margirita didn’t taste anything like it was supposed to be. No alcohol just sour mix and sugar. If I wanted a non alcoholic drink I would’ve ordered a Shirley temple. So we decided what we where gonna order waited patiently till she came back our way. She looked straight @ us but then proceeded to the next couple that came in 10 min. After us. Tried to get her attention a few times but we over heard her complaining to a coworker that she had a broken nail. I came to this place once before and had no problem food was great drinks were on point. but as of now the service sucked. I had my heart set on eating here but after I got treated like a minority I refuse to eat here ever again. I suggest eating @ the fusion buffet you get more for your buck and they don’t discriminate you upon your appearance.

Food was really good, reasonably priced and the service was outstanding! My father and I ordered the family style dinner. The only problem was the mussels were overly fishy. When it was brought to Olivia’s attention she quickly got the manager who was just as nice and he fixed the situation. We will be returning!

Had a great meal at Tuscan. We ordered the famous wings and and tuna bites for an appy. The bar area was full and seemed like that everyone was having fun playing trivia. Ended the meal splitting an Italian hot dog with the wife which was great. Check it out happy hour specials go until 7. We ate and drank for 26 dollars

I’m giving the service 2 stars but the food itself was good. The scarpariello wings were good as well as the salmon dish. I must say: The service was slow, coming in with two kids and sitting for 2 hours is not a good dining experience. Luckily, I have good kids and sat quietly and hungry the entire time. Meanwhile everyone else around us was getting served and was in and out. I am willing to try the place again, hopefully with a more experienced and efficient server.

I was told by friends who went here that the menu was changed recently & they were disappointed to see that their amazingly delicious tuna bites were no longer in the menu. When the waitress was asked why they would remove the one thing they really came there for she was very apologetic but said they removed them. Our waitress was awesome, she talked to the chef & he made the tuna bites for us, so sometimes it does help to ask. I also had the crispy calamari which was perfect & the Chilean Sea Bass which melted in my mouth & was perfectly cooked. All & all it was a very nice experience. I would have given it 4 stars for the food & great waitress BUT the Friday night Karaōke music was a bit too loud to hear conversation without yelling, we were sitting near the bar area so maybe if in the regular restaurant section it wouldn’t have been so bad.

I love to meet friends and family here for drinks and happy hour eats! Their«Italian» nachos are awesome and their drink specials are really well priced. I’ve eaten in their restaurant once and was underwhelmed. I usually eat in the bar area and get apps as my meals lol, no complaints from my friends or family about their meals, I think I just like what I like.

This is a typical kind of Italian style restaurant. It’s wasn’t the greatest ever but it also wasn’t the worst. We had the Italian nachos which were decent and different. They were potato chips covered in mozzarella cheese and bruschetta. The chicken Parmesan wasn’t the best. It was pretty bland and it was served with linguine but there was hardly any. The cappuccinos were pretty good though. The best thing about this place was the deep dish cookie sundae. It was the most amazing thing ever. Our waitress was a bit condescending with us as well so that was a turn off. I might be back again for lunch, but the Olive Garden is just down the way.

I had wanted to try this place for awhile, but the hubster was a no-go due to family & friends’ reviews(& Unilocal reviews didn’t help my case either) But then I heard they have Friday«Comedy Night» w/comics form Uncle Vinnies(Pt. Pleasant — see my review), so I used this ploy to get him to go ;) I purchased tix from Vinnie’s web site & made reservations w/Tuscan(I’m not sure, but I think there may have been a food/drink min listed on the tix?) Luckily for me, Tuscan House(aka Tuscan Bistro Bar as per web site??) seems to have pulled their act together — everything was great! First, we shared the Zucchini Fritters, which were the size of pancakes… crisp, flavorful & served w/a yummy lemon aioli. I had the Flank Steak sandwich; it was very tasty & very tender; served on half a loaf of really good(for NJ) toasted Italian bread topped with portabella mushrooms, onions, red & green peppers in a sweet & spicy sauce(more spicy than sweet, but I like heat!). It was served w/their signature Tuscan Chips: homemade potato chips w/Gorgonzola cheese and, I think, a bit of vinegar… couldn’t get enough of these! The hubster daringly had the Homemade Cavatellli(I held my breath as he took his first taste)…he really like it — said it would have been perfect with a little less garlic — that’s pretty much a rave review coming from my Italian husband! The server was terrific; when asked for recommendations, he was honest & thorough; and he was very attentive even when it got busy. Our drinks were refilled promptly & the food was served hot. My only teeny complaint was that the food came out too quickly — next time we’ll hold our dinner order until we’re ready. A very enjoyable evening. We will go back.

I’ve been here twice and it’s not a bad place to go to if you’re looking for a decent meal or want to watch football! If you’re looking for a place with a bar and TVs to watch the football game, I would definitely suggest this spot. We sat in the bar area so we could watch the Cowboys game a few weeks ago and it wasn’t too busy so our service was good. The guy was very attentive and suggested a few items on the menu — I always appreciate someone who can suggest an item on the menu or give me tips when I ask them about vegetarian options. Started off with the Fried Ravioli; for an appetizer they definitely give you your monies worth! If I had ordered just this for my meal, I would have been full! I also have the stomach of a 10 year old so I get full fast, I might not be the most accurate person to ask ha! Anywayssss, I ordered the Penne Vegetale for my meal and I was very impressed with it considering it’s a bar atmosphere. I usually think these meals are going to make me feel so bloated and unhealthy but this had good flavors and did not make me feel like a fatty afterwards! You can also make this option gluten free! Woo woo. Overall, I would visit again. It is a bit far from the area I visit but if you knew where I was from, there’s nothing there anyways! Plus, the mall is across the street so just walk off the beer and food there!

I like this place! I would have given it three and a half stars if I could but only because I have not had a lot on the menu. I normally just come here for the garlic parm wings and a few other flavors that are ok. I’ve had the nachos and I’ve also had the salmon burger. But I do know one thing I will definitely be back because this is not my first time and it will not be my last! PS, there is a website called open table! check it out. you get points And you can still come here and get specials also!

This place was recommended by my parents who said they had an amazing meal with friends. We had no problem getting a seat, it was Labor Day and the crowds just weren’t out. We were informed that Mondays were 2 for 1 entrees. We decided to share a couple of apps and each grab an entrée. We started with the risotto cakes which were light and delicious. There were 3 cakes with a nice light sauce. They were definitely the better of the 2 apps we got. The other app was Italian nachos. It was a plate of home made potato chips covered in mozzarella and bruschetta. It was tasty but a little odd. For our entrees I got an espresso rubbed ribeye steak which was tender and juicy. My girlfriend got the Osso Bucco which she raved about. The place itself was very clean and nice. The staff was nice and professional. They do have a full bar.

The Tuscan House has a huge menu with all different choices, pasta, sandwiches, seafood, pizza– something for everyone. Most dishes are affordable and are in the $ 10 –20 range. I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo($ 12) and opted to add the shrimp for an extra $¾. The pasta and Alfredo was delicious– but I think it would be a little too plain without adding chicken or shrimp. The shrimp were a decent size– the dish came with four shrimp(tails still attached). All of the pasta dishes come with a house salad, nothing special but decent. The bread served with dinners was a thin pita like bread. The desserts are written on the wall next to the brick oven, as soon as I sat down I knew I would be getting the Nutella Calzone. The dessert came out piping hot, and was cut into 4 large pieces. The middle pieces were the best– packed with chocolate goodness, the corner pieces were a bit dry. Our waitress was very nice, but overall I didn’t think they had great service. We asked another server for bread which never came, and our water glasses never got refilled. The decorations are pretty cool, and it has a homey Tuscan feel. I would love going back to conquer some more of that huge menu!
