Super Buy Rite of Toms River

Very nice place. I could kind of tell that this would be a higher end liquor store just from looking at the large store front and huge wood doors. Once inside, you are greeted with an extensive selection of wines and liquors, some hard to find.
I’m not much of a wine or liquor drinker though, and stopped in to check out the beer selection. For a store of this size, the beer selection was very weak. It almost seemed like beer sales was an afterthought, and it may have been. With a name like Super Buy-​Rite Wines and Liquors, it can be expected. I’m going with 4 stars, because this is a well stocked, nice shop with a great selection of wines and liquors, but I’d prefer more craft beers. That’s just me.

I was really disappointed in their beer selection. Both the refrigerated section and on the shelf, it’s very limited. I couldn’t find a lot of my favorites. No Lagunitas Little Sumpin Sumpin, Founder’s Breakfast Stout, Dogfish Head Namaste or Midas Touch, no 21^st Amendment, no Flying Fish Exit beers, no Sixpoint.
and where are all the holiday packs? only saw a few of the 12 pack variety cases, like Blue Moon and Sam Adams. Where’s the rest? C’mon Buy-​Rite you can do better.
The staff is great though, helpful and friendly.

Best prices, staff, service. If it’s available, they can get it. Great wine selections, beer, liquor, etc. Very knowledgeable staff from the cashiers to the managers. They will match lowest advertised prices, why go anywhere else? They deliver, ship or whatever else u need. To recap, lowest prices, best selection, delivery, why would u go anywhere else? I posted this on their other stores Unilocal.Both stores are excellent, and deliver what they say. Lowest prices, best selection, they can get anything that is available in NJ at the lowest price.

LOVE This place! It’s like my 2^nd home! Everything is priced much lower then your average corner liquor store, I go here at least 2 times a week when i’m around… They have FREE raffle drawings for pretty nice prizes. I buy my craft beer and red wines here! They also sell upscale reds like Opus One & Insignia at crazy low prices! Worth checking out if you’ve haven’t already!

This Super Buy Rite leans heavily toward wine and beer over liquor in terms of selection and variety. Where liquor is concerned, the selection is concentrated somewhat away from the high end, which is probably a function of local demand. They also tend to run out of things, which is not something I’m accustomed to in a liquor store. However, chances are you will find a wine that suits your needs; wine takes up a solid 80% of the floor space.
I find the prices to be considerably lower than other area stores when it comes to wine and spirits. I don’t really drink beer, so I can’t comment on that. The register staff are always very pleasant, and if you frequent the place often enough, eventually the security guard will stop looking at you as though you were about to hold it up or shoplift something. I’m a very respectable looking person, and it took me about a year of going in there every other day.
All in all, Super Buy Rite gets the job done well and inexpensively. It is also located right next to a Stop & Shop, so if you buy your groceries there, you will never again be able to rationalize buying cooking wine, which is in and of itself a wonderful thing.

they have alcohol, a large selection of it. Prices are mehh, seen better, seen worse. Last time i went in they were playing reggae which is awesome bc i love reggae. made my visit much more enjoyable. funny enough, as i was leaving the store there were a handful of people standing around outside bobbing heads to it. annnnd okay, back to the store. they have a wishing well/​water fountain there. i guess flip a penny in there and wish that the following morning wont be accompanied with a pounding headache and an ugly random person lying next to you.
You ever feel nervous about going into a liquor store? there’s no need to fear! they have a security guard walking around all the time. Also for you wine drinkers, there is a desk and usually a wine specialist to help you try something new or help you find what your looking for. If their not there, just flip through the black book of wine and help yourself.
This store also has a large selection of micro-​brews which is always a plus. go on my Unilocalers, drink up but remember, dont drink and drive!

Super Buy Rite is indeed super. They have literally every kind of liquor imaginable, quite the stock of vermouth, a ton of wine from every region and price range, as well as a small but nicely edited selection of craft beer.
Housed in a space that was formally an hibachi grill (complete with a koi pond left over from its prior life), this store this massive and will help you get drunk for cheap/​enjoy a nice bottle of wine/​grab a six of something crafty/​stock a respectable bar for an adult cocktail party. The employees are helpful and if they don’t have something in stock, they will offer to order for you!
