What can you say about Red Lobster that hasn’t already been said? We came here because we were going to a movie down the road and wanted to eat first. I called ahead to ask what the wait time would be, 20 minutes on a Saturday at 5pm seemed pretty good and that’s how long it would take to arrive. So we were put on the wait list as if we were already there. Can’t complain about that! Arrived to a pretty busy waiting area and let the hostess know we were there and we were seated within five minutes. Nice. We had a booth in the bar area and even though it was busy, it wasn’t loud or distracting. The menu has changed, prices are a bit high IMO for this seafood chain. It’s not locally caught seafood, we are on the Jersey shore, but it’s tasty. Told the waitress we had a movie to get to so service was good, speedy but not rushed. Place is nicely decorated, clean and the staff all looked happy.

I’m generally not a huge fan of chain restaurants, they tend to underwhelm. But Red Lobster is one of the very few chains that I actually like. It’s tasty. Do I want cheddar biscuits? Are you kidding me? Hell yea I want cheddar biscuits! I started out with my favourite appetizer, crab and seafood stuffed mushrooms. Wow, they are delicious. Tons of tasty stuffing, smothered in cheese. They were so good I forgot to take a picture. When they were placed in front of me I couldn’t hold back and I had to dig right in. For the mains I had the crab and roasted garlic seafood bake. Fantastic. Plenty of crab legs, generous portion of bay scallops and shrimp. Finished off with new potatoes and corn on the cob. All this seafood comes bathing in a hot tub of a garlicy scampi like sauce. Even though I didn’t have it tonight, their shrimp scampi is one of the best shrimp scampi’s I’ve ever tasted. We topped everything off with the warm apple crostada. Not bad, tasty but the pastry wasn’t as crispy as the crostada at Carrabbas. Possibly the result of it being microwaved to warm it up. One star off for that. Suffice to say, by the end of the meal I was stuffed. Delicious. The staff are quite good, attentive, timely. The restaurant was very clean, although it was a Thursday so it’s not one of the busiest days of the week. All in all a very good meal and Red Lobster remains on my list of favourite restaurants.

DONOT eat here!!! I found a bug in my salad. Never seen this bug in my life. The culinary manager, Aldrin Corpuz told me it is a stink bug. What is a stink bug you ask? Google it or look at my pictures. Then he offered a lousy $ 50 gift card and then a $ 75 gift card when I told him that was unacceptable. Disgusted and appalled, I ask for the general manager, Dan Friendly. He offered nothing more for us. Just a visit back on them. I couldn’t even eat my entrée when it arrived. We sent it back along with the salad a la bug. At this point, I can’t even think of coming back to this place. The way this is handled by management is unacceptable and puts shame on the establishment.

Waitress looked like she was on vallium, mgr came over after we complained about hair in our food, obvious she was use to it because of her nonchalant attitude. Crab legs came all broken and dried out, Gross! Will never go back…

I have been here many many many times over the last 12 years. it really is a great place and i have never had an issue with the service. sometimes there is a long wait and it’s hit or miss on the portion sizes if you end up getting straight up seafood.

Arrived 30 minutes before closing but we were still greeted and served courteously. Ordered the $ 14.99 four course meal — soup, salad, entrée and a dessert. The cheddar biscuits were rich and tangy. The new england clam chowder was average but the raspberry vinaigrette was good. The entrée, spicy habanero coconut shrimp and grilled butter shrimp, was indeed spicy but nothing spectacular. Portions were huge enough that we just had the desserts to go.

This has to be one of my favorite Red Lobster locations. The service is always good, waiters and waitresses are friendly. I honestly believe they give you more food here… I’ve been to many RL’s but here I always end up taking food home. In my opinion Weekdays, weekday nights and early afternoons on the weekends are the best times to eat here and at most RL’s.

You may not believe it – but 3 stars is a home run in Toms River. This is Nannie’s favorite right now — and anything that makes Nannie happy it high on our list. Highlight for me was the Manhattan Clam Chowder and the cheese biscuits. The space is very nice clean and spacious.

What you’d expect from a Red Lobster chain location. Unless you go during peak hours you won’t have to wait that long to get seated, this is also a larger location so that also helps. All around it’s a great place to get seafood and fun for the family or any occasion.
