Crust on the pie was perfect. Good quality cheese and sauce. Smaller pies then I would expect. But the taste was very good by comparison to other area pizzeria’s.

This is probably one of THE best places for pizza in Toms River. The sauce is homemade and the dough is crispy and just enough salt. The wings are not traditional but really good and crispy. The spices are in the batter and is really good. You also can’t beat the $ 5.99 specials they have from 11−4pm everyday.

The only reason I went was because of their advertisement. The ad said the had dinner specials for only $ 5.99, take out only. It should have said lunch specials because it ends at 4 pm. They also have $ 5.99 large pizzas and hot subs, but again it was before 4. I can’t comment on the portion size of the«dinner» specials, but I got my son the chicken parm with ziti. The portion was big. It looked like 2 whole, fresh breasts, lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. They were moist and delicious just like their marinara. Their chicken fingers also looked fresh. Their wings were not on the menu(at least I didn’t see them) so I asked if they had them. I was told the, quote, «the best in town». Let’s just say if you like traditional wings, these are not too you. You get 12 per order and they are batter dipped and then fried. The batter is sliced up, but not over the top. But THEREWASNOSAUCE! Now when I asked about the wings I specifically said Buffalo wings. I wasn’t corrected. I was just told they were the best in town. My wife and I were disappointed. We really had a craving for Buffalo wings that went unfilled that night. All they needed was sauce. Then they would have been great. Please mister Pies On man, add some different sauces to the menu. Would I go again? Sure. Would I get the wings? Not on your life.

…3.5 stars. The wings are pretty damn good, they use a wet batter and are fried hard = perfect! They move quick and the owner is cool… They got my vote and return business. I’ll try more food in the spring and summer…

Came here at the request of my BF, who stopped in here for a couple of slices a few weeks back. He was raving about the pizza, so we decided to stop in for lunch on our way down the Parkway. The name of the pizzeria cracked me up, so clever and so perfect for the shore area. There are lots of pictures of the owner’s family by the register, which is always a nice touch. I went over to the fridge and realized that there was not one diet beverage on site… not one! The owner was apologetic and said that he was waiting for his order to come in. It worked out because they had bottled water and that was probably a better choice anyway. But they really must never let that happen again! My BF had two slices of the Sicilian pizza, and I had a slice of the eggplant pizza. The crust was beautifully crisp and and eggplant was not greasy at all. It was also a nice, healthy sized slice. The Sicilian slice was nice and light. I am not a fan of thick-crust pizza, but his slices were really good(of course I simply HAD to try it). It’s too bad this isn’t a local spot for me, but I think it’s worth trying if you reside in the Toms River area, or if you’re about to start your hunt for a shore house in Seaside Heights… tis the season! ;-)
