I LOVE this pool supply store! The one by my house has rude and nasty people working there. We went to Leslie’s pools and are so happy we did! The sales associate took almost two hours to help us with our new pool we got when we bought our house! She not only was knowledgeable and helpful but nice as well. She kept our budget in mind while helping us. Will drive out of our way to go here!!!

Leslie’s has a small footprint designed to provide the basics for pool and spa maintenance, along with a few odd entertainment items and swimming accessories. While they do have a parts department, it is not all-encompassingly stocked, and even though I have a rather common filter set-up, I have found myself having to go elsewhere more often than not when I need something. That’s particularly irritating to me because the reason I started buying my supplies here is that I can’t stand the people and their attitudes at the other local pool stores. Pricewise, I feel like when compared to other shops, they are cheaper for some chemicals, but more expensive for obvious needs like chlorine and shock. I’m not really a comparison shopper, but I think all pool chemicals are outrageously overpriced, and I will gladly go out of my way to save a few dollars on something I’m going to throw into water, at which point it will effectively become invisible. I am given to saying that a pool is very much like a boat, in that it’s a hole in the ground you throw money into. Another downside to the size of the store is that it is understaffed and, in season, overcrowded. It is wise to go as early or as late as possible, or the lines at the register will be unbearable. But the staff they have are very knowledgeable and courteous, which takes a bit of the edge off.
