DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. My husband and I had such an awful experience. We took his Ford F-​150 there as it was stuck in 4WD. My husband asked if it could be a problem with the transfer case motor and was told it was something else that was minor. The next day he gets a call stating he needed to have his transmission rebuilt. They began the work on the transmission and then he gets a call a day or two later and was told «we have a big problem». They proceeded to tell him he needed a new transfer case motor but «don’t worry, we’ll take care of you and only charge an additional $ 100». They had his truck for an entire week and kept giving him the runaround every time my husband asked when his truck would be ready, totally unprofessional. $ 3914.00 and 7 days later it was ready. When he picked his truck up they couldn’t even give him a print out of the service because their printer wasn’t working. They said they would have to mail it to him. It’s hard enough to find a good trustworthy mechanic that isn’t potentially ripping you off and this experience just added to my already jaded view.

I bought a 2004 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer from someone in the Tom’s River area and the transmission was rebuilt two days prior to my taking ownership of the vehicle. The transmission lasted barely 6,000 miles and when I took the car to a reputable transmission shop in Pittsburgh, I received a scathing report.
The owner of the shop said that the rebuild looked like it came out of «amateur hour,» and that he would never let such a poor rebuild job leave his shop. He told me it was a miracle that it lasted as long as it did, given the extremely shoddy workmanship. I sold the car and walked away from it.
I’m not from Tom’s River, but I would advise avoiding these guys like the plague. They are dishonest at worst and at best they are shoddy practitioners of their trade. Please go elsewhere.
