I ordered the bbq beef sandwich and fries. It was tasty but nothing out of this world. I had to squirt my own bbq sauce on it. You get four bbq sauces to squirt over your shredded beef. I chose the spicy bbq sauce. Mom ordered the Mexican combo dish which she didn’t find tasty at all. Stick to the sandwiches and burgers. Our waiter was very attentive and served us with a smile. Can’t remember his name but he worked the back section by the kitchen and restroom area.

Breakfast was good… portion size just enough to keep you going. Our server was awesome, took good care of us. Really wanted to try this place for dinner, however they were closed for a floor sealing. Definitely would like to come back.

Really good breakfast at a good price. There aren’t too many options in Tombstone but luckily this will do the trick for your coffee and morning meal fix. The portion sizes were big and the food was tasty. They only had a couple of waitresses working so you may have a bit of a wait but you shouldn’t really be in a hurry here anyway.

Horrible service. Gross food. Overpriced. No kids menu. Burgers were literally frozen patties. American cheese was Kraft singles. For a $ 10 burger? Seriously?! To add injury to insult — they had the nerve to add gratuity to the bill for our family of 6! And then the waitress wouldn’t let us talk to the manager! Try somewhere else!

My favorite place to eat in Tombstone! Over the years I have probably visited«The Town Too Tough To Die» around a dozen times, and while I’ve eaten at just about most of the places in town, The Longhorn Restaurant is probably still my favorite. You really can’t go wrong with most of the places in Tombstone, but this one is at the top of my list. The food has always been good and at reasonable prices, the service has always been friendly, and the overall experience has never let me down. It’s always great to be back, and nothing tops off a day in Tombstone better than a great burger and fries before hitting the road. I ordered the Western Wrangler. A Black Angus burger slathered with bbq sauce and topped with hardwood honey-cured smoked bacon. I ordered mine with cheddar cheese. Fries were hot and delicious. My server Donnie was attentive and friendly. I really don’t understand why some have rated this place so poorly, this was probably my fifth time here and I have never had a reason not to return. If you are in Tombstone, looking for good food at a decent price, and all conveniently located on Allen Street right in the heart of all the action, don’t hesitate to give this place a chance.

I’ve been putting off writing this review because I wanted to sample a few things and get a well rounded view. This place is good for certain things. I’ve had the boneless trout and it was excellent. I’ve had the fried cod. Not so good. But this is the worst Prime Rib I have ever had in my life! Rare PR should be tender, really pink but not so raw that you can’t cut through it. I sent it back. They threw in on the fire. There was no herb crust around the edges. I found only gristle. There is supposed to be well done edges next to the herbs. There wasn’t. My jaws are literally sore from chewing. The one star is for ruining the Prime Rib. If you don’t know to make it right. DON’T HAVEITITONTHEMENU! They have other things on the menu. Plus make sure if you ask for the garlic mashed potatoes they come not drenched in brown gravy. What’s the point if you can’t taste the garlic. Bottom line. It’s kinda pricey for the food you get.

Good breakfast. Good lunch/dinner too. Good portions. It is a very tourist area. It wasn’t phenomenal, but not bad either. A good option for the location. The owners were very friendly and checking in with the different patrons. Our servers were quick and prompt(and my coffee cup was never left cold or half empty).

nice place good staff the food was ok I guess the only problem I have was the rule that I couldn’t bring in my water it’s hot in tombstone and my hotel was five blocks away and my wife and I walked down town and yes we carry a couple of bottle of water which was clearly to see it was water I was given a hassle about bring my water into the restaurants what I had to throw it away yeah that didn’t happen so all they wanted is to ripped you off on there drinks which I thought it was bs this is the first restaurant had an issue with water never go back there again I wouldn’t recommend it simple that they could care less for its customer

It literally took 40 solid minutes to get two burgers served and I’m still waiting on a steak that takes an hour. I think this will be my first and last time here

The food was just average here. The service was super slow! We waited over 20 minutes to just see a waitress acknowledge us! Yes… we should have left then, but slim pickins for food in Tombstone. We stayed and ordered, our mediocre food arrived one hour later! I suggest anywhere but here if they have more than three tables of people!

We are strict vegetarians and asked if the chef could make a vegetable and potato burrito for breakfast without egg and cheese. They did a great job! The burrito was delicious with a side of salsa and guacamole!

Food: I wouldn’t go back for a free meal from this place. Our burgers were over priced, frozen, low quality patties. Ambiance: Some cool historic pictures and western wear décor mixed with corny glass murals. Service: Staff was friendly. It is a total tourist trap. The best part of our meal was the cold beer.

Tombstone isn’t known for its great food, but of the places we’ve been there, this is probably our favorite. The steak sandwich was ample, juicy and tender. The meat was almost so tender it had a spongey texture, which was a little off putting. Onions rings were good, grilled cheese actually had too much cheese for my preference, but I’m sure others would love it. The biggest plus is service was much better than at other places we’ve done at in Tombstone.

I’ve eaten here twice, 3 months apart. The food is decent, almost good if the kitchen staff is in a good mood. The service, however, is truly dreadful. I don’t know what I did to upset the waitress, but she truly did not seem to like me and my wife… perhaps she isn’t big on mixed-race couples? There’s a rhythm to dinner service: waitress greets you, give you menus, comes back for drink orders, take appetizer orders, takes dinner order, brings food, desert, check, leave. The service was so slow each step took no less than 20 minutes. We were there almost 40 minutes before food touched table. When she did come to our table it was usually to wordlessly drop something on the table without so much as eye contact.

PROS: You get to keep the margarita glass(if you order one), country fried Angus steak is DELICIOUS, servers are friendly and welcoming CONS: the prickly pear margarita could’ve been stronger(if you didn’t know it was an alcoholic drink you’d think it wasn’t), and PRICEY

My husband and I came here for lunch on our day in Tombstone. He had a a ribeye steak that came with mashed potatoes and broccoli with cheese on top. I had the spinach and artichoke appetizer, which came in a bread bowl. Yes, I had dip for for my lunch, but it was really tasty! The toasted bread bowl was excellent as well. I liked the ambiance of the restaurant as well. It was cute inside with decorations on the walls, and there were some neat stained glass pictures as well. The food wasn’t amazing enough to warrant five stars, and I brought this down to three stars because it literally took forever to get our food. There were only two other groups in the restaurant, and based on that, it took way too long for us to finally be served. I’d recommend coming here for lunch if you’re in the area since the options are pretty limited, but make sure you aren’t in a rush.

after a 14 hr drive… nothing is better than sleep. haha i tricked you. i didnt eat this at night cus of fatigue… however when i arose from my wondrous slumber filled with 8.0 earthquake like snoring… oh boy was i ravished. this place was the only spot open and i needed some hearty nourishment. the coffee kinda sucked. but the skillet breakfast was exactly what my fatass needed. got a veggie ommie with english muffin and nice crisp hashes. with some bacon and biscuits n gravy. the skillet… eggs and all was delicious… i mean damn!!! the english muffin with all the nooks and crannies was exquisite… however the biacuits n gravy sucked. service was superb. this spot is pricey but available. my buddy got steak but he thinks mcdonalds and yoshinoya are five star eateries…

We stopped in here for dinner, and we were actually pretty happy with it. I ordered a T-bone and my girlfriend had the ribs, we also had a couple of margaritas. The food was darned fine– my T-bone could have been a little thicker and at first I thought that it had been cooked medium-well, but once I got closer to the bone it was definitely medium-rare(which is what I ordered). Cooking a good steak is definitely more art than science, but they gave it a good try and it turned out pretty good. The ribs were actually *REALLY* good– tender, tasty, and not dripping in sauce. The zucchini on the side was really tasty as well, and their fries were light and crisp with a good flavor. All in all, our dinner here was darned fine. At first glance it looks like it would be a total tourist trap(which it sort of is, I guess?) but there are enough locals eating here to let you know that it’s good. Our service was really good as well– at one point our waitress had asked how our meal was, and I mentioned(after a couple of bites) that the steak was a little overcooked. She apologized and said that she’d go back and get me a new one but I told her that it really was fine, the steak was still tasty. After a couple of more bites I saw that it really was prepared how I’d asked, and I mentioned it to her. She seemed genuinely relieved, and that was sort of nice to see. She actually cared about my dining experience, and that isn’t something that you see too often these days.
