Great place to relax and have some good food. I just wish the bar area was bigger. It sits to close to the tables behind you. All around, its a great location and friendly staff!

It’s a great place to sit outside with the kids. They have good service and friendly staff. They have a simple and inexpensive kids menu. It’s a nice little area of Tomball. We’ll be coming back.

I came for brunch at 10:30 but was surprised to find them closed. I called and was told they no longer serve brunch and don’t open on Sunday’s until 11am. They need to update their website. We were disappointed…

I must have missed something when I visited here! I found a coupon in the Impact newspaper and the prime rib in the picture got me excited so my wife and I gave it a try. To my surprise they didn’t even serve prime rib! Wow! So I had a below average club sandwich with cold fries. I don’t remember what my wife had but she too was disappointed.

Tomball has so many great mom n pop restaurants and this is no exception. We met for lunch, excited for a burger. We started with a cup of chili. I like the jalapeños as a garnish, although I wished the description mentioned it has beans that was a disappointment as we do not like beans in chili. Overall good, but I wouldn’t order again due to beans. I had the southern burger. You can tell these are hand formed patties. This was served so juicy, finger licking good. I like the fried onions on it, melted cheddar, and crispy bacon. The pickle is a spear served on the side. The fries are skinny and mostly crispy. My husband had the bacon cheeseburger and loved it. We were a bit disappointed in the service. Took awhile to get refills. We look forward to returning and trying more dishes.

This place is my new favorite restaurant. The ONLY thing that would make it better is if they would serve Crawfish. This is a Texas Hill Country feel, complete with live music. Never before has a Chicken Cordon Bleu inspired a person to become sexually aroused. It was literally so good, that I had no other way to express my favor, than to stand up from the table, wiggle, and caress my own buttocks while chewing. I wish I were kidding. This place is 5 stars in every way. Including the waitress. You know who you are, woman!

Nice atmosphere, yet small and homey feel. The service was great, and the food was fine. I would make reservations though because they are always busy, we had to sit and eat at the bar.

Wanted to try something different yesterday so I opened up my trusty UnilocalApp to look for a good place northwest of Jersey Village. I didn’t really find anything that I definitely wanted to try on a weekday afternoon, so I just zoomed over to Tomball ’cause I knew that if nothing else, I could take my wife antiquing and catch a good bite to eat somewhere. These guys came out really close to where we were headed anyway, so we decided to stop by for a late lunch which was great because there were only two other people inside the building. — I really wanted to try something with a kind of «downhome cooking» type of taste to it but when I noticed they had a burger with an egg inside of it… that was it, i just had to try it! FYI=I love eggs… anytime of day or night… doesn’t matter! haha so my wife ordered some kind of chicken pasta and we decided to grab a glass of wine for her and the darkest draft they had on tap to enjoy while we waited for our food. Both had very great taste which is always a plus anywhere you go, am I right? needless to say, we enjoyed a nice, quiet late lunch and both our plates were very good indeed. I have to say that the burger was definitely one of the better ones I’ve had in a very long time other than many the ones I make myself on my grill at home… their crispy onion rings were so good, i wish i’d ordered a second side of them just to bring home. From what I can tell on their Facebook page, these guys also have live music at night and on weekends which sounds like a pretty cool thing, but it’s not a very huge place, so that might be a problem if you’re just looking for a good place to have a nice dinner and some music. all in all, it was a great 1st visit so i’m sure we’ll head back next time we’re in the area.

Summary– Pretty average americana bar type place. Food– 3 Stars Biggest sin was fries that clearly were fried in old or just combined fryer oil. They clearly tasted liked fried fish to me which is gross. Southwest chopped salad was fine, nothing special nothing bad, kinda the standard bar salad. Wasn’t really chopped either, but nothing atrocious. The spicy ranch dressing was good. Club sandwich was pretty darned good, a little heavy on the cheese but overall a perfectly fine club sandwich. Service– 2 Stars Slow kitchen considering how slow it was. Service was by committee approach which I always think falls flat on it’s face. The one server kid had no idea about what they had on tap–«it’s like a darkish beer» which turned out to be an amber. Atmosphere– 4 Stars Cool place with nice(but limited) outdoor seating. Value– 3 Stars What you would expect.

Awesome burgers, close to Railroad to watch trains, and the waiter is a hottie. I highly recommend Brautigam’s!

I really like this place. It’s small, cozy and has a warm atmosphere. You might have to wait for a table. Service might not be too quick, but you can enjoy the folks you are with and have a drink or sit on the porch. They have live music as well. First visit — We ordered burgers and a club sandwich. Burgers are juicy and taste like what I make at home only strangely better because I didn’t have to do anything. The club sandwich was delicious and HUGE! I made 2 meals of it! The onion rings were fantastic as well! 2nd visit — We came back a week later for the burgers! Yes, they were that good and we were not disappointed on this visit! I guess we will eventually try other things on the menu but I gotta say it will be hard to pass up the burgers!

One of the coolest places around! Great place to get a cold(and when I say cold I mean the coldest I have ever had) beer. I was with four other people and we ended up drinking and just ordering an appetizer. We ordered the platter appetizer with Fried Mushrooms, Stuffed Jalapeño, Wings and quesadillas. It was all amazing and was a HUGE portion. We ended up filling up on that. I cannot wait to get back! Neat place and fabulous service. I found one of my new favorite places. A must go!

Let me start by saying this place has SO, SO, SO much potential. I hope they are just working out the kinks. You really feel like you are sitting in an old, hill-country barn, furnished and fluffed with chic design. Its honestly really neat. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and happy to answer questions. There is a hidden little stage behind some sliding barn style doors that opens up to just enough space for a small band/acoustic set to happen. I LOVE live music so this is a huge bonus to me. The bar was well stocked and the beer selection on tap was smallish but varied. The beer we ordered came out nice and cold. But now on to the food. The food was ok, and quite honestly some of what we ordered was really good, but sadly the rest of what we ordered was equally bad. We started with fried mushrooms that I can honestly say rocked. They were piping hot, crispy, mushroomy goodness, and I devoured more than my fair share. The ranch that they came with tasted straight from a bottle, and was not good. We asked for jalapeño ranch instead, and it saved the day. Pretty spicy, be warned, but its so very good. Our appetizer, once the ranch was subbed was awesome. Next came the meals. I had a bacon burger, which was very basic but well prepared. The meat patty was pretty thin, and although the toppings were fresh, and the bacon crispy there was not a ton of flavor to the burger in general. It wasn’t bad, just very plain. I might order it again, but I’m not running around town raving about it either. My husband had the beef kabobs and was very disappointed. There was very little meat on his one kabob, Yes, you read that right, he only received ONE kabob. Now this is only frustrating because the menu reads plural, kabobs. Also it was mostly vegetables, not very much meat considering that for just a couple bucks more you can get a 12oz steak. To sadden the situation further one of his precious few chunks of meat was so overdone he could barely chew it. He said it was only moderately seasoned, and that his mashed potatoes side was bland as well. Thank goodness for the salt/pepper shakers on the table. So in the end my meat and potatoes guy left Brautigams saying, well the asparagus was good. Hmmm, not a good sign. As I started with, this place has tons of potential and we will return to give it another shot. Hopefully our food will be better, because everything else here is certainly working.

I really like this place and its in our family’s «rotation» of dinner spots for Friday nights. It’s super cozy, they have live music on Fridays and the bands are really good. The food here is delish and the portions are large, but I do wish their menu was a bit larger. The beer they serve on tap is fantastic as well.

Went here on a Monday night for a date night with hubby. Romantic and quiet. We had crab cakes for our appetizer and they were a nice size serving. Hubby ordered ribeye with crabmeat topping. Steak was cooked to perfection. I had the chicken cordon bleu that was fantastic. We finished off with the crème brûlée for dessert that was crazy good! Large portions… we both had food left over to take home. Excited to have a restaurant of this caliber in Tomball. Can’t wait to try the lunch during the week and brunch on Sunday’s. Rumor has it they have great live entertainment. Looking forward to checking that out as well.

I love the wine bar next door so I thought I would try their new spot. I went in with my two kids we sat out on the patio. They serve a great wine fire road Sauvignon blanc. So good! We ordered the ribeye with fries and a salad as our side. My daughter and I loved our salad, unfortunately they covered the steak in black pepper so that’s all I could taste and the kids couldn’t eat it. The fries were really good so no fear we all left happy but my next visit will definitely ask for no pepper. I plan on going there often!
