Fresh and wonderful. Enjoyed the«Summer Sandwich.» Chicken ensalada– corn, abocado, light and flavorful. This place is a great stop headed in or out to the coast.

What I look forward to most while moto’ing up PCH? The Thanksgiving sandwich. Highly recommend this place for a snack and a cup of coffee when exploring the pacific coastline. Hits the spot every time.

I always make a point of stopping here whenever I go to Dillon’s Beach. Perfect sando’s made any way you like by an awesome European guy. Always delicious and I highly recommend them. Located right next door to an awesome bakery. You will see the outside lined by adventure motorcyclists. Great place to stop, take a leak, and get a bite to eat.

Mediocre food, unfriendly staff. A note to the owner — we were there around 2:30 pm on Sunday, February 7 — the girl working behind the cash register was not only rude, but may be embezzling money. I noticed that she rang up sales but wasn’t finalizing them(i.e., she wasn’t entering the money received for the sale) – so she perhaps could cancel the sale later? There was a TV blaring spanish language daytime television — an unpleasant background for lunch. She also tried to tell me that their credit card machine is «broken» and they are therefore cash only — more likely they don’t want to pay the credit card fees. I found it odd that this statement was made when no sign was up to indicate that they were cash only for the day.

Disgusting, rude, offensive service staff were sick and sneezing and not hospitable at all. Food was just as bad. If you want a bad experience, this is surely the place!

Much better this time around. Very accommodating. Food was excellent. Still a little on the messy side. Lots of bees outside.

The $ 6 sandwich was actually decent. The service is horrible. The guy working the register is rude and unfriendly. The place is dirty and the flies are ridiculous. But it is literally one of the few places to eat. Just don’t touch anything while u are there. It all is sticky and grimy.

My husband and I came here for breakfast on a weekday morning and it was a horrible experience. The woman who was working in the front took a while to acknowledge us and then called a man from the back. The entire time he was taking our order and making our food, he was on the phone. We were the only customers, but it took quite a while for the food. When it came, the food seemed mostly heated from frozen. I ordered the basic breakfast(for $ 9). It said it came with potatoes or hash browns, but I was told that they only had hash browns. The hash browns turned out to be the kind of hash brown patty you can buy frozen at the store,. The eggs were bland and the toast was basically Wonder Bread. There was nothing about my breakfast that I liked. My husband ordered the pancake breakfast, which came with bacon and eggs. The pancakes were blah and the bacon was OK. His eggs were slightly better, because he ordered them with cheese(for an extra dollar). After cooking our food, the man went to lie down in the room next door(still on the phone). He was still on the phone when we paid.

Wanted to support a local business on vacation. While I was ordering I watched a man bring his plate up point to something in the lettuce and have the girl taking it look grossed out and then take it to show everybody in the kitchen area. And then promptly scrapped it all into the garbage bin. Finally got our order, brought it home, open up my ham and cheese sandwich to check the lettuce was ok and find no ham. Luckily we had other lunchmeat in the fridge. The Chibata bread was nice and my husband enjoyed the chicken rancher sandwich. However, I don’t think I’ll be trying this place again.

Quick stop for a snack and were very happy with our experience! The blueberry rhubarb pie was delicious, the pesto twist was amazing, coffee hot and fresh. There was a large group of cyclists having similar snacks… It’s good to go where the locals go! Great place!

Stopped here for lunch today during the One Lap of Marin car event. I had the Carnitas sandwich, which was excellent. It consisted of carnitas on a very fresh ciabatta roll, with chipotle mayo, avocado, tomato, and I chose pepper jack cheese. I also had a cup of good coffee. Service was good and friendly, especially considering how busy it was. I highly recommend stopping here for lunch if you’re in Tomales.

I wish I could rate them higher, because their breakfast food actually looked good. The problem is I stopped in just to get some coffee, waited 15 minutes behind 3 small groups of people waiting to order and finally just went next door. It was late morning, and I am guessing it was a husband/wife team working — they seemed to be trying, but the husband was not very good at getting peoples orders and moving the line along, he spent what was an inordinate amount of time going over the menu/choices with the customers, even as the rest of us waited. At one point, he announced that breakfast was over and they were only serving lunch moving forward — ok, I can understand that, but maybe you shouldn’t have spent so much time discussing BREAKFAST with the customer before you made the change? Ah, I am getting all riled up — I just wanted a cup of coffee. The breakfast that was served to the people already sitting down from earlier did look good though. I might try that if I am in the area again. Early enough for breakfast of course!

The sign on the door stated that they open at 7 am. I woke up at 7:00, brushed my teeth and got dressed for the day. I could see into the deli from the doorstep of our hotel across the street. At 7:15, the deli was dark. 7:20, still dark. It wasn’t until about 7:30 that someone came and opened for the day. I absolutely hate it when businesses do not adhere to their posted hours. I hate having to wait to eat, especially for a reason like this. If you’re going to open late when fewer tourists are around, just adjust your hours accordingly and clearly post them in the window! But then again, there aren’t that many choices in Tomales. The«open» sign wasn’t turned on until after we placed our order. I had the Wild Alaskan Salmon Burger. The onion bun was good, but it was all downhill from there. The salmon did not taste fresh, my guess was that it was probably frozen. In fact the lemon aioli sauce made this extremely messy to eat, and its flavor overwhelmed the salmon flavor.

The food was mediocre and bland. My veggie omelette needed some seasoning and the hot sauce only helped to a certain extent. At least it arrived in a timely manner. I was with two friends and one of them did not receive his meal until a full 15 minutes after the other dishes.- a very simple breakfast sandwich. Dubbed the Marin Mcmuffin, it was far from the gourmet farm to table goodness you would expect from a dish with that moniker. As noted by other reviewers, the girl at the register was not friendly at all. She barely interacted with us. My friends are in the service industry, so they made a point of dropping a nice wad of cash in the tip jar, but that did nothing to lift her spirits. Guess she cannot be bought. Later, my friend was chastised by her for helping himself to a free coffee refill. She tersely said — no free refills, there is a sign there! She did not even apologize when she realized the sign had fallen off the machine and was out of view. We apologized for trespassing against the coffee machine and wished her a pleasant day but as we were leaving I heard her complaining about the incident in Spanish(I’m fluent — si, hablo español). What a lackluster attitude. Oh well! Will not be back!

I’ve been here a couple of times and, while the food is ok, I just can’t get past the rudeness of the staff. I went in a few days ago and the young woman behind the counter was strangely silent when I approached the counter. I greeted her politely and placed my order, but she never said a word to me. I paid and waited… and waited… and waited. When I finally went to check on my order, she ignored me for about 10 minutes and then told me that there were orders ahead of mine. Hmmm, there was no one ahead of me when I went in to place my order, and no orders hanging on the cook’s station before mine. While I was waiting, I watched while a long line formed at the counter and the young woman didn’t engage in conversation or greet anyone. She just stood there with a scowl on her face. I felt sorry for the young woman, working at a job she so obviously hates. Or maybe she was just having a bad day. Who knows? But unfortunately, she’s not doing her bosses any favors by working the front counter there. Yikes.

This definitely wasn’t the destination just driving down the road needed to grab something quick to eat and found this place on Unilocal and what a find it was. Well it’s not fast food and it’s not super fast but well worth the wait We split a «tri-tip sandwich and a few old style coca-cola products in the tall 10oz bottle these are the bottle still bottled in Mexico using real sugar instead of using high fructose corn syrup and they were ice cold and soooo refreshing. You could tell this is definitely a local favorite there was a steady flow of people either ordering to eat in or take out. Like I said before not fast food everything is cooked and put together fresh. As you can see there are lots of choices and I noticed everyone was ordering something different but the tri-tip did seem to be popular and for good reason. The interior and exterior is pretty simple two rooms inside yet still very small and a few tables outside. This is the kind of place you grab your chips and your own drink place your order give them your name and pay and they yell out your name when it’s ready. Definitely worth a stop I’d do it again if ever in the area. There is also a small home style bakery attached on the corner.

Nice little deli/café. The food was great, had the Stemple Burger(local grass feed beef), and a slice of the pudding pie… which is like a bread pudding pie. Amazing! The staff behind the counter were super friendly and you can watch them prepare everything right there. Recommend

It’s really a quirky little place with a great ambiance. You have a little side dining room filled with antique furniture and Goodwill couches. Some of which are for sale, which is pretty funny. I guess they just keep replacing new furniture when one is sold. You order at the counter and the menu is full of sandwiches which are as outstanding as some of the classier restaurants around the area. We ordered the Vilma Sandwich which consisted of shredded pork, salsa verde, jack cheese, cilantro, pesto, tomato, mayo on a Ciabatta roll which we had toasted. It was just perfect. There were so many interesting sandwiches and variety to choose from all with that gourmet touch. It’s a great place to stop before heading to Dillon Beach to see the lovely little town and the beach. The whole experience makes a wonderful day trip.

I came to Bodega Bay for a retreat with a club, and we all decided to stop by this cute deli for lunch before going to the beach. I absolutely loved it! There were tons of sandwich combinations to choose from, but I ended up making a DIY chicken salad sandwich with bacon($ 1 extra) on sour french bread. The sandwich was HUGE and lasted me two meals! The chicken salad was a little less flavorful than I preferred but I was very satisfied with the bacon addition and the crunchiness of the bread. I would say that the only downside to this place is that service is kind of slow, but I think that is because we had too many(30 people) waiting in line. If I ever come back to Bodega Bay, I would definitely come back here for lunch. I want to try the Thanksgiving sandwich!
