I’ve never had a bad experience here, and will still continue to frequent this establishment and try my absolute hardest to not have their breakfast gravy as it is one of the finest tasting things to touch my lips! I could feast on their multi-grain toast and coffee with assorted creamers all day.

I’m always searching for good breakfast spots and this place exceeded my expectations. The coffee is fresh, hot and plentiful and there is a selection of flavored creamers for those who want some sweetness, but it doesn’t need it. My two favorites are the bleu chicken scrambler and the combo scrambler. I’m so glad Mayberry is down the street.

As a former resident of Metro-Detroit and having all of the Coney Island selections from the area at my fingertips I will say this diner not only matches the quality of the Coney Islands, but in some ways exceeds all expectations and satisfies any breakfast craving you may have.

Mayberry has a great selection of breakfast items(lots of omelets), including some healthy choices. Despite how packed the diner was, our waitress was very attentive and my coffee cup was kept full. I’ll be a returning customer!

On 5÷30÷2013, Steve S said«Great food great service» Totally agree. Allow me to elaborate… As soon as I took a seat, the waitress was there to pour some coffee and to take my order if I was ready.(I wasn’t ready. I said«Give me about 5 minutes.» She was back in 4.5). The menu isn’t the most humongous that I’ve ever seen, nor is it incredibly original, but it has more than enough variety. Apparently, Mayberry Diner serves lunch also, but I’ve never eaten anything except breakfast. Was the kitchen fast? Holy Crap! I swear that it took me more time to decide what I wanted to eat, than it took them to prepare it! In 4 to 5 minutes, my Irish Omelet, toast and hash browns(with onions) were in front of me! The Irish Omelet(Corned beef hash, Swiss, onions and green peppers) was pretty good. It was big. DAMNEDBIG!(See picture.) The hash was from a can, and, I did need to put a little extra pepper on it, but I’d certainly order it again. The Greek omelet is probably my favorite. Think«big gyro omelet with feta.» It doesn’t come with tzatziki, but strangely, they have tzatziki available if you ask for it. The Mexican omelet kicks ass, too. If you’re trying to get or stay ripped, you could order the«Yogurt Sundae,» which is basically a big yogurt/fruit parfait. Nothing too far out of the ordinary, but certainly appetizing. Not that there’s anything wrong with the Sylvania location, but this location, in South Toledo(located, basically, right across the street from«Mi Haci», is better. Certainly, the SoTol version is faster. Not quite five stars, because there are better places in the same niche. Solid 4.
