Woke up a few Saturday’s ago to find the house at a comfortable 45 degrees. As fun as it was making smoke rings with my breath, I decided I better get it fixed before it got any colder. After putzing around for a couple hours and failing to make it work, I finally did the smart thing and called for professional help.
I found Nelson’s via a Google search and called the number. I left a voicemail on the emergency line and was called back promptly. Jeremy came right over, diagnosed the problem, and got it fixed in short order.
He *also* checked the filters that I’d failed to clean since we bought the house and showed me how to clean them, and diagnosed a leak in my garage that I’d seen and not known what it was from (drain had frozen outside). He fixed that problem for me too. He was friendly, professional, and competent.
In about an hour, my heat was fixed, my water problem was fixed, and I now know how to clean my air filters. And the price was very nice.
