So far so good. big clean bar, Food is good and is more of an adult scene than family with young kids. Bartender was friendly and on top of refills.

Visited the Tinton Falls location for the first time this past Saturday… Place is beautiful, really nice renovation… Added about 20 bar seats fm the Charlie Brown days… nice and bright, plenty of TVs, good selection of Tap Beer and their signature fresh fruit cocktails… sat at the bar, food was good, burger was good and cooked right, chicken tacos were very good, evertything was fresh… service was even better… every seat was taken but we never waited for a drink… bartender remained professional and polite despite a rude customer complaining about a mixup with his order and telling everyone within earshot he was going to complain to the owner… staff was apologetic, rude guy didn’t care… I doubt a friend of the owner would act like that in his friends business.

Presidents Day 2016 started as a fairly normal day off but little did I know It would become the day I would meet the best 1 — 2 punch in the Bar Business. Walked in to see it 3 deep at the Bar…3 Deep? On a Monday at 2 o’clock? What’s all the Fuss I wondered to myself as my overwhelming hunger was none too pleased to run into that kind of crowd. I’ll tell ya about the Fuss and what it’s all about. Joe the Bartender and his British Bar back Brian. A review doesn’t do this place and these Chaps Justice. They manhandled that bar like a walk in the park. Everything we ordered… Bisque, Tacos, short rib sangweeeeeech, martinis, coca colas… just kept coming. Whoever this Woody guy is I don’t know, but he’s got one well oiled machine running over here. Highly recommended

Nice décor and friendly staff who seemed to be a little inexperienced. Food was good but slow to come out — and not great. I ordered the Crabcake sandwich and my wife echoed my sentiment before I could: tiny cake… big bun. Her steak burrito was certainly big enough but she commented that she thought there would be more 11 yr old daughter ordered Mac and cheese from kids meal menu. For 10 bucks it came with a drink and ice cream but I was charged for the drink and the waitress never offered any ice cream! So to clarify: I paid 12 bucks for Mac and Cheese and a soda. It wasn’t till we were in the car that my daughter said she never got ice cream, but why should she have to ask?

They’ve done an absolutely incredible job revamping this beast up old restaurant. Very sleek, yet cozy. The food is also great. I had the beach burger which was great. The reef pasta and tacos are also excellent. One thing that keeps it from being 5 star… Both times we’ve been here, the hostesses told us the wait would be over 45 minutes. We sat in under 15 minutes both times. It’s clearly a ploy to make the restaurant seem super busy and trendy and its pretty annoying. Lots of people just leave, but the problem is that it leads to a lot of people eating at the bar, which leads to overcrowding and a general lack of space. The place is busy enough that they shouldn’t need to do this. It’s actually a credit to the restaurant that they’re so busy but still turn over tables very quickly.

Only open a month, but with another location in Sea Bright. Woodys Tinton Falls seems to be doing tremendously well! Have been there several times and always tend to get the same thing but each time it exceeds my expectations. The servers are always tremendously gracious, the hostess are very welcoming and the bartenders can make a damn good drink. I have lived in the area for most of my life and nothing seems to do well there but I believe this restaurant will be around quite a while! Also a fun place to watch the game and the atmosphere is just perfect. Definitely recommend any of the tacos, and of course the brownie dessert! I’ll be back with more of my friends very soon

Feel like I need to pinch myself. Lived in the area 30 yrs and longed for a neighborhood place that was comfortable, friendly and served great food… Tonight I found it all!!! Beautifully done and beyond comfortable, consistently friendly staff throughout and the freshest tastiest honest food I have tasted in a long time. From the grilled octopus to the duck tacos and especially the lobster tagliatelle… to the lava cake and key lime pie… All were phenomenal! Woody, you have a true winner here. We will be back… and back… and back!!!

Having been here three times and each time seated at the bar for both drinks and food I will say this newbie is a lovely addition to the the area. They did an amazing job refurbishing the old restaurant location. The new bar and dining area are first class. The service is spot on and all of the dishes we sampled were very good, with the grilled wild salmon served over mixed greens with tomatoes, cucumber and sweet onions, drizzled with lemon balsamic dressing, being a stand out. The drinks are decent and with happy hour pricing what can I say, we were indeed happy. Worth a trip to give them a try in my opinion, and be sure to sample their signature drink called the Orange Crush.

Went to Woodys for the first time Dec. 26th with my husband, bro & sis. It was 7:30, prime time for dinner & packed. We knew we would have a wait, 30 – 45 min. So we bellied up to the bar & lucked out with 3 bar seats. The bartenders were very busy & didn’t look happy about it. The bar was sticky & dirty so we asked the bartender to wipe it down. Cleaned about ½ the area with an attitude. I ordered a glass of wine which was poured into a dirty glass. Upon noticing, I flagged the female bartender to point it out, apologizing that I didn’t want to be a pest but The glass was dirty. She said nothing, dumped the wine, grabbed a soaking wet glass from the sink & poured me another glass. No apology, & who serves wine in a wet glass? So our wait was about the 30 min, and we all looked at a menu so we would be ready to order when we were seated. Our waitress was friendly and pretty prompt. When asking about details on the menu she was unsure of the answers, and not particularly interested in finding out for us. Asked about Dressing options for salads, her answer, oh we have about 15 of them. Apps were not served in a timely manner & one persons dinner arrived about 10 minutes after everyone else. We were told the head chef cut her hand & left, the manager took over in the kitchen! Well, that seemed not to be a valid excuse to me as a restaurant manager should be knowledgable and skilled enough to take over, obviously not the case here. The atmosphere is beautiful, the renovation from the prior restaurant was a huge improvement. Not sure I’d recommend as the food wasn’t anything special, prices on the high side and service overall I’d give 1 star. Sorry Woody’s, the staff really needs better training, put a smile on at the bar & step up their game!

Like Woody’s in Sea Bright, this beautifully appointed restaurant has a perfect vibe: laid back atmosphere, great food and great service. Please don’t leave without ordering an orange crush and orange crush shrimp. One is refreshing and the other is melt-in-your-mouth perfection.

Great addition to this part of the Shore region; great casual dining with innovative seafood dishes, burgers and salads. Great drink menu as well. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to return.
