Sierra Subs and Salads

We purchased quesadillas last night to warm up in foil over a campfire, and are back today for more :)

It’s nearby the Sequoia national park. And food is delicious！U can have a rest and enjoy lunch before the Giant Sequoia.

Great sandwiches and salads. I had the grilled roast beef and Ortega chile on sourdough. It was wonderful! Can’t wait to try something else on their menu.

we were on our way to visit sequoia national park and got hungry on the way up so we made a little stop at this place. very nice sandwiches, soups and salads and very friendly service!

I happened to stumble across this spot when I was searching for a lunch spot on the way to the Congress Trail in Sequoia. It’s rare to find a place with 5 stars and this many reviews! It’s a small shop next to a gas station and grocery store so I wasn’t expecting much.
AMBIANCE: it’s a small sandwich shop so ambiance isn’t really something I’m rating this place for. There’s no indoor seating where you place your order but there is a separate enclosed room for customers as well as outdoor seating. Has a great view of the river and huge boulders below. If it wasn’t so dang cold I would’ve eaten my lunch on the rocks!
FOOD: i ordered the muffuletta and it was SO good. So good that after trying a bite of it, my dad forced me to swap my other half with him! Not cool, but that’s how good it was.
SERVICE: i happened to catch the shop on a super busy day, or so i heard someone say. There were only three people working behind the counter with a full line of customers. You could definitely tell they were feeling the pressure but they were all still very polite. For once, i almost want to rate the customers! Minus one lady, everyone was super polite and patient. A few seemed to be regulars. I feel like when your customers are that good, the food has to be even better.
A shame i live in LA and will have to wait until my next Sequoia trip to try their sandwiches again. Def recommend all to stop by when in the area!

Seen all the good reviews… was excited to came by this evening 2 & check it out… well its a small place with so much selection…1^st off I went by for a sanwich & noticed a lady walking out with uncooked pizzas… decided to buy some & take home to bake… the gentleman that was behind sandwich
station recommended a turkey sandwich with different ingredients ive never had in my sandwiches before… this place didnt disappoint me… will be back again… employees very friendly… when I give a place 5 stars I really think they are excellent business & met my expectations. I totally know you guys wont be disappointed… on my second visit my brother & husband came with me… sat outside seating… Wow beautiful view of river… love this place

I just have to say… this is one of the best subs and salads place that I have ever been to! My boyfriend and I were visiting Sequoia National Park for a few days and we were looking for good local places to eat and we decided to give Sierra Subs and Salads a try and boy was it such a great decision! We ordered the Gourmet Green Sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! We wished we order another to go because it was that good. I am from Orange County, so I have tried a lot of restaurants, but Sierra Subs and Salads is in my top 5 for sandwiches!
Also, they have great customer service! It was a little hard to find since there is very limited service (for tourists), but trust me it is there on the side of the river, just a bit after the chevron station!
To the business owners… open a location in Orange County please!

Amazing sandwiches. Lamb special was outstanding. Quiet indoor seating area and river side outdoor seating.
