Toppers Pizza is my favorite. I live in Woodland Hills, and I make the drive out there to T.O. just to have it, along with a salad from the freshest salad bar I’ve ever seen, and a frosty beer on tap. The crust and the sauce are, in my opinion, the two most important points about a good pizza. And Toppers has it down. The sauce is rich and bold and they put the right amount on, meaning they don’t skimp. A pizza should never be dry of sauce, but it shouldn’t be a lake either. And then you have the crust which has a perfect crispy, chewing texture. It’s a medium crust, not thin and not deep dish. Exactly what I like. The cheese is perfect, and my favorite toppings of pepperoni, bell pepper and mushroom are always plentiful and fresh on the pie. This is why I take the 15 – 20 minute cruise out there, so I can disappear and enjoy.

Usually we get delivery but when we eat there we always get the salad bar. It’s super fresh and they’re always refilling the toppings(lots of them!). Our favorite pizza is pepperoni and fresh jalapenos(fresh is so much better than the canned jalapenos) but we also like the Canadian bacon and pineapple. The meatball sandwich is good, just a little expensive for what you get. I remember they used to be bigger but they come with pepperoncini and chips. We’ve also tried the jalapeño poppers. They’re a little different with dried cranberries but my sister loves them.

Went there couple times and love their pizzas. Ordered different kinds of pizzas at different sizes and they all taste good. Especially the BBQ chicken pizza. Tried the ravioli once and it is more like an American style ravioli(not authentic but taste good). It’s a good place to grab some food after sport practice or hanging out with friends.

I have been going to this place for over 3 years and i still from the valley to Thousand Oaks just to have their pizza. all i can say is that hands its the best pizza i have had in my life. Always fresh and consistant quality plus they got an amazing salad bar there too. I like the fact that you can make your own pizza and they never cheap out on the toppings that you choose

Toppers pizza is another one of my all-time favorite pizza places. This particular location on Moorpark road has a special place in my heart. Growing up in Thousand Oaks, I had countless team parties, birthday parties, and casual dinners here with friends and family. The quality and taste of the pizzas here are unrivaled, and the best of its kind. Whether is be the delicious cheese, the to-die-for sauce, or the scrumptious crust and dough, every bite has a piece of heaven in it. I highly recommend their cheese pizzas, but their pineapple pizzas are probably my favorite. They are not shy with the toppings, and man is that a plus for me. Toppers also has a super fresh salad bar, which is self-serve. The salad bar has everything you would ever want, including romaine lettuce, carrots, olives, mushrooms, garbanzo beans, kidney beans, cucumbers, bean sprouts, egg, croutons, and more. Being self-serve, you are 100% in control of how your salad comes out, and what proportion of each ingredient you get. That is awesome. They have an arcade as well, making it perfect to bring the kids. Beer and wine are served here, and the prices are more than affordable. Give this place a try. You’ll love it, I guarantee.

This was my first time here @ Thousand Oaks Toppers. I was meeting a friend here I did not know what to expect However, I did know what kind of pizza to order, I’ve tasted it before at my friends & took a pict of the receipt my friend had from Toppers Camarillo. When I showed it to Thousand Oaks Toppers that that was what I wanted the clerk replied«yes that’s it»! I ordered it & a salad. I noticed when I went to sit down I had the largest salad plate in the whole restaurant and I didn’t know why the clerk assumed I wanted a large salad? which was incorrect. I couldn’t even finish the whole thing, I had to take it home. & when I went up to get more salad dressing for my monster salad, a lady told me there’s only one trip to the salad bar, I didn’t know they had cups on the side for extra dressing, no one notified me of that. I saw another patron and asked them where they got them & they pointed them out for me. When I got the pizza it was not the right one, I brought it up to the cooks & said I wanted Hawaiian Heat with fresh jalapeños and I said«that’s what I ordered I even showed her the receipt of it on my phone». The clerk rushed up to me & said«I did ask you if you wanted fresh jalapeños» and I said«no you didn’t» and even showed u the receipt so U could read it. she said«yes I did»! She continued to argue with me back & forth & I told her I showed her the receipt which said exactly fresh jalapeños on it and she said«she got it»! But obviously she didn’t. Maybe she can’t read, but handled the situation very unprofessional arguing with a patron. This discourages me from returning to the restaurant. When the clerks who take your order can’t read, take your order wrong and then argue with you about it. At least the cooks were nice enough to make me the correct pizza that I wanted. What a stress to get what u want nowadays @ Toppers.

Toppers is pizza heaven. Trying to stay away from pizza is one of the hardest things I’ve tried doing but today I chose to have toppers for lunch and I decided to give the Thousand Oaks location a shot. It is very busy but the team works fast and is well organized. Tables are kept clean and the TVs are great for sports games and pizza nights. The salad bar is my favorite with have lots of fresh options to choose from but the downside is that there’s always traffic jam. Tip: serve your salad upside down in your plate and you’ll get a bit more(toppings first lettuce last) — your welcome(; Toppers pizza is legendary, thinned crust and just perfect. We ended our lunch with their legendary pizza cookie with vanilla ice cream on top. They also got a few beers on tap which my friend was able to enjoy. Overall toppers is fantastic !

Slices of pizza were saucy and cheesy, very delicious! You can order extra cheese but honestly the regular amount of cheese is more than enough. As far as the toppings, super fresh! The crust on the pizza compliments the pizza as a whole, order your pizza crispy! Down side about Toppers: If you’re here to build your own pizza(toppings) it can get a little pricey. Every topping is extra unless you order their pre-planned like pizza.

I went to Toppers for the first time today with my girlfriend and friend. I was pleasantly suprised by this place! There are so many choices to order from, so many toppings and many recommended recipes. The person taking our order made a few recommendations which made it a lot easier for us to order. The restaurant itself was also very clean. When my pizza arrived to the table it was hot, fresh, and the crust was perfectly crisp. I definitely recommend Toppers! The only negative was the price. For our medium pizza it was $ 18. Still very good though.

Does not deliver to Newbury Park. I am only 2 miles away, but because the national call center; instead of the local chain; takes calls, they don’t know they are ignoring nearly everyone to the west of them. Epic fail. They didn’t properly sort delivery zones and they are structured to never discover the error.

Good Pizza and fast service. But they only let you do one round for the salad bar and have mold in their ice

We have friends in Santa Clarita, Simi and the Canejo Valley and often debate which Toppers we should meet at to watch sporting events. This TO location rarely wins, even if it’s closer for some of our friends to drive too. The menu at TO rivals the other locations. Meanwhile, it’s a smaller foot print with far fewer TVs. In Valencia or Simi TVs litter the restaurant making it a great destination to watch games and enjoy dinner. At TO — you have to get lucky to get a good seat that’s facing a TV. And, with crowds common that can be a chore sometimes. On the other hand, TO remains a solid choice for youth teams, friends and families to grab a pizza, slide down the line at the salad bar and enjoy better than home delivery, chain pizza. The pizza is fine. It’s not going to amaze you, but I can’t imagine a single person complaining about it, either. We, however, get excited about the salad bar, which is always packed(and restocked) with fresh greens, good veggies and better than Costco dressing. In short, if you eat pizza or salad there’s a place for you here. It’s a fun, laid back place to grab a bite, which is evident in the number of families you’ll see vying for a table.

I’ve only eaten at this restaurant location once but Toppers is a delivery favorite for work events. Their pizzas are delicious. My true love is their carnitas pizza with cheese, chipotle sauce, roasted red peppers, cilantro, red onions, black olives & jalapeños. Their crust is thin & crisp which is a plus for me. They have many other great pizzas but I LOVE the carnitas pizza. If you dine-in, they have a salad bar which is a nice addition. The salads we get with delivery at work are good too.

Wow, I love this place. The lunch special is a great deal for quick lunch, this is my first time to try their lunch special, small pizza but filled me up so fast beside the salad, fun to pick what you like.

You can’t beat Topper’s lunch special! From 11:00 — 3:00, seven days a week, you can get a personal pizza with two toppings and one trip to the salad bar for $ 6.60. The salad bar has a nice variety of options… this isn’t crazy high-quality stuff, but what do you expect for six bucks? The pizza is tasty, and they offer all your standard toppings, but a few that aren’t so typical(roasted garlic, carnitas). They have a back room you can reserve for large groups, and a little arcade, if you’re into that sort of thing. They also serve beer and wine.

I’m a tough critic on pizza and I believe Toppers overall is okay at best. When taking into account price, taste, and environment, I feel toppers is slightly better then a fast food chain pizza but really overpriced. First, at $ 5, the«one time only» salad bar is a joke. The salad is generic as can be and they give you this tiny bowl that’s teases you. I ordered a large BBQ chicken pizza and it came out to $ 18, which is steep. It did fill up 3 people and tasted good. The issues were the stomach ache after as my body tried to breakdown the remnants of only 3 slices of pizza. The issue is while the BBQ sauce, chicken and cheese were cooked well and had a great flavor, the dough was quite overbearing. For three people, it cost $ 40 for one large, 3 «one time salad bar», and two drinks. The fact that they have nothing on the menu like a family deal really was disappointing. Pizza is advertised as a quick dinner and won’t be a lot on your wallet. Well, toppers at almost $ 14 a person takes a hit on your wallet. I couldn’t see myself giving the food over 3 stars even if pricing wasn’t involved. Suggest, don’t get the salad, and just order personal pizzas.

We’ve been to Toppers 5+ times in the past 3 years. My husband’s family loves eating the pizzas here, I don’t know why. haha :) Guess it’s gotta be pretty good! This most recent time, we actually ordered the pizzas and had them delivered. There is at $ 1.50 delivery /fuel charge fee. Be sure to pay the driver some tip too! The restaurant allows you to create«half /half» pizzas, where you can get half the pizza done in 1 style, and the other half done in a different style. That’s really awesome, since it’s all customized to your liking. As such, we ordered: (1st pizza) half Carnitas + half Dijon Chicken (2nd pizza) half Hawaiian Heat + half Italian Sausage Both pizzas were medium size. The price is pretty hefty here, but that’s prolly the only downside. The quality of the pizza is legitimate though, and it tastes better than the likes of Dominos and Caesars! :)

This is a great spot to have a slice of heaven. They have a great lunch menu with the fresh tasting pizza options they have at this location. They also have a great four cheese ravioli that you have to try. I had mine topped with pepperoni and sausage. Great combo with a beautiful flavor profile. Parking is in the mini mall lot and a non issue. Service is great as they will make sure your needs are met.
