this place was really nice. it had great decoration with delicious food and drinks. their price was fair but worth money and time

Customer service lacking big time.
A hot day in Thousand Oaks & I was looking forward to redeeming my complimentary birthday drink from CB. We actually drove out of our way to this location, dreaming about delicious ice blended mochas along the way…
But we left with no drinks. Why? Because this location doesn’t honor the CB rewards system… lame. The barista at the register was pretty short with us & didn’t even try to accommodate the confusion. She very lacklusterly suggested that she could mayyybe text her boss (huh — text her boss?) but that her boss most likely will have nothing to offer.
We found the exchange confusing & totally unnecessary. When a customer literally presents a nationally-​accepted CB coupon, it doesn’t make any sense for a store to deny the deal.
Are we upset? No. Frappuccino’s are better anyways — off to Starbucks!

Always great great coffee and a friendly staff. Love the willingness to make special order drinks as well. CBTL is the best!!!

I was having a bad day and I was thinking oh maybe some coffee will help my day. Sure enough it wasn’t the coffee (which was amazing) but the girl working noticed and said I’m going to make your day so much better! She made me this amazing drink that I have no idea what it’s called but it tastes awesome, she gave me a size upgrade and she told the rest of her coworkers that I was having a rough day so they all tired to make my day better– which they did! I love this coffee bean. Never have I been to a coffee bean this awesome

Love! Never really stay here just order take out with a vanilla shake, no coffee, and an occasional crossaint. Always nice service and good internet. Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf has successfully made the most addicting drink (in a good way no alcohol lol), the Vanilla Shake. Really tastes like vanilla ice cream. I Reccomend you try it. Love the design and décor.

Rude, sloppy and inconsiderate staff for the most part, hardly any customers this location so the staff is unprofessional and loud. Overheard a manager tell a customer that she had to pay for an extra shot they were going to throw out (apparently even after she had paid for another extra one since they’re pulled in 2s). typical cheap coffee bean. Very poorly managed location. CB needs to clean house and start over here. Take the customers for granted and treat them like crap go to Starbucks up the block they respect their customers

This Coffee Bean is a great place to meet with friends. It is spacious inside and they have a few tables outside to enjoy the nice weather. Whenever I get an iced drink here, I ask for light ice. Otherwise, most of the cup is filled with ice. I tried the thai iced tea, a new item on their menu, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I could taste the tea and it seemed a tad bit less sweet than regular thai iced tea, which is probably a good thing. Great service, too.

Way better than star yucks! Hip and friendly people! You won’t be disappointed. Tastes like heaven amps you like crack!

When I lived in TO this was my go-​to CBTL. Great coffee. The staff seems ever changing but are usually very good. Nice outside seating. Convenient to the 23. Just a solid coffee stop. The various iced teas are great, too. I miss CBTL.

Coffee Bean is Awesome I have loved their coffee for years, so I don’t have anything to say about the coffee.
The employee that helped me just started off by just waiting for me to give my order, I would think a, «Hello how are you, what would you like to drink?» None of that happened I actually asked him how he was doing? He said it has been really busy earlier but at that point there was really no one there? So I just think maybe a lack of wanting work or be friendly was his issue.
I ordered a coconut cake bread or whatever, they normally ask if you want it warmed up…, not this time and btw it wasn’t fresh it was pretty stale.
My coffee was good at least. I will not opt for that Coffee Bean location ever.

I absolutely LOVE CBTL, but to be honest, I’ve been disappointed the last couple times I’ve gone. Whenever I order an English Breakfast Tea Latte, it taste watered down and too hot. It seems to always be hit or miss with that drink, which I find so odd. I’m still a fan though because this is my favorite coffee/​tea place ever! I just wish they would come out to Michigan already.

I’m a big Starbucks fan but this place let’s. Say doesn’t make better coffee but diff and I think more sweet provided you buy the same coffee but this doesn’t compare with the rich deep coffee of Starbucks. I like both :-)

I came here in a rush to grab a couple lattes because it was on the way. I normally get my coffee from Starbucks and use their rewards system, but the CBTL would have to do. In fact the whole experience was excellent and definitely as good as it gets!
The drinks were perfect. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. And best of all the service was very fast and hassle free.
Looking around the store, it was well-​lit, clean, extremely well-​organized and had lots of room to move around. There product displays were perfect as well, and even though I didn’t order pastries, their case was completely stocked.
I can highly recommend this CBTL store for anyone in the neighborhood looking for a bite and a drink…

Of course the day I come with my gift cards their system is down. So is the wifi.
Lame. I had to use other form of payment.
The barista was super fast with drinks and my ice blended vanilla no sugar added was perfect but when I come to a cbtl I expect to be able to use my gift card.

This is another great Coffee Bean location. It does seem as though the staff turnover is more frequent at this location. Even so, the staff is always pleasant!
They churn out delicious drinks quite quickly, even with a smile.
A while back, I returned a batch of drinks that weren’t made correctly. However, this was handled beautifully. A new employee simply didn’t get it right. A senior staff member remade all the drinks. It appeared this experience became a positive learning opportunity for the new employee (she wasn’t humiliated or reprimanded). It was a good experience all around. I like mutual respect among humans!

The coffee is good, but the employees at this store were a bit lacking.
When I went in, there was a big sign stating their holiday-​specific gift sets and mugs were on sale. This was 12/​26, so I was surprised they were on sale already and read the sign, thinking there must be a specific timeframe. Nope, the sign didn’t specify a date, just that all holiday sets and mugs were half off.
So I took one to the register, and when it rang up as the usual price I pointed out it was a sale item. The girl told me it wasn’t on sale yet. I mentioned that they might want to take the sign down, since the sign did not state dates for the sale and thus was very misleading. She told me that item I had actually wasn’t a part of the sale. I asked which items WHERE, since it set «gift sets» and my item was a gift set, and she said «well, none of them yet». I asked when they would be and which items would be included and she couldn’t answer either of those question. She asked another employee who was behind the counter when the items went on sale, and that employee didn’t say either.
I paid for my item and left, but I’m not planning on returning to this store again. There’s a lot of coffee places where the staff actually know what’s going on and don’t mislead customers about the prices of the items there,.

This is a wonderful CBTL. The staff is polite and speedy. If you show up even a few times, they learn your usual order and name quickly. There’s ample seating indoors in a small space, and there are plenty of great tables outside. I come here time and again.

This location is nice because they have plenty of inside and outside seating. It is in a strip mall, but at the corner, you don’t feel like you’re in the anyone’s way when you sit outside. I love their dark chocolate mocha! It’s my all time favorite. Tastes just like it sounds… dark, chocolaty, mocha. Another favorite of mine that I throw in sometimes to mix things up a bit is their pomegranate blueberry tea latte. Both of these drinks are more like dessert than anything. Enjoyable anytime, every time!
